You talked about having the engine closer to the firewall. When auto makers first started with sideways engines they were closer to the firewall, it created so much heat that it was degrading and blowing head gaskets and valve cover gaskets. So the solution is to give the engine some breathing room and not trap the heat between the engine and firewall.

Nice video! Enjoyed your review. I would just add one correction about the tow capacity. The 1000 lbs. tow capacity is for the 4 cylinder engine only. The V6 that you are testing here, has a tow capacity of 4000 lbs. At least that's what I have been coming up with in my research. Just a FYI for anybody who may be turned off of this vehicle because of the towing capacity figure. 4000 lbs. is much more in line with other vehicles in this size category.

With that being said, I would take the Lincoln Aviator even if it's a bit more expensive because that car does look very unique and expensive. The Aviator is around 80k very much loaded. I think it's worth it.

      Yes, Geely is Chinese - - -
FYI: This from "Forbes" / David Kiley / October 16th, 2018... "Doubters of the deal expected Geely to rob Volvo of what made the brand unique. Instead, the company has bolstered Swedish management and mpowered them to stick to what they do best-Scandinavian design and peerless safety engineering.
      "
"The biggest commitment to growth for Volvo by Geely is the opening of a new manufacturing assembly plant in Ridgeville, South Carolina near Charlotte. Volvo is building the S60 sedan right now in the new plant, and will add the XC90 in 2021."
      -
Geely is leaving Volvo alone ... The XC-90 is one beautiful, well built machine...

Some cars may be "better" than other's, in the way that some clothes may be "better" than others, but at the end of the day, if one car looks better than the other, I'll take it. They all do what they're supposed to well, so it just comes down to the look that fits you best.

GM’s Super Cruise is state of the art and is the best system of any car...including Tesla and the Germans. It’s only going to be available on the 2020 CT6 & CT5. Non the XT6 for 2020 because they’re still working on major upgrades. But when the new 2021 Escalade premiers it’s definitely going to have it and I hope they Include it on the complete Cadillac line up.

Uh, there are two rear cameras; the one up top is displayed on the rear-view mirror. The standard back-up camera is exactly where you'd expect to see it, which is just above the license plate.
