If tera gets banned, gambit won't be as broken The good thing about it is that, it's counters are also considered good while you gotta go some niche routes for palafin
The reason they let paladin in the tier is because there are a lot of mons that can naturally check it, like Ogerpon Wellspring, Rillaboom, Dozo, Sinistcha, Zapdos, Kyurem if it's banded, Alolamola etc etc There is probably a lot of mons that are being used to check it because people expect everyone to use it and thus start using things like volcanion in the video for example
It has ways to beat them too, let's say for instance we choose the banded wave crash set in rain with tera water, I can see only alolo tanking a 2HKO from that move Then there can me other sets using tera (like tera dark throat chop for bulky ghosts)

The thing is that rillaboom won't like to get hit by a wave crash under RAIN Similar for SUN team, although the drought weakens water moves but fire mons are still weak to water plus there is always coverage and team support
it is beyond me why they dont just ban tera at this point majority of the mons that either were banned from ou or are some of the best in the meta got that way because of how broken they are with tera.
I feel the main problem with palafin is the bulk up jet punch drain punch taunt set being a nightmare for bulkier teams. It’ll skew the meta too offensively I think.
If Tera goes away then things would be less volatile. Tera makes every turn feel like a 50/50 of whether or not the other Pokémon is going to set up and sweep you.
While it does have alot of "counters" in OU, most of them don't have reliable recovery, like Dozo and W-pon And even these so called counters, don't like taking banded wave crash, especially after a tera Palafin could be unstoppable on hazard and knock off spam, so i think it should be banned.
