You can get a prescription and buy a hard chamber for home. A lot of chronic illnesses respond well to lower pressure to treat long term. Soft chamber go up to 1.5 - 1.6 ATA. - 1.5 ATA being much more common than 1.6.
Where can I buy a 2.0 -2.5 home use hard shell and do you train in California? Do I need a prescription and what diagnosis are covered for a prescription.
I tried HBOT at a wellness clinic in Utah for $75 a session, which is not bad compared to Virginia is $150 a session. My sister owns one as part of her wellness business and is renting it for $75 a day which is obviously a way better deal so I am going to try that now.
How is the right pressure determined? I have been going to a spa and have had at least 12 1 hour sessions. It's a chamber that can accommodate someone in a wheelchair. So it's pretty large. I just lay in there breathing oxygen through a canular. But I don't know what the pressure is set at. Based on what you're saying here I didn't do enough sessions. I didn't feel like I got any benefit from it. I was also using a red light bed along with HOCATT therapy. With an equal amount of sessions. It sounds like the pressure setting is big, and should be set per a person's needs. I'm a pretty active 69-year-old. I don't feel like I have enough oxygen in my legs most of the time, and recovery after working out or playing Golf is a problem. Always sore for days after.
Yes the pressure is important, as is the number of sessions and the frequency of those sessions. Check out this video for more info on that: ruclips.net/video/A9qNrXBkuKk/видео.html If you're doing HBOT at a spa, it's likely in a soft chamber which will be 1.3 atmospheres. Higher pressures require a hard chamber. If you'd like a consultation to get help with a protocol that's specific to your situation, email us at support@hbotusa.com
Sounds like you need a consultation with an MD to diagnose the problem- and then find a well qualified healthcare practitioner to provide the treatment. Not a spa.
The lower the pressure, the longer time you need to get results, but soft chambers are great for long-term treatments/preventative maintenance. Higher pressures are generally for emergency situations .... and come at slightly higher risks (hence why you need a doc usually after 1.6 ata)
Thanks so much for all that you do. And thank you for responding to my email so promptly. We are hoping to purchase a home unit soon as we have no clinics close to us. And we'll be contacting you for that.😉👍
Generally speaking, sleep apnea is not a contraindication for HBOT. The only thing to keep in mind is that you should NOT be sleeping while the chamber is pressurizing or depressurizing. So make sure you're awake during those phases of treatment.
I have never had that happen. It should not happen as long as everything is set properly The only reason I can think of is if there is a little air pocket in the there that expands as you ascend back up from pressure at the end of a session.
@@HBOTUSA - How would you suggest getting the prescription? From the same place you are getting therapy at? Wouldn't they want you to continue to come to them for sessions though, and be reluctant to write a script?
Apparently it does in combination with metabolic treatment. Look up Dr. Seyfried. That’s why I’m here- trying to figure out HBOT. They use 2.5atm in the protocol I believe. Oxygen or ROS supposedly as effective as radiation but more targeted to cancer only end doesn’t mess with healthy cells.
Pregnancy is on the relative contraindication list. Mostly due to lack of research. Some countries approve use during pregnancy some do not. Either way used post for recovery is a definite yes
More options and access? I’ve been struggling for four months trying to figure out how to get HBOT before my daughter dies. She has risk taking behavior and dangerous things that she was never ever like this before her two very serious concussions. Everyone says they don’t cover it and it’s really hard to find and get & afford.
As a TBI survivor, I can tell you it’s life saving or life changing. Do everything you can to raise the funds- including go fund me, car washes etc etc.
Generally speaking Hbot reduces swelling, edema and inflammation. It also stimulates fibroblasts and collagen synthesis for soft tissue healing. I strongly recommend working with someone that can help design a protocol for you to get the most out of this therapy.
There is a person in another video comment section that said her insurance did. I asked her which one, just now, maybe she will reply. You can find it on channel Wellness Daddy, video called "I tried 60 days of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (my insane results) ". Maybe she replies. Good luck!
Thank you for this amazingly informative channel! Is a soft chamber (1.3-1.5 ata) sufficient with ME/CFS or longcovid? I'm in a country where at home soft chamber is the only option.

Don’t know the answer but I can tell you from experience - Fenben and Ivermectin work miracles with prostate cancer.

NO. oxygen is a Drug. Oxygen has blinded children in the past. NO preggers women in that.
