'You shouldn't be out here at night like this.'
'It's two in the afternoon, you crazy old bastard!'
Fucking priceless. :D
Two lines had me in tears: "You're a disgrace to all fake David Hesses!" and "I'm sure all the auditions were the actors looking into the camera and screaming 'I WANNA FUCK!'"
"You're being weird, Officer Polanski!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I spit out my drink!
The fact that that’s actually the character’s name made things even funnier
"Just because weird Ralph's got himself murdered, doesn't mean somethings happened to the others"
Slasher-movie victim logic at it's finest.
I read this comment before watching the video and assumed it was a snob line. Bizarre.
A stellar episode. I laughed out loud multiple times.
Lloyd should lend his voice to more movie soundtracks.
Got to love the dummy at the start very realistic
I kept waiting for Brad to comment on it since he kept showing it over and over and over. I cracked up every time! He only mentioned the dummy that doubled for the Santa murderer lady.
I was wondering when he would say something since, you're right, he repeatedly showed it. I'm surprised no one else in the comments commented on the dummy either. I think it's hilarious!
I love how the dead girl's left arm moved from being at her side when the dummy hit the floor to being bent with her hand at the same level as her head when they cut back to it.
y'know, a horror movie where the Crazy Ralph type turns out to be a killer might be a neat idea, have him be all "I warned you you were doomed!"...too bad it ain't this flick.
When the old lady killer lifted up the 200-pound jock with piano wire, I immediately thought of the Friday the 13th review where Brad goes "Betsy Palmer did that?" Because seriously, I have a hard time buying that she can bicep curl a quarterback. And was this a paint-by-numbers slasher film when it came out at the start of the slasher film era?
There's a type of example of media called the "codifier". Normally it is used to refer to the most-popular instance of a genre, character archetype, plot element, or other narrative device...such as how Scream codified the "90's horror revival" or Legolas inspired half a bajillion "fantasy Elf" characters in books, movies, D&D campaigns, or even how "Chekhov's Gun" is named after the then-famous writer Anton Chekhov whose then-popular book of advice to new/aspiring writers comments describing the narrative device when playwrights and novelists and poets for millennia had been using it.
In each instance, you have a codifier, or at least what someone considers a codifier, for the whatever. One could argue that "To All a Goodnight" is a codifier of the "Slasher" film. It may not be a good slasher, but it could still have been a baseline that the genre could begin at and possibly (read: almost certainly) surpass.
If that makes sense.
@@onijester56 interesting it came out before most of the major ones
That opening theme does not come from any ordinary cat. That is an original M. R. Miittens. A classic.
Next Year please do Christmas Evil. It's not particularly great, but it does have a killer Santa who actually does appear to make a choice between naughty and nice. He actually does real Santa like things between killings. I liked it for that.
3:31 Lloyd cameo...albeit he's sleeping with his back against the camera, but I still count it as a cameo!
You mentioned this movie in your Silent Night Deadly Night 3 review, Phelous reviewed it 4 years ago, and here you are reviewing it for Christmas this year. It’s about damn time.
9:28- Fun fact: This music was later used in Home Sweet Home, which the Snob described as the Friday the 13th theme mixed with a dying giraffe.
SpeedyEric1 I thought I remember seeing someone review this before I just couldn’t remember who
@@rexyrex1599 Yeah I was having the stragnest feeling of Deja Vu, had forgotten I had already seen Phelous review this xD
I knew I had seen a review of this movie before... it took me a while to realize this wasn't a reupload. XD
SpeedyEric1 I think it’s the same guy. Since this came before Home Sweet Home, I think he reused it in that.
Last Hess on the left.
If you can't trust Officer Polanski, who CAN you trust!
Nice touch finishing on the cat music. Best part of that whole movie.
another year and another great cinema snob year, Merry Christmas Brad
I think Angela was the killer. Makes as much sense as the movie lol. Merry Christmas and thanks for all the laughs!
the shot of the obvious dummy falling off a balcony made this video for me 😂👌
It's really awful.
Merry Christmas Snob and Mrs. Snob and Lloyd!! 🎄🎁☃️
Don't forget Chloe !
Its the Cinema Snob!
@@wstine79 Yep!
Merry Christmas ya filthy animal
U were smoochin everyone, including little Moe with the gimpy leg.
Beat me to it, John Doe.
Get down on your knees and tell me you love me!
Which is also a high-risk pick up line.
Slumber Party Massacre Meets Do Not Open Until Christmas. HOW CAN THIS POSSIBLY GO WRONG?!
Since the Greatest American Hero theme isn't allowed for the show, maybe the clip "This is either going to be a horror movie or a porn!" should be the new Cinema Snob theme
Kinda wish this film also had jarringly inappropriate bouncy catchy music. I literally LOLed when it was placed over the makeout scene
Merry Garbage Day, Brad!
It's an inky dinky doo da mornin'
inky do da
do da
Mornin'
_is decapitated_
17:48 why does he look like great value Bruce Campbell
“Spider-Man’s dead girl sense are tingling.”
Is that what happened before Gwen Stacey died?
Now I'm curious about when Lloyd and crew's album is gonna drop.
Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays Brad and family!
This film was first released on home video in 1982 by Media Home Entertainment, the same distributor who did “Alice in Wonderland”, the porno where he covered on this episode many years ago, and “Halloween”, a classic slasher film that he also covered on this episode in the past. If you are all familiar with the Media logo, here is what the opening looks like. It’s from an original VHS release of “To All A Goodnight” In 1982. This was before the Heron Communications byline was added in 1984 on later prints of this movie.

love it love it love it cinema snob seems to get better every year while still holding true to classic form ❤👍
I couldn't stop laughing at the Flintstone Kids reference.
Lloyd's like 'Fuck you, Snob, I'm taking a cat nap.'
Not sure what he said but I think it was Inchon? Has a 2.8 on IMDB and stars Olivier... I'm confused and intrigued Snob.
Merry Christmas, Brad Jones.
Got an ad for Glass before this video started. I honestly can't wait to see that thing.
Why do so many serial killers feel the need to dress up as Santa Claus?
It's a fetish 😂
Because it would be weird if they dressed up as the Easter Bunny around Christmas time XD
The red colour is perfect for masking blood stains.
The costume is cheap and widely available.
it would be weird any time of the year to dress as the easter bunny to kill yongsters
I'm so glad I found your channel. It helped me a lot during difficult times. Merry Christmas Brad! From someone who doesn't celebrate it 😄
Grungie Lucy Namaste.
I love the insertion of the music from Last House on the Left lol
I just watched this movie
a couple nights ago during
a killer Santa marathon.
Oh hey. It finally came in the mail. Took a couple of years.
But that one came in the mail by accident in that episode
What a wonderful December, the sun is out, the trees are green and the birds are singing :)
It’s obviously in a warm place there are palm trees
And here I was hoping for buttercreaming
Merry Christmas, Snob! I hope Santa brings you good movies to review.
I love the setting of the movie. The You know something bad is gonna happen
Merry Christmas to you and Mrs Jones 😊
"Yeah something is wrong, get out of my room!"
T.J.: We've gotta do something.
Melody: What?
T.J.: I don't know.
Me: Here's an idea! Why don't you . . . LEAVE??????
Yay, Monday came early again!
I hope you have a good holiday and a happy new year
Oh no! The prop dummy fell to it’s death.
Christmas came early! Thank you, Santa Snob!
Review Santa's Slay or Christmas Evil next year.
Anyway here's your milk.
This may be a terrible horror movie, but I absolutely love that line
Just in time!
Burial Ground Nights of Terror-The Best of the Cinema Snob
6:41 a weird guy tending to plants mentioning cherry pie
did this movie predict Twin Peaks?
Merry Christmas Snob, Mrs. Snob, and Lloyd!
Awesome video. As always.
I’m surprised you didn’t point out that the synthesizer beat at 9:22 is the exact same one that was used near the end of Home Sweet Home
Never heard of this movie until now. Must see. 🤘🏼😎💀🎄
Thank God this is a 1980's slasher movie, otherwise I'd have soo many questions. Also, still love that chesthair^^
A Christmas elf named Calvin finishing school for girls?
Doesn't sound like a good school
have you been to ELF practice
Merry Snobmas, Cinema Chris!
Wow, the Nerd and The Final Girl escaped? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in a paint-by-numbers horror flick before!
Thanks Snob, I needed a good laugh before going to work.
So someone *HAS* seen Inchon...
AND IT WAS YOU!
Yay! Early Christmas present!!
I hope you come back to Wisconsin I missed you this year I couldn't off of work
@10:01 "It's time for your advanced course... in relativity." Is... is she his sister? Why did she think that was a sexy line?
Merry Christmas. Love your channel
Merry Juana to all!
Had no idea until this review but this is probably the original to the movie Mrs. Claus that came out in May of this year.
Dear Cinema Snob,
Thank you for another Hilarious, Fun movie review!
As soon as I get a job, I'll donate to you as a Patreon Patron of yours!
Happy New Year's,
Doug
23:36 "Inchon"? Isn't that your favourite movie? #injoke
I really thought crazy Ralph was a reference lol
NOW WOO ME WITH A SONG!!!!
That’s got to be my favorite part
So many Quantum Leap references this year...okay, just two I can remember (the other being Persecuted which featured Dean Stockwell)...but still, I’m taking it as a sign that we’re going to get more Tequila & Bonetti DVD-Heaven soon!
Merry Christmas Snob!
Kumis is actually fermented milk alcohol. Hard Milk exists. 😂
That's seems like a lot of traveling... that I can't afford... 🙄
GARBAGE DAY! er wait.. I mean Merry Christmas Snob!!!
Snob's gonna do a video on his favorite movie. It's fitting since he did a video on Brad's favorite movie. Next should be Sara as Dudebro doing a video on hers and Dudebro's favorite movies.
Next movie is "Inchon"?
Awesome. More people need to see it or at least be introduced to it.
Did Phelous already review this? Because I could swear the Snob had already reviewed this, but apparently he didn't.
I thought the same thing.
Phelous did, yeah. I think like three or four years ago.
@@bloodybutterflygaming1242 I see.
The worst genre of bad movie is the revenge movie where they aren't really getting revenge.
Merry Christmas team snob
At first I thought i had seen this review before, because the movie looked really familiar. And then I realized that I recognized it because I saw the opening of the film on TV because we have a channel that plays horror movies and cheesy sci-fi films. XD
3:00 Oh no, a dummy fell to its death! Tragic!
When is he going to review the reboot of Silent Night, Deadly Night simply titled Silent Night?
Dead Meat did a very funny Kill Count for that last week. There are some serious kills in that one!
So this movie is Lloyd Approved? 🤔
Turns out that the colossal Christmas fuck up from SNDN Part 3 is fixed now.
Happy holiday Snob😊👍
"This is either a horror movie or a porn" Isn't that your channel motto?
Is there an easter bunny slasher film?
Yes. I don't remember the name, but I do remember reading the box of a recently-released straight-to-video horror movie a couple years ago that had a bunny-suit wearing axe murderer. Also, I think there is at least one late 90's or early 2000's era movie with some kind of mutated rabbit-monster that I think was supposed to be a horror take on the Easter Bunny.
Will Day There is one called Kottentail (2004), and there is also the bunny man trilogy which features a disfigured chainsaw welding cannibal in a rabbit suit.
I think the bunny man was the one I was thinking of. Didn't know it was a trilogy. I'd ask why they bothered, but I know that there were at least 3 movies that featured Gary Busey as a possessed-by-a-muderer-a-la-Chucky gingerbread man that stabbed horny teens, so I've stopped questioning why so awful they're hilarious horror movies keep getting even worse sequels.
@@justindenney-hall5875 And I thought I was making a joke!
@@AnInsideJoke Actually Gary Busey was only in the first gingerdead man movie and aside those three films there is also a crossover with the evil bong, and I haven't seen them yet but the three movies are "The Bunny Man" (2011), "The Bunny Man Massacre" (2014), and "Bunny Man Vengeance" (2017).
After watching Phoebus's outdated cringe video on this, this dude's humor came out to me as a masterpiece. Great vid!
Define "outdated cringe".
Hey whatcha know. He finally got to all a good night. XD it's sad they never came with sodas and spoons
i wish the music was done by David Hess, at least then the movie would have had at least 3 good songs mixed in with some wacky crap. what? I like the folksy style music in last house on the left and let's be honest: now you're all alone, wait for the rain and promised land are pretty good songs that Hess made.
Really need to get back into this channel.
11:52
Oh no, someone stepped on the pet peacock!
Careful. That's the sound of 2 elephants fucking lol!!!
Merry Christmas
Hope you talk about Pass Thru Next Year!!!
