- Huge thanks to Mitch and Avery Looper for solving a frustrating issue I'd had with the XMaxx. This X-Series Chassis Brace is now available on the M2C Racing website. How can something so light and easily installed do so much for durability? Not sure, but it works. Thanks to Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin, CA for selling me this truck and having all the parts I've needed.
HUGE thanks to Mitch and Avery for this awesome solution 😍. So simple, yet utterly brilliant!!!! No more rebuilding the truck after huge sends and extreme use. HERE'S A LINK to the brace. Watch the M2C install video to see how easily it goes in. Bars and Tone also did a great vid about it🍻m2cracing.net/home/753-m2c-1129-x-series-chassis-brace.html
You know what's huge? It's your superwide camera lens. 20ft looks like 40ft😖
@@spike-- that's funny Karen cuz my old GoPro Hero session 4 doesn't have "superwide" like the new ones 😂. Sorry if the huge airs or camera view didn't meet your expectations 💩
@@richduperbash2966
Sure thing Cindy. 🤦 I never said you didn't get big air! Your one one of the best at landing on all four(tires).
@@spike-- sorry for my snarky reply Bro. I'm just using the same equipment for years now. I'll upgrade my camera eventually 🍻

You jump way to far for a wide lens🤷
Thank god this hobby has guys like you and M2C Racing ! Thank you !!
Thanks Jordan 🤗. It's an honor to help Mitch and Avery test and refine these Killer option parts 😍. M2C let's us bash how we want care free 😎💪👊👊
That was a phenomenal explanation of the brace buddy and just the killer run that thing took some nasty hits and green Bertha came home in one piece!
Thanks so much Brother David 😜. I tried to share my best understanding of why the chassis kept grenading on me 😝. It's the only one that made sense. I'm still AMAZED at how well the brace actually works 😱. I originally thought it was too skinny at first sight. Then the thought occured to me that it works kinda like a tension cable on a bridge. It's really just keeping the truck from pulling apart length wise. You don't need a wide piece of alloy for that because alloy doesn't pull apart 😍. Friggin genius how Mitch and Avery designed this. Your install video was AWESOME too!!!!! So stoked Green Bertha is coming home in once piece now Brother. 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
👀👀👀 a 3D Bash Bar, that's next level. 💪 BRILLIANT design again from M2C. I can't believe how quick Mitchel and Avery come up with solutions 👍👍👍
No doubt Kimberly 😍. We're lucky to have their design genius for our bashing benefit 💪. So grateful for what they do!!!! 🚀🚀
😎💪👊👊
Those backflips with orange darling are absolutely sick. You have amazing air control. Another awesome video rich
Thanks so much Jason 🤗. Truly appreciate that Brother. Orange Darling is such a high flying Beast 😍🍻😎💪👊👊
Your XMAXX has turned into a HULK!
Absolutely impressive what he is cashing in now!
Super development, extreme tests what mastery of the beast!
Can't wait to see a new episode

So yet again you send a 25+lb truck to the moon! Ian, seems to be a master craftmans building a two stage ramp like that. Simply amazing group you have there friend. And That chassis brace looks amazing and cannot wait till they are released.
Thanks so much Brother 😜!!!! The brace is available now 😱. I put a link to it above in my pinned comment. Ian is an engineer, but his wood working skills are next level 👀. He's made furniture, cabinets, and all manner of custom stuff. Truly skilled guy to be honest. Very fortunate to have such a great group of friends 🤗🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Brother you are one of the best Bashers I've ever seen and I've been in this hobby for almost 15 years now. Well driven,Bashen, and Breakin for about 12 years... Just started about 3years ago wrenching & Fixen... And that's thanks to guys like you, M2c,RcDude81,3 sons, I mean I could go on and on... I wanted to say thank u for you awesome advice and all the tests you take your time and do. Thank you Brother
Thanks so very much Eric 🤗. Truly appreciate it Brother. 🍻😎💪👊👊
I picked up my brace Tuesday and installed it. Mitch and Avery are good people who truly care about the quality of what they produce and want all of us to be able to enjoy the hobby however we like. Even if that means sending our truck 20 or more feet in the air! I was lucky enough to get my brace autographed by Mitch himself.
I'm so jealous Brian 😱. I've known Mitch for over 4 years (helping brainstorm, test, and refine parts) and we've spent countless hours on the phone and occasional FaceTime. Still haven't met in person yet 😝. It's the busy family life and thousands of miles between CA and South Carolina unfortunately. I consider him extended family 😍. He's a great man and extremely proud of his son Avery 🤗. So glad you got to meet in person. Appreciate your kind words Brother. Thank God for good people 🙏😎💪👊👊
@Rich Duperbash keep doing what you do as well the community and the world is better for it and I for one appreciate your contributions!
@@BrianRiotHobbies thanks Brother 🤗. Truly appreciate it 🍻
Absolutely EPIC Bash Test brother Rich! Bertha survived!! Hats off to Mitch and Avery their hard work paid off! Those were some of the biggest airs I've seen with the Xmaxx 👀. All collaborative time we all put in brainstorming and all the ideas we shared just to improve plastic fantastic resulted in a massive WIN beautifully displayed in this video. Well done brother! Orange Darling loves Ian's massive Ramp! One Hella Ramp 😳😍💪. Some wicked awesome floaters Bro 😍.
Thanks so very much Brother Chris 😜!!! No idea how I missed your comment Brother, but gotta say your spot on about our collective brainstorming, work, and input within our test team 👊. So stoked Mitch and Avery have such an uncanny ability to solve problems and an unparalleled level of CNC and design expertise in the hobby 😍. Thanks again for the kind words and everything you contribute to the team Brother!!! Orange Darling does love Ian's Mega ramp 🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
The indestructible mighty X-Maxx, finally met its match in Rich Duperbash, lol. Thank you for constantly bashing the hell out of every truck, Rich. And for all the innovative products from M2C Racing.
Man, you have got that Xmaxx dialed in!!! It now fly's so much better, and the fact that it doesn't shatter after a bash like that! M2C has reengineered that truck to take an extreme amount of abuse!!! Great stuff!!!!
Thanks so much Jon 😜. Several Traxxas faithfuls were trying to blame the upgrades for my breakages. Truth is we just bash hard and find weakpoints in designs. This chassis brace is a major breakthrough for overall durability no question 😱. Hopefully more guys will realize M2C has effectively taken the platform to another level.
🍻😎💪👊👊
Wearing Shorts in January must be rough. It's gonna be -10 here in Western Iowa tonight, you live the life I desire both RC and California.
Thats how I built my ramp when we were all in lock down and stores were closed i grabbed some pallets off the side the road and built mine
great video the M2C reinforcement bar is very interesting I will watch to see what it looks like it looks very good thank you for sharing
Thanks Brother 🤗. The brace works exactly as designed 😍. Stops the bulkheads from separating and prevents chassis cracks/failures. So stoked about this simple solution. 😎💪👊👊
That looks like an awesome bashing spot! Nice build!
Thanks so very much Brother 🤗
Such a fun day bro 🥳. Glad we all made it out and got to try out Ian's new ramp. Awesome to see the xmaxx stay in one piece this time 😉. I think m2c has a home run with that brace
Thanks so much Brother John 😜!!! Ian did such an incredible job with the ramp 😱🚀🚀. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I pulled up 👀. Everyone was going HUGE. Knew Ian was good at woodworking, but holy crap!!! Can't imagine how huge we could go with a straight run up ✈️. So stoked the brace is working as designed on Green Bertha 😍. Can't wait to hit Lincoln for some Mega transfers when we can connect again!!!! Hope your shin is doing better. 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
Order for the M2C X-Maxx brace has been completed! Great bash session!
Thanks Brother Victor 😜!!!! That dual jump with your XMaxx was the highlight for me 😱. Those cirrus clouds above looked so totally BADASS 😍. What a cool backdrop. You were completely sending it out there!!!! 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Ordering that m2c brace today That's a great little upgrade
Just insane 😳 ramp launches to the moon 🚀 always leaves me with my jaw dropped . Great video Rich!
Thanks so much Brother 😜. My buddy Ian did a wonderful job with the 2 piece Mega sender 😱🚀🚀
Definitely seeing that bash bar being one of the main go to for this awesome rig
No doubt Brother 😱. What a simple stroke of genius by M2C Racing 😍
Man Rich, you really make that thing look small and agile lol that's awesome man!
Thanks so much Todd 🤗. Green Bertha is moving nicely with this setup 😍🍻😎💪👊👊
Epic! thats what im talkin about!!! loved the flip pause flip at 6:20. new ramp is awesome, love it! thanks for punishing the parts!!!
Thanks so much Brother Avery 😜!!!! You and Mitch nailed it with this chassis brace 😍. No more complete rebuilds replacing chassis's 🙏. That was getting old quick. Guys are gonna LOVE these upgrade options!!!! 🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
I wish M2C would make bash bars for Arrma 6s chassis like that one guy has in the UK that just bolt on the existing chassis.
The issue with that approach is unnecessary added weight. Adding 1mm total thickness (7075) is far lighter than adding a full length stiffener bar that's several mm thick. You also lose total ground clearance. If you're landing on rocks, etc.... the bar still doesn't protect the side portions of a stamped chassis. In a nutshell, a 4mm 7075 T6 chassis is the better all around option for best performance. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 that actually makes a lot of sense, thank you!
@@whistlinlipo you bet Brother 👊

Always crazy to see a truck as massive as an XMAXX doing gigantic double backflips like that. Glad it can hold up to the task now (it would seem!)
Yes indeed Brother 😜. So grateful this new option has fortified the XMaxx for hardcore bashing!!!! Absolutely stoked M2C nailed this upgrade. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Friday couldnt start any better my dear friend. Cup of black gold, and listening when you guide us through the M2C stuff you have mounted, and been testing. Those huge sends with GB, would not only cracked the chassi but also bendt stock centre shaft. The new x centre and the chassi brace seems to be the best upgrade period for this truck when start to jump a bit. I agree 100% Avery and Mitch are 👊. The nose-dart-throttle-slip crash was hard af 😱😂, and in one pice😍, the huge sends and slaps..and still in 1 pice, that tells us a bit bout the masterminds behind M2C, and the test team.
Thank you dear Rich for providing us with awsome content ❤
Thanks so very much dear Brother Thomas 😍. We might have our morning coffee ☕ hours apart, but we definitely think a lot alike 🤗. Mitch and Avery literally nailed it first prototype with this chassis brace 😱🥰🥰. It truly makes perfect sense. Like a steel cable on a bridge, it keeps the bulkheads from pulling apart 👌. Goes on so easy, barely adds any weight, yet anchors in perfectly by design and completely changes the overall durability of the truck!!!! I'm amazed how well it's performed Brother 👀. Truly incredible. If Green Bertha was going to break, she had plenty of opportunity 😂. Nose darts galore and fairly huge hits on the wheels. The work they do and designs they come up with is literally changing the bash game 👊. Thank you so much for your kind words and support as always my friend 🤗🚀🚀😎💪👊👊

I think those wider axles are the perfect in between stock and the widemaxx kit can’t wait to get them
I agree 100% Brennan 👍. Traxxas can keep their 200$ wide kit. Still has the same crappy axel and plastic lug nut 😝. Absolutely hate the C clip retainer too. This option seems perfect. 😎💪👊👊
Awesome flogging on Green Bertha man! 👌 Straight killing it with the Xmaxx my bro!🚀💥💥💥⚡⚡⚡💯💯⚡ That chassis brace is the truth right there!
Thanks so much Brother Rocky 😜. So utterly stoked the brace is working 😍. It was getting old rebuilding Bertha doing chassis swaps. Much appreciated my friend.
🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
awesome video Rich just killing it as always. That end bell support looks great. i wish m2c made an endbell support for the arrma 6s and especially the 8s rigs with those big motors you can fit in them
Thanks so much Jesse 🤗. Mitch did an awesome job with the endbell support 😍. I'm sure will see other options soon 👀. Right now M2C is struggling to keep pace with demand. That's a good problem for them to have 🤣🍻😎💪👊👊
Good to see the new brace doing it’s job , Thunder managed to bend his but he has a bigger ramp 😂
Just love watching you send these trucks 😍👍👌👍
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. Rocky sends his rigs in the street too 😱 😂. They'll likely offer a beefier version brace, but this one works fine. Anything can be bent or broken. Just depends on the level of abuse really. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Just ordered mine! I find the VG racing springs work really well with the wide kit too
Just brilliant rich man that x Maxx and the orange darling was both ripping can't wait to get mine both out great bashing brother

You just convinced me to get one. Order confirmed before the video ended. I’m gonna be out at the pit off 65 and 12 on Saturday morning. Gotta try out a few things. lol. Now we need the dual dog bone center drive shaft set up I’ve seen from them!
Have a great time out there Brother!!!! I'm working all weekend unfortunately 😝. You'll love the new chassis brace 😍. Hopefully we'll see the X series center driveshaft on the website soon. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Nice rich👍 I'm thinking with that brace the stock driveshaft will hold up better also 🤔
Thanks Jon 🤗. You're probably right, but I'll never run stock again knowing how smooth the CVD style set-up is 😍. The brace still allows some front to rear twist between the bulkheads. A rigid shaft just doesn't make sense for this platform. 😎💪👊👊
Very cool center brace! I wonder if u could drill through the chassis and run a couple of bolts into the new end bell support Of the motor, if that would help in making the plastic chassis stiffer. If how I'm saying that makes any since?
Yes indeed Brian. I hear what your saying. Actually, if the endbell support screws ever stripped the plastic, running longer screws, washers, and nylon lock nuts to the bottom chassis might be the trick. 😎💪👊👊
Thank you for the video they’re rich I do love all the information you give us also thanks for throwing in the orange darling just love that truck so graceful
Thanks so much Aldo 😜. M2C solved the chassis problem with a simple 60$ upgrade 😱🚀🚀. So stoked I can run this truck like I want to without fear of rebuilding it every bash 🙏. Orange Darling had to try Ian's beautiful new Mega sender 😍🚀🚀😎💪👊👊

Thanks Brother 👊. Yes indeed, I'm using the 1.4mm ARRMA 8s M2C pistons. Mitch is putting an XMaxx specific piston kit together. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Be nice to have aluminum skids that the bar ties into instead of having to drill holes in plastic! Great bashing!
Thanks Jamie 🤗. Aluminum skids would add far more weight and expense. If you watch the M2C install video, you'll realize how simple it truly is. The anchor plates serve as a template for the stock skid. You just run the drill through the plate holes. I've always said the best ideas are the simplest. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 thanks for the reply.. just was an idea but this bar looks like it's working well and looks like it might be a good thing for a few of the Traxxas rigs I have the hoss and wondered if it would help support the bulk heads and bending of main drive shaft 🤔 but love your videos definitely hands down the most skilled basher because of your videos I'm looking into building my first armma rig a trugfied Typhon looks like a lot of fun and blast to drive !

Thanks Brother 🤗. Yes I'm still running M2C ARRMA 8s 1.4mm size pistons. M2C should be offering XMaxx specific piston kits soon. 😎💪👊👊
I havnt gone through your xmaxx videos yet (im building MT410), but would you say xmaxx & maxx take less or more upgrades than mt410 for R.Duper abuse? I’ve been doing this since the 80’s & you are my hero for ultimate abuse testing btw!
Thanks Brother 🤗. I too raced RC in the mid 80's as a young teen. Great memories with my brother Jim. Personally, I found I had to upgrade my MT41O chassis, braces, towers, outdrive shafts, shock caps, spur gear, standoffs, and pistons for harder bashing. So far, the Maxx has needed the fewest, but it doesn't handle great out of the box. For moderate bashing, the Tekno handles wonderfully. It's just not as brutally tough as fanboys claim. Same for the stock XMaxx. Definitely needs several upgrades for harder use. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Did you do anything to the shocks ? It seems like it’s landing really really good ? I missed the part about the springs the first time I watched.
Amazing , so much innovation by m2c !!! Genius lol
Keep up the good work brother !!!!

Simply incredible design and so much FUN having both height options 🚀🚀. Can't wait to try it doing huge transfers!!!! Looking forward to the next one my friend.
🍻😎💪👊👊
Great video that ramp is sick👊👊💯💯
Great video!! How are you keeping the body from not flying off?
Thanks so much Evan 🤗. I think the chassis support is helping stop the body from ejecting as much. Probably reduces the amount of flex between the bulkheads and towers. 😎💪👊👊
Hey Rich, I really like your video's. I was wondering where you got your car stand? Also how do you set up your shocks I'm trying to avoid chassis slap. My local skatepark killing me.
Thanks Brother 🤗. The car stand is a Ridgid flip top from Home Depot. Just put a pit mat on the surface to keep rigs from sliding around. I'm running M2C Racing XMaxx pistons with 35 weight oil and VG Racing springs. You want chassis slap even at the skatepark. Otherwise your arms and shocks get overtaxed. www.homedepot.ca/product/ridgid-flip-top-portable-work-support-stand/1000110801
Rich, I’m I need of your advice or lead me in the right direction. I just picked up a Max5 ESC and for the first 2/3 into the run it was going great. Running 2-3s youme 6200mah lipos Xmaxx was solid. Then it stopped. Temps felt low by hand barely felt warm. Then the ESC shut down
I let it sit for a few turned it on. And the ESC was blinking red very fast. I have no steering or throttle the receiver still lights up but I cannot find any where on the web or YT how to fix this issue. Can you please help?
Hey Rich, definitely gonna get the brace. Just upgraded to 1200kv, 29/50. Feel the stock tires will be toast soon. What tires do you like the best so far for jumping? Thanks.
The brace is an absolute game changer 😱. No busted chassis's for months now. I really like the 8s dBoot Backflips. Because they have less offset than stock, you really have to run the M2C +15mm extended axels and hexes for proper wheel clearance and stance. My other favorite tires are the Belted Duratrax Lockups. Just have to watch and sometimes reglue the glue beads as they sometimes have kinda weak glue from the factory. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Amazing bash bro ! Which wheel do you recommand on xmaxx between dboots backflips, copperhead and copperhead exb ?
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. I'd recommend the 8s Backflips. Pretty much the perfect size without straining the drivetrain and electronics. Some guys like the standard Copperheads. I found the Copperhead EXB 8s wheels bouncy and difficult to control mid-air. The weight and ballooning is better served on the Kraton 8s. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 Huge thanks for your quick answer man, really appreciate it !! 🤩Already have the m2c wide kit on my xmaxx, that's perfect width ! 24mm adapters are on the way so... 8s Backflips will be next !! 👊Is the foam better than garbage traxxas ones ? EPIC video Rich!!! 🤯🚀🚀 Finally Bertha held together 🤣 The chassis bar is an ingenious design. Just love how M2C has the extreme bashers back with all these upgrades 🤩 The wider hex is the best, I personally love how the Xmaxx handles now with 30mm wider 👍 Not as wide as the widemaxx but not everyone is gonna want their Xmaxx to be as wide as a Kraton 👌 That ramp is absolutely amazing 🤩 one size for long jumps and then the extra piece for massive moon launches, so much fun!! Your orange Darling at the end just handles and flys so nice. I think I need to make an XL out of my Talion soon and join the party 👍
Thanks so much Brother Aaron 😜!!!! So stoked Bertha has finally achieved hardcore basher status with the new M2C brace 😱. Still amazed it actually works so well 👀. Simple, yet very ingenious by design. Ian's Mega ramp build is a jaw dropper ✈️✈️. It turned out so perfect Brother 👀. Goes together in just minutes and isn't difficult to move or load. Brilliant craftsmanship all around. The full height set-up is pretty extreme 😂. Next time we'll do gap jumps with some sort of downramp. The height we're getting is quite harsh for flat landers. I highly recommend you make a Kraton or Talion XL 😍. It's honestly the cats meow for handling and smooth sailing and drifting and gets the power down like no other. 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Iv been waiting for someone to come out with something to widekit this truck since day one I feel it Puts it in Armma k8 category
You beast here you go again with your all time bashing bro! Rich very nice!

What did you do for the servo horn, mine keeps stripping
I haven't done anything except swap to the 1285X upgraded servo, steering link, and stiffer saver spring. 🍻
Hey Rich, I think I was the one that told you about the VG racing springs, how do you like them compared to stock? I’ve had mine for about a year and still love them
So far I'm digging them Timmy 👍. Just like with my old Slash, they're definitely more progressive than the stock slinky springs 😂. The truck rides taller and is definitely more responsive. Appreciate the suggestion Brother!!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
You are the Bash King Duper!!! 🏆🤗
Thank you Brother 🤗😎💪👊👊
What are the best wheels you’ve experienced with on the Xmaxx? Thanks I’m advance man! Love the videos 🤙
Thanks Johnny 🤗. I really like the 8s dboots Backflips 😍. They're best paired with the +15mm M2C Racing axels because they don't have much offset. About to try the new Proline MX57 Badlands soon. They're the same size as Duratrax Six Pack X's, but lighter with great compound and better rims. Could become new favorites 🍻😎💪👊👊

Hey super dude did you try new sledgehammer wheels for XMAXX from traxxas.
I'm not really interested in them to be honest. Can't trust the quality knowing how crappy the stockers were built. Also don't like the small wheel hexes. 😎💪👊👊
I wonder how long the chassis will last with the bar, Thunderrc bent one of them new Xmaxx bars. As always the best video hands down👊🏼
Definitely getting that brace. Hey, I’m running the stock 8s motor and esc. Do you know what pinion and spur I could use? I can’t get one run in without them breaking.
Yes indeed Brother 👊. I'd grab a hardened Hot Racing 50 or 46 spur and a Robinson Racing Extra Hard mod 1 pinion. They use a 12 before the different options. For example, #1220 is for a 20T hardened. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 oh that's great! Thanks for giving me the actual brand and part. Makes them easy to find. Excited to give these a shot. One more question. I'm using the high speed spur. Do you know the ratio I should get to stay where it's at. The torque and speed seem good if they would just not break lol.
@@justinf5963 the high speed spur is a 46T. I forget what size pinion is stock. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 its 54. So 46/54 is where I'm at.
M2C has 2 different center braces for the XMaxx; a smaller one and a bigger beefier one. Which one is best for durability for the XMaxx?
The bigger one is less likely to bend, but they both work the same in stopping the chassis from busting 🍻😎💪👊👊
Nice. I guess if you are going 60ft plus with the Xmaxx, that center brace would help! I'm around 26ft, so I don't think that I need it personally, unless I want to jump my X-Maxx when it's very cold outside? But then again, I don't want to go outside when it's too cold 🤣. Thanks for the video and insane jumps as usual 😂👍
Thanks so much Brother 😜. All I know is I can bash however I want now without fear of rebuilding most of the truck later 😂. I actually don't mind the wrenching, but my LHS ran out of chassis's and the time involved was kinda significant. I'm thinking this brace is stopping other known collateral issues as well. 😎💪👊👊
As Always Rich... epic launches and great driving!!!
Think M2C have nailed that centre brace just quietly.
I'm not one to add metal to a plastic RC but I think and from watching you that centre brace looks to be a winner.
I have a request though. I'm wondering if you put the standard centre drive shaft back in (Take the M2C shaft out) and run the brace in a skate park, how well the stock driveshaft would last. This I feel would be another great test.
Epic as always brother. Excuse me whilst I write down a shopping list for M2C racing parts 😁
Thanks so very much Steve 😜. I can't believe this brace works so damn well 👀😱. My truck literally split in half last time I hit my ramp at this exact spot (bash #2 I think). So stoked this simple, yet ingenious design is keeping Bertha together 😍. I don't have anymore stock braces that aren't bent like bananas 😂. While the chassis brace likely helps prevent major bends, the CVD style X-series brace is silky smooth 😍. Having 2 large bearings and articulation by design, it's a superior design for power transfer. You figure the truck is still twisting from front to back under harsh use. A rigid center shaft simply doesn't make sense. While hard to describe, I could feel a difference in how the truck drives since running the CVD setup. Going back to the stock shaft would be a serious downgrade for Green Bertha 🍻😎💪👊👊
Rich, can you make a mod list so I can just go buy it all for my xmaxx haha 😄
Have you tried the backflip big blocks or you think just stick to the 8s backflips?
Yes I have. They're great on the ARRMA's. I think they're a bit big on the XMaxx for my power setup and gearing. You might like them. Really comes down to preference.
Will this be available at hobbytown website?
Hey rich, I noticed you're not running the m2c top plate. I have the m2c top plate motor mount combo installed with your exact motor and esc setup. would you suggest running the top plate and the bottom chassis brace? Or is that too much stiffness?
I think the top plate and bottom brace would go perfect together 😉. I stopped running mine partly because fanboys claimed it was causing the truck to break 🤣. Well guess what....I broke 3 more chassis's without the top brace 😝. So stoked about this simple yet highly effective chassis brace!!!! Hence the title I chose for the video. I say go for it Brother. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Which lipos are those gens ace?
I just bought an Xmaxx and was curious what all upgrades I need to make it take all the abuse? I've order the m2c center brace and will order the drive shaft as well, is there anything else that crucial to upgrade?
Congrats Brother 👊. I recommend Traxxas HD arms (all 4) and HD front hubs, RPM rear hubs, Hot Racing diff case covers and skid tie plates. Those are the plastic flat pieces under the front and rear skid plates that lock the lower suspension mounts into place. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 thank you man! I really appreciate the quick response, I'll be shooting back to my hobby shop tomorrow. I'll get the hd arms and save them until I break the factory ones. 😁
So I’ve been waiting for the CVD styles center driveshaft that allows the center driveshaft to flex, “which is why the Xmaxx is so durable in the first place” and then M2c Racing comes out with a chassis brace that completely eliminates the purpose of the New CVD style driveshaft that allows the chassis to Flex during Hard Landings without getting bent. So in all honesty I feel like this a useless mod if you’re planning on running the x-series center driveshaft. But that’s just my opinion. Looks Sweet though!!!👍✌🏼🤜🤛
The problem with the base design is the flexible nature doesn't coexist with the stock rigid shaft and the chassis implodes once you exceed the allowable flex 😱. I replaced mine 4 times. (2 centers, 2 rears, and 1 front). The X series CVD style center driveshaft system is far superior even with controlled flex of the plastic chassis. It's butter smooth bearings and outdrive cups afford better power transfer and accommodate chassis twist from front to rear. This brace still allows flex and twist between the bulkheads, it just stops outright chassis failures caused by excessive downward flex with harder bashing. 😎💪👊👊
Nice one man when do u reckon the brace from mac will b on sale👌👍💪👃👏👌💯💥
It's already available 😱!!!! I left a link at the top in my pinned comment. 😎💪👊👊
Nice upload brother 👊👊👊 I think the xmaxx is there just about. But orange darling is stellar man😍😍. And that ramp if it doesn't hurt ur rigs it's going hurt ur guys backs 🤣🤣😜😜😜 looks heavy. But we'll made✌️✌️
Thanks so much Jordan 🤗. So grateful this simple brace appears to be the golden ticket 😱. Orange Darling was digging Ian's new Mega sender 😍. It's actually quite light for how sturdy it is. Ian and I loaded both sections into his truck no problem 👍. 2 tie downs and he was on his way home. He's able to load it alone safely. Super trick design with the brace and the ramp
🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 awesome looking forward to more footage of everything 👊👊
Duperbash got the stash in the xmaxx.
Big Rich i can only afford 1 of the two either the xmaxx or the kraton 8s. Which one you prefer? oh im getting the fireteam also. Help me out brother which one should i get?
I'm definitely in love with the Fireteam 6s 😍. Just a Killer fun all-around basher Tee. XMaxx vs K8s is tough. I think it depends on what interests you the most. Personally, I like my upgraded K8s EXB more than the XMaxx. She's far heavier and requires more power, but she's an absolute Beast 😱 that handles like a giant truggy 👌. Both trucks require upgrades (don't let anyone tell you different 😂). If you want more raw monster truck handling go with the XMaxx. With this new M2C chassis brace, my thoughts on Green Bertha have changed drastically 💪. She's become a formidable hardcore basher. Won't fly as far or ever handle as nicely like the Kraton, but is definitely super fun overall. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 thanks brother Kraton and fireteam is a must
What tires are you running dude and what the weight difference on stock tires to them
Sorry Paul, just saw you comment. I'm running the dboots Backflips 8s version 👍. They come stock on the ARRMA Outcast 8s. They're the same weight as the stock XMaxx tires. Maybe 15g heavier. 🍻
Stock out of the box do you recommend this or the outcast 8s?
Stock out of the box I'd prefer the O8s personally. It's got better electronics and handles far better. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 thank you. That’s kinda what I’m leaning towards as well.
Nice flip skills
Looking good bro 👍✌
