Yeah..it's good to know. But if you live in traffic-heavy metropolis', it can become a bit of a pain. OTOH, ya won't be on your cell phone or trying to do makeup instead of driving.

@@rubiks15 I had a 08. Bullitt press car purchased from local ford dealer back then. :) it was marked 08 on a strut bar, so it was 8th produced bullitt out of 4000(or 7000? Not quite sure at this point) they made during that year. The dealer specifically explained it to me that it was a press car and is being offered with a discount + full warranty as if it was new for that reason. It had only 900 miles on it and offered at $ 30000 which is almost 7 grand cheaper that brand new. So I took the deal, and just drove that car as if it is still a press car for following 5 years until the warranty expires. It was a pure joy to drive a stang that way during the entire ownership, and I only had to do one suspension repair under the warranty during that period. Now I'm driving hyundai ioniq hybrid since mustang can not fit two kids + their supplies in it, and I have to drive bunch more miles on daily basis. :( but video really make me want to get the bullitt again.
As a huge Steve McQueen fan and a vast Mustang long-time enthusiast, the unfortunate thing preventing me from getting this Bullit is lack of funds at the moment such a perfect car/colour in every way, thank you for presenting this in a way that made me cry like a little girl, excellent review too, and yes I am a subscriber.

I kinda like the black one, it suits the newer body style. And it's a little more stealth because people won't know it's a Bullitt until they're close to it. But yeah if you're getting a Bullitt, might as well get the green.
If I were able to purchase one, I'd probably end up buying the Dark Highland Green one myself however if you do prefer the black one, it does seem on the prior Bullitts that the black ends up being a more rare color and, as a result, more valuable over time. The black one might be the smart one to get and it does look really good, too.
@@thedon9670 Depends on the car and the circumstances. I think most Bullitt owners are going to go the extra mile to keep their car looking good so black isn't going to be that big of a headache. Plus with the new ceramic coatings, and all that kind of stuff there are ways to make caring for a black car a little easier.

This is Americas icon is priceless and a rare future classic muscle car will be worth a fortune soon the last of the petrol v8ts and the last example to only come with a dying manual transmission only in this model and this is what makes this car as rare as old school can get something that we will never see again it will end up being a show piece to remind us what it was realy like to drive a stick back in the day and what an experience it realy was. Salute to the mustang bullitt.

I am old enough that I was in high school when the Fox Body 89-93 hit its zenith. Back then anybody at all that actually had one of those FIVE POINT OHHs was automatically the coolest person ever. 480 HORSEPOWER?!! In a PRODUCTION MUSTANG?!! Back in the day the 89-93' GT's 225 horsepower and the Cobra Fox Body having 245 horsepower was considered impressive. I wish the Bullitt had an automatic option though. Anybody out there for some unknown reason considers 480 HORSEPOWER as being somehow "weak" just because there are so MANY 500+ horsepower vehicles from different makers now for the GT to compete with needs a mental health evaluation. Now is the REAL "Golden Age of Horsepower".

I really enjoy your reviews. The only thing I wish the channel would do is criticize the cars more. All the other channels don’t just discuss the pros, but where the down falls are and I think that’s missing here.
Micah can drive! I like the homage to the stunt car driver in the Mustang that was evading the police here in Los Angeles area a few years go, if it was intentional, that guy could drive like Micah.

Maybe. The Ford GT 2004. Only a few were ordered in the blue and orange paint. Now they are worth a shit load more.
I was able to get the black 2008 Bullitt from an auction last year, but if I had a choice. I would definitely go for the green
Black is THE single worst colour you can buy. Shows every spec of dirt, shows scratches super easily. Most difficult to keep looking good.
