One of the artists that is really captivating the minds of the music press at the moment - and rightly so. Undoubtedly Holly still has a cast future in music ahead though.

Ive seen this girls picture about alot. Finally listened to some of her music. Never been a fan of the techno drum patterns but Andy Stott managed to soften me up. Im still not 100% converted concerning the drum beats but the other layers of sound in this girls music are incredible. I like how she performs too. Excited to hear more.

Awe inspiring. I love how shes not lowering the tunes to any lowest common denominator to get more people involved.
Shes doing her meta-as-fuck holly herndon thing and if anyone doesnt like it they can get out.
Only critique i have is that the build ups while constructing the live tunes were definitely longer than i think they should be. Not sure how to remedy this without sacrificing quality but i definitely think keeping things going more consistently would be beneficial.
Amazing. It's just sad to see the poor high people getting confused haha

I forget what exactly but they're a type of microphone that pick up on sound in a different way, she's using vibration from the laptop or something, there's an interview where she explains I think in a video

The Nephologist has to report that this rates high in the originality stakes variation of textures, timbres and intervals certainly excites - us cloud spotters are used to originality and to infinite variation so this floats our boat - crack on Holly and look forward to meeting you on the other side.

I love it. She's doing some really complex things with her voice, and her software. It's brave (sounds great to me), and it's really great to see more experimental edm amongst the house-clones.

from an artistic level, it's really awesome, but as a set this doesn't engage. I think that she would benefit from working with someone dropping beats, and she making her magic upon the sound, but it's only my shitty idea on how make this set more enjoyable :)

If I paid to watch a Boiler Room show and this shit is what happened I would be salty as fuck. Yeah, she has a unique sound, yeah, it's cool, but making people wait 20+ minutes while you pull something out of your ass is just disrespectful. Especially for roughly 5 minutes of something that you could actually jam to. If you have an awesome production process like this, that's great, just don't make everyone in attendance suffer because you have an issue with not getting enough attention.
