@@elchappo1320 Since this comment, I broke suspension arms, shocks and a steering link. My local hobby shop cut me a deal on a wide kit for the same cost as repair of the stock parts since I'm a regular that basically pays the mortgage on the building, so I did install it. I still see no real reason to buy one unless you did what I did and got a discount like I did.
Love your stuff, I comp crawl and race short course. these things I just don't get. After about 2 minutes of that thing crashing every ten feet it goes away and i break out something that is interesting to drive. I can gear up my 10T to go fast, i mean fast is easy, Traxxas has been doing it since there Toys r Us days. But hey, that's what makes the hobby cool. Something for everyone. As always, have fun. I think rich D has proven that the xmaxx isn’t the toughest truck on the planet !! Period this it probably going to make this truck even more unreliable.
Personally I love the look and what's nice is if you break those parts down enough you can get pretty quick at it. So now you can have a monster truck and a more of a race type Truck in one. All good imo🤩👌
Can anyone tell me where i can find replacement parts for the Traxxas 1275kv 8s? Screw threads are gone , motor keeps on coming loose from motor mount..need to replace the lid..
Hello, I have a X maxx with trenchers on it. Currently run 45 wt oil, just bought my wide kit, what oil should I run? Don’t do much jumping, mostly sharp fast corners. I would get a lot of body roll. Haven’t put the kit on yet, What do you recommend? Thanks
well this truck has 80wt in it and it still gets body roll, until we can get a good solid swaybar, thats just what the xmaxx will do, did you see my first drive today?

Wide Maxx will be my next buy. After I'm done with this crawler build and a resto on a 24 yr old pan car. XMAXX is too big for me, its damn near as big as my Cruze.
I hate when people compare the x-maxx and the kraton , 2 completely different style truck , ment for 2 completely different things. I own a Xmaxx and my buddy owns a kraton 8s , he can't keep up with me on trailing and climbing. Speed wise ? The kraton is faster but other than that. The xmaxx is far superior in terms of Trailing/jumping/extreme bash/Rock-Hill Climbing
Have had great luck with slick 2000 grease it will not collect or hold dirt moisture and has a super hi psi its good to -200 +700 degrees very expensive 20 bucks a oz it's the best 👍✌
great video explanation, looks a well engineered product... shame the truck looks so out of proportion when it's widened. I know it'll go better than anything I own, but trucks that are nearly as wide as they are long, with "pinhead" tiny bodies don't look good. Still though, doesn't take away from a great vid 👍🍺🇬🇧
Super excited for this kit, shame it's so expensive and getting spares isn't possible right now without buying a whole new kit...That said, ,there is a difference between a bolt and a screw, half the things you called bolts were actually screws, bolts are designed to be used with nuts... don't forget DEEZ NUTZ 😉🤣
Meh. I bend the crap out of my stock driveshafts, and I would bend these even more and break arms easier. I run titanium driveshafts for that reason due to my 30ft plus jumps.

I don't have many issue with roll on my XMAXX after dialing in my suspension. Not quite sure this kit is necessary but looks fun.

It's pretty much identical. I just installed it yesterday and now my xmaxx almost looks like a kraton now lol.
5:15 looks like less meat around the hinge pin area - or is that just the camera angle ?
Hi . My traxxas 2003 emax brushed 550 titans is still running strong. 2 @ 2s lipo. I run brushed to prevent shredding gears.

the badlands are deff too heavy, but i love them great traction no ballooning and i will probably never have to replace them
I’ve been wanting to widen mine think it needs it and not use just the hub extensions.
Let’s hope they offer replacement arms lol would be rough if you gotta buy the whole pack again

Looks like your kraton rear camber needs to be adjusted as they are way out should be positive, not negative about 1.5degrees
