    Soft chamber HBOT stopped my daily migraines within 2 sessions. It also took away my shoulder pain from a partial torn rotator cuff within 4 sessions. It gave me a lot more energy, mental clarity, helped me with anxiety, gives me hope and a positive attitude, makes my skin glow for an hour after I'm out of the HBOT, and just makes me a more positive and energetic person. I've NEVER tried the hard chamber, but the soft chamber is giving me so many benefits and its so much cheaper than the hard chamber that I'll probably just keep using the soft chamber.

    So, one thing not talked about in this video, is possible side effects at different pressures. I've read studies that indicate most side effects happen at 2ATM and above. In the UK, we generally have 1.5ATM soft chambers, so above the 1.3 that you mention. You mention that increase in pressure and increase in oxygen, means greater ATP output. But, surely there's a limit to how much more energy can be produced through just an increase in oxygen. Is this limit reached at a feed of 100% oxygen at 1.5ATM or maybe at 2ATM? How do they measure the mitochondrial response? I provide red light therapy bed and full Spectrum IR Sauna in my place in order to improve cellular energy and I recommend this prior to using HBOT in order to amplify the benefits. The next step is to provide a PEMF mat. Definitely more studies are required!

    • @lillylilly4518
      @lillylilly4518 8 месяцев назад

      interesting! Could you maybe go into more detail? So you rec first red light therapy/ IR Sauna, then HBOT followed by PEMF mat? was just thinking yesterday which flow would be the best. How long are you using each and much time to you pause without each session or do you just jump from IR to HBOT to PEMF without breaks?

    • @dheanan
      @dheanan 8 месяцев назад

      It's all about the cellular pathway of energy production within the cells. The light therapy assists with the third stage, cytochrome 3 production and the hyperbaric feeds the cell with high levels of oxygen to increase ATP energy produced by the cell. It is our of the other, or all right before oxygen therapy. The light therapies penetrate different levels so it's nice to mix. The pemf is just a proven option to do this before oxygen therapy.

      Another expert said that at 2 atm your blood absorbs so much oxygen it could supply the body even if you didn't have any blood cells. So this is where the function of the dissolved pure oxygen starts to surpass the blood cell oxygen. Maybe it means that the blood is no longer the highest O2 pressure but the plasma between cells is saturated.

    • @HBOTUSA
      @HBOTUSA  Год назад +6

      These are typically designed as flow through chambers meaning the compressor runs the entire length of the session and this helps the chamber vent unwanted gases throughout the session. There should not be a large increase in co2 inside the chamber if all the components are working well. Lastly the rise in co2 is specifically dangerous at a pressure of oxygen of 2.0 and greater as it increases the risk of oxygen toxicity. This is not the case at 1.3. Hope that helps!

    • @straxxxxxx
      @straxxxxxx Год назад +1

      If CO2 is accumulating in the chamber then I guess this is a design flaw. All exhaled air should be directly moved out if the chamber.

      @@HBOTUSA The risk of oxygen toxicity can be significantly decreased by profiting from the hyperoxic-hypoxic paradox. I.e. you breathe 100% O2 for only 15 minutes, then 5 minutes of 21% O2 in repeated cycles.

    Any validity to the thought process of going to a clinic with a 2 ATA chamber w/O2 initially with the thinking that the mitochondria etc will open up better at the 2ATA pressure, THEN being able to follow up (or MAINTAIN) with a 1.3 ATA unit at home? I doubt it would greatly increase superoxide. You would still be using a low amount of oxygen compared to exercise or sauna. The difference should be that more oxygen would be getting into small blood vessels, blood vessels where there is some resistance to flow, and tissues that oxygenate poorly like cartilage, and bone. And I disagree that if there was much more superoxide, that, that would be beneficial. If there is not a balance between superoxide dismutase and superoxide, a great deal of damage could result. But, like I said, I don't think that is what is happening.

    I have a question. please correct me if i am wrong. At sea level standing outside we live in one atmoshperic pressure ( 1 ATA ). In 1 ATA pressure there is about 21% oxygen that we breath. In a soft shell hyperbaric chamber it adds .3 or 30% more to 1 ATA pressure equalling 1.3 ATA.
    That 30% or .3 increase in 1 ATA pressure in a soft shell hyperbaric chamber only yields a 7% increase in oxygen not 30%.
    In other words in a soft shell Hyperbaric Chamber the total oxygen % at 1.3 atmospheric pressure is about 28%. Just a 7% increase of what we breath normally

    • @HBOTUSA
      @HBOTUSA  Год назад +5

      The % of oxygen in the air does not change with pressure (whether you're at 3 ATAs or way up in the mountains). Air is 21% oxygen. It's the pressure that drives how much oxygen you're able to absorb. At 1.3 ATA, you're able to absorb approx. 30% more oxygen, because that increased pressure dissolves additional oxygen into the plasma of your blood, which isn't possible at 1 ATA.

    Hello. I've been following all your videos and I have a personal soft chamber at home. 1 question that I cant find anywhere about HBOT is in relations to heavy metal. Im assuming that the o2 will increase cellular membrane voltage, which will pull the positive ions like mercury and lead outside the cell and into the blood, but usually, in a chealation therapy, you need a binding agent like dmsa, dmps, ala to bind to the toxins in the blood do.the kidneys can push it out. Im wondering if you had an opinion on this. I'm worried that doing hbot without taking a chealation agent will swish the mercury inside my body and dump it more into the brain. Would love your opinion on the subject

    • @HBOTUSA

Low dose DMSA + ALA every 4 h for 56 hours then 4 days OFF, then repeat, but i'm worried that the dmsa, ala + HBOT will pull too many metals at the time, would that be too much?
      And if I do HBOT 1h a day (1.3 ATA at 90% O2), should I do a softer chelator, like bentonite clay, chlorella but do it everyday? Should I time the chelator 1h or 2 before I do my HBOT? Or should I simply do the Cutler's protocol? Should I NOT do HBOT on my days off? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    I would like to buy a 1.5 atm soft chamber for general health and energy but am still not 100% convinced that the benefits are a clinically significant when compared to using a High Flow Oxygen Concentrator in normobaric conditions? I say this only because I have read a number of studies on various conditions that show little difference between Mild HBOT and NBOT - admittedly there are also studies that show superiority with HBOT at 1.5 atm although I accept this is too simplistic as there are numerous different health conditions with unique variables. Many studies assessing Mild HBOT use 21% air at 1 atm as a control group which I think is a limitation since you have two variables to consider (O2% x Pressure) when analyzing differences. Surely these studies should always use a Normobaric Hyperoxic group at 100% O2 because then the only variable being considered would be pressure and it would be easier to assess the effectiveness of Soft chambers? Normobaric Hyperoxia (100% 02) increases the amount of dissolved oxygen in plasma by a factor of approx 5.6 compared with breathing 21% air at 1 atm (1.7 ml/dL vs 0.3 ml/dL) which explains why breathing 100% oxygen at normal pressure has so much medical benefit. As for Soft HBOT, 100% O2 at 1.5 atm results in about 2.75 mL/dL plasma of dissolved oxygen which presumably means a bigger diffusion gradient in to tissues. My questions to you is - would this +1 ml/dL difference in dissolved Oxygen between NBOT (100%) and HBOT (100% @ 1.5 atm) produce far superior results in general health when assessed over 2-3 months of daily or twice daily use? @HBOTUSA  Год назад +1

      Yes we have a video on lyme, which you can view here: ruclips.net/video/fWwiJgQcvrU/видео.html
      This is not medical advice (you'd need to set up a consultation by emailing us at support@hbotusa.com for that), but generally speaking we typically treat chronic Lyme at lower pressures, like 1.5 ATA to 2.0 ATA, depending on the symptoms someone has. But soft chambers are not able to go to these pressures (they max out at 1.3 ATA). That's not to say someone couldn't see some benefits using 1.3, but you likely wouldn't see the same results that a slightly higher pressure could yield.

    Hi everyone, excuse my ignorance, but why a chamber? If what is required is higher pressure in the lungs to absorb more oxygen, and at the same time higher percentage of oxygen a musk with a tank will do the job, right? Why would it be necessary to get the entire body under pressure? Does it have to do with equalizing inside and outside of the lungs to avoid damage?

    In my country up to 1.5atm they call ot NORMOBARIC. To achieve good result the atmosphere is
    40% O2
    2% CO2
    0.5% H2
    It's safe, anyone can use in their homes.
    It's cheaper. Round 20.000$
    You may stay over night in it.
    To miss to mention CO2 and H2 content is to miss the difference between normobaric and hyperbaric.
    If it's 1.3atm with O2 only then it's not equal effect to HBOT. But when it's O2, CO2 & H2 at 1.5atm then it does the job.
    It's like comparing apple and orange.
    Both are fruits. Not the same.

    also if a cancer cell does not used respiration (It only ferments glucose & glutamine) how does the oxygen get into a cancerous cell to increase ROS in a cancer cell?

    After seeing the Israelis research regarding lengthening of telomeres from Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, I've investigated on less expensive options to achieve the same goal. I've wondered if the LiveO2 system which increases the concentration of O2 to be used during high intensity stationary exercise (Stationary bike, elliptical, etc.) would achieve the same results of lengthening telomeres? I haven't been able to find any research in this area. DO you have any insight? Thanks very much!

    Just found out about your channel and immediately subscribed. I have lots of questions about the use of HBOT to treat cancer. I am following Professor Seyfried's protocol. He recommends 2.4 or above ATA. I do not have that kind of pressure available to me locally. Max they are offering is 2.0 ATA cranked up to possible 2.2ATA.
    I was told the 3.0ATA machines which are capable of doing 2.4-2.6 are only available in hospitals. Is that correct? I can go to Los Angels to do the high ATA HBOT but do not know where to look.
