I don't own the OG, however I really like Armafs version. You're right I wear this when I'm dressed up and have business meetings. Makes me feel very confident. I personally enjoy it, and would recommend it.

Great video. I bought Armaf Legesi on the basis of AC Smells Good's recommendation but I haven't smelled the original. Legesi has, to my nose, a really off-putting minty-synthetic opening, but does get a little better as the fragrance dries down. Performance is good and like you say, it's a decent, cost-effective office scent.
Never smelled Platinum Egoiste, but I'm already on a second bottle of Armaf Legesi. Legesi smells so crisp, woody, and fresh with a tartness to it. Its a solid keeper. Recommend. Thanks for the video.💈👍
It's not that bad but definitely not Chanel. One thing I've noticed about the Armaf brand it's not a knock off to the name brands, its more of a clone.

Nice comparison video. There are some special fragrances, such as the original Egoiste, where I am never, ever going to try an alternative. To me, it's just an epitome of a gentleman's sandalwood scent. As for Platinum Egoiste....I don't own a bottle, believe it or not. I really like it, but it never quite grabbed me by the short hairs and demanded that I buy it. While I do have a number of Armaf (and other knock-off brands), this is one of those where I'll just pull the trigger on a bottle of Platinum Egoiste simply because it's impossible to clone that Chanel DNA. For example, I have Tag-Him and it's a decent Bleu de Chanel copy, but it just doesn't capture the original. Enjoyed this episode. Cheers!

I know Platinum and really like it, but apart from the office, I don't see myself wearing it much. For other occasions, I would choose other frags I own. So I prefer the cheaper version.
@@coachsambroome of course it's way cheaper. But it's surprisingly difficult to get. It was out of stock for quite a while on Amazon, you can't get it anywhere else and when I ordered it from Armaf directly (India) the packet never arrived.

I love PE purchased it last year unfortunately I had to send it back. After a hour PE was a skin scent. I also own the aftershave and when ever I think of PE I smell my aftershave and think about PE. I’ve been looking for a clone! Been watching reviews on this. Also just seen on fragrancex there is another fougere called Armaf “all you need is love” seems intriguing as well. Dude they are trying to appeal to middle eastern clients too…not just western ones…western customer want a different kind of bottled than their Asian and middle eastern counterparts. I can’t even begin to tell you how difficult it is to make these decisions as a big company. But I do agree with you about the bottles.

Do not buy Legesi thinking that this is a copy of platinum egoiste. Comparing these two is a like comparing kia with mercedes. The only similarity is that they both liquid and both smell. Quality of Chanel is ten times higher than Legesi. I have both.
