It amazing how far camping has evolved. I really like the shelter, it’s so convenient great for day trips too. I could see many people using this here along the Niagara parkway where people like to park their cars and picnic or relax for the day. Great video & review. 👍😊🇨🇦

I use a Backroads on my squaredrop camper--either on the back or the side. I do love it. Everyone else seems to be putting attached awnings with room attachments or 270 awnings on their teardrops, These can add 80 lbs or more to the camper. I am perfectly happy with my 12 lbs Backroads that doesn't mess up my gas mileage, because it is in my car. It is easy to set up and take down. I have had it in rain, and it kept my gear dry. I haven't had it up in heavy winds yet, though.
I really like this shelter. The privacy and room it offers in addition to your vehicle and rear hatch set up is what sold me on it. Looks pretty simple to set up as well. Thank you for the review!

Hi LB! This is a great shelter that you found. Nice and roomy. Nice screen to get air and door. I'm glad you like it better than the awning. What is the advantage of putting it against the car vs just using a tent next to the car? The only thing I can think of is a quicker setup? And it does look taller than the typical tent. Great review video!

It went through a mild windstorm a couple of months, held up perfect. I love mine

Yes with those stakes it would. The pro some I had last video was ground was frozen sold but it still stood up just fine!
