I admit I have only watched one review before this one...so very happy that you now can turn your dream car loose Matt. Congrats and looking forward to long term owner updates. Man even though I want to race mine when I get one I must admit if I have the extra funds I would go for the Bullitt over the Performance Pack level 2 just for that look.
Lol, for me, my 2017 ruby red EcoBoost makes me as happy as Matt. I'm thankful that Ford has so many Mustang choices and options. For my husband it's his 2004 loaded Lexus.

I wish more car reviewers would take a few cues from your channel. Love that you emphasize all the things one would have to live with on a day to day basis. Like how you review the steering wheel, seats, controls, how everything looks and feels. Love that you don't emphasize drag times and numbers. I, like most people am not going to spend 2 hours on the weekend or way to work going wide open throttle and drag racing. I am going to enjoy comfortable seats and listen to a great exhaust or stereo. Thanks and congratulations!
Then why are you looking at a Mustang GT? Why pay almost 50k for a sports car when you could pay like 30k for an eco boost with some option since you dont care about performance?

The movie was such an influence on me and my friends and just could not get enough of the Mustang. I see the joy on your face driving that incredible machine and cannot wait to get mine. I completely agree with your points on the review. Most people think it is a eco boost and I love it. Worth the 54k if you love the movie and the car. I know how you feel, I love having my dream car, I know when I was 19 and saw a 2008 Bullitt I would own one someday. Worth the wait the 19 Bullitt is pure fun.
The review most of us have been waiting for. Way to be totally unbias and go through you normal review process on this absolute beautiful green beast of a car. You are right that Bullitt package isn't outpriced on the configurator vs a Premium GT and it has that extra specialness and uniqueness. As always it cracks me up and makes me smile (not as big as you do) when you finally were able to redline your baby down a straight stretch. Congrats once again on you attainable dream car Matt. :)

Absolutely love this Bullitt. I had a hand me down 2001 Bullitt in my senior year in highschool back in 2006 and it was so badass. Good times in that car. Can't wait to get this generation Bullitt.
I have been enjoying my Bullitt and of course Matt's review. If I could change one thing it would be the clutch. Matt is right, it is tricky especially for those of us who don't drive the Bullitt as a daily driver. I loved the clutch in my 2015 Challenger 392 Scatpack, a nice soft feel that even a beginner could master quickly.
I'm so glad you pointed out the recaro seats lose the heating and cooling - I'm looking at buying one of these and didn't realize that!! I was specifically wanting the recaros but that's a big loss for daily use.

Being pigeon holed into any one camp only inhibits your experience to "All the heavenly glory" (to quote Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon). I've owned an assortment of brands from Rotary, Ford, GM, Subaru and Jaguar F-type R. I had an 11 GT with the Coyote and have been convinced since that's it an awesome engine.
beidlern that scene in Enter The Dragon is awesome, I often think Bruce Lee would talk about the way we have become addicted to smart phones in the same way if he was alive today. Everyone is addicted to seeking stimulation through a tiny screen rather then experiencing the Heavenly Glory of the real world we all live in. “It’s like a finger pointing at the moon. Don’t concentrate on the finger otherwise you’ll miss all the heavenly glory!”
Growing up everyone wanted their dream car to be a Lamborghini or mclaren, i've always loved the mustang and when I found out the bullit mustang came out I just fell in love!!! 💗💗💗💗 I hope I can get one eventually loved this review!!!!
Great review Matt, I've watched all your Bullitt one's as I wait for my one in UK car in Nov/Dec, ordered green with only option available here, magna ride, so glad you and other reviews all recommend it. Not 100% sure of final speck for UK will be, down on power from US cars I know, it comes with recaros' standard (the GT I road tested in July had recaro's which did power back and forward, hopefully my Bullitt will be the same) also hope it will have the open air filter and larger throttle body. Do you have any more details on the specification for UK right had drive cars, or where I might find it?

Hey Matt, great video. I had a UK car on order but Ford decided to take off the Torsen Diff, Gauge pack, Strut Brace and reduce power but still charge full price. So I cancelled. I call the RHD Bullitts Bullitt lite. Enjoy your as it should be product.

Nice review Matt. I'd been looking for a '19 for a while and recently bought a barely used one. I' am quite excited about it and still need to become familiar with all the details. Like you, I wanted the standard seats for the power, heating, and cooling features. I'll probably watch this review several more timesto be sure I didn't miss anything.
I floored it on my 2018 GT recently and it began to skid sideways despite it having the ratio limited slip axle and soft compound Pirelli tires for extra grip. Fortunately, was able to regain control right away and no harm done. This being my 4th GT Mustang I've owned, I'm used to how Mustangs handle and know how to maintain control for the most part.
Just got my 2019 Bullitt in black with the recaro seats. Only 28k miles on her, i've had her for 3 days and i was super worried because i've daily driven a tuned 03 cobra for the last 6 years. At first i really struggled with going from a stage 4 cable driven clutch to this super soft hydraulic one. Luckily setting my mode to have sport steering and traction control off is making me feel more comfortable. Love it so far.
I can’t believe I may be getting one of these in a few months. I’m so excited. I’ve never had a brand new car but it would be so awesome to be able to. I’d be able to keep the car like new without worrying about previous owner neglect.

Used to hate the facelift s550's, but now down the road when these start to become more affordable i would only want a facelift. Love the headlights and those slits on the back where the bullit/ GT badge is. Truly think this is a timeless design.
Great review Matt I love how you got on it and really drove your car. By the way the engineers tuned the exhaust specifically to sound like the bullitt car from the movie, guess you missed it. Great review . Traded in my 2015 GT in Guard Green with the 50th anniversary package last night . Lucked out and bought Bullitt # K0028 in Winnipeg lol I pick it up this Monday . Cant wait
Those. Seats are by far good enough. You are not racing the car all the time. They are comfortable enough for long rides and hold you for spirited driving. What I personally would change is the bulky Bullitt badge on the back. I would exchange that panel for a blanc black one. People know it's a Bullitt.
Appreciate your insights on the Bullitt, Matt. I like the fact that Ford left that darned whale tail engine cover off the Bullitt engine. It looks so much better than the standard GT. Enjoy and drive safe!

Matt I have to say that I agree with you, the exhaust note and overall sound is the best part of the Bullitt. One of the first things people, including myself, think when buying a "sports" car is the exhaust note is not aggressive enough. So nice to see that Ford did it right with this one. OH and thanks for sharing the review of your baby with us... SO what did you name it?

I prefer taller gears. My 05 mustang gt has short gears. I think 4.10s and I hate it. I like 3.55 or even 3.31

Used to hate the facelift s550's, but now down the road when these start to become more affordable i would only want a facelift. Love the headlights and those slits on the back where the bullit/ GT badge is. Truly think this is a timeless design.
Great review Matt I love how you got on it and really drove your car. By the way the engineers tuned the exhaust specifically to sound like the bullitt car from the movie, guess you missed it.
I know I’ve already mentioned it but you really need to see The Kelley blue book review of the bullitt on RUclips it is freaking amazing. Can’t wait till I get 1000 miles on mine good luck bro!!!!

Great review . Traded in my 2015 GT in Guard Green with the 50th anniversary package last night . Lucked out and bought Bullitt # K0028 in Winnipeg lol

Those. Seats are by far good enough. You are not racing the car all the time. They are comfortable enough for long rides and hold you for spirited driving.
What I personally would change is the bulky Bullitt badge on the back. I would exchange that panel for a blanc black one. People know it's a Bullitt.
That Bullitt Stang sounds too good, and with the pops n' crackles too mannn!

Appreciate your insights on the Bullitt, Matt. I like the fact that Ford left that darned whale tail engine cover off the Bullitt engine. It looks so much better than the standard GT. Enjoy and drive safe!

Hi Matt,thanks a lot for your Bullitt video series.What a beautiful car!I am from Germany and ordered the regular Gt Fashback with Magneride and PP2 in June.The delivery is planned for January in Cologne and I am really looking forward to my first pony car.Could you please ckeck which Version your Sync 3 navigation system has?F7?Any issues with the Getrag gear so far?I have heard of the TSB in the US.Hopefully this is for single issues.

Matt I have to say that I agree with you, the exhaust note and overall sound is the best part of the Bullitt. One of the first things people, including myself, think when buying a "sports" car is the exhaust note is not aggressive enough. So nice to see that Ford did it right with this one. OH and thanks for sharing the review of your baby with us... SO what did you name it?
