I really enjoyed your guys first trip through Vietnam with Cheveyo's dad, but you guys have made big tech advancements that just give a fuller picture. Between the drone, mic'ed up on the bike, and the animated map showing your route, it's really enhanced the overall feel of this trip. The work your putting in to channel really shows and as always, loving the content.
that was one heartfelt episode. i think one of the shortcomings of those of us that grew up in the western world is we don’t have many opportunities to see our inner core threatened. abraham maslow’s hierarchy of needs told us what human life’s basics are, but that alone doesn’t give us experiences to examine them. well done.
Back in 2018, my wife and I were in Sapa...and Ha Long Bay only 6 weeks before she suddenly passed, so those episodes are going to bring a mixture of emotions. I know you will do them both justice. Beautiful country and it's people..which I know will leave permanent memories in your heart.
Loving the filming style of this series, making us feel like we’re on the bike with you guys - I’ve never felt so much tension and anxiety watching a travel vlog, feeling and sensing every pot-hole, tight bend, foggy vision and freezing ankle and I’ve never felt so much relief to find you safe, eating hot food at the top of the mountain. I can really empathise too with Tia as I know what it’s like to be on a bike (behind my hubby) on a bumpy road with a bursting bladder and nowhere to pull over and no way to cross your legs - the agony is real! 😬 Tia btw is doing a premium job of commentary while negotiating narrow, foreign, winding roads - multi-tasking at it’s finest! The helmet cam and audio as well as the drone views is professional quality! Keep safe you crazy kids!
Riding in Vietnam has been on my bucket list for a long time but the older I get, the less likely it is that it will happen. Thank you for taking me along on your ride 👌🏽
Amazing. Amazing. I am VNese and I have no idea about these places. I have never come there, have never experinced those moments. You are introducing VN to VNese, woaahh. You simply cannot enjoy these moments if you were on a guided tour. Travel safe and keep updating us your progress.
your videos are so refreshing. most people would be complaining about all you go through but you guys have such positive attitude in your approach. i love it,
I started following you on your last trip in Vietnam because I wanted to see what the bike trip was like for my son and his two friends because he hardly took photos and definitely no videos, and now I get to see the rest of his trip. So thank you again. I’m especially enjoying the commentary as you ride. My daughter and boyfriend are actually flying over today but just for a weeks holiday down south for two hard working people that need a break and want to eat delicious food, explore a little and enjoy the warmer weather. My son’s girlfriend was up north last year with a group of friends whose families were from Vietnam, and she mentioned their plans for Sapa which I had never heard of. It seems it’s becoming a popular destination for Australians.
Wow, the views at the beginning were absolutely stunning! Fingers crossed that you guys are the vloggers to ride the Dinosaur Spine since you're already in Ta Xua Nature Reserve.
Veggies are really good in the north.. I think it’s the cold weather. Love the hotpot. You guys make me want to go on bike trip and I don’t know how to ride.
Stunning scenery just magic! Best way to learn about the country is to travel it 🌳🌳 loving watching you both riding thru Vietnam 🇻🇳 it’s certainly gorgeous in the mountains ⛰️ sockless Chev mustn’t feel the 🥶 lol 😂
Tia is the kingpin of your travel adventures . . Her infectious smile and enthusiasm for life overcomes any hardships that are encountered. Keep on keeping on. ( and old English saying)
Hello to the three of you. Tia i love listenung to you on the bike feel like i am riding with you. Thank you so you are very sweet. Stay safe and enjoy your time togeather with Dad. 😊👍🙏
When it comes to chicken-foot or pig knuckle, Vietnamese eat them with beer thinking the gelatin is good for their skin and ligament. And it's fun to chew chilling out with beer and jokes. Dad's attitude is like ready for any thing, no matter what good or bad. He's taking time to enjoy and explore.
I absolutely love your guys enthusiasm for everything you do. I never realised how beautiful Vietnam was , thank you for all the work you put in. OMG how cheap is it to do things and stay places over there. Lots of love from an Aussie fan
My friend and I had a phrase for all the natural beauty on motorcycling around northern Vietnam - “More GREEN stuff!” It was just awesome! BTW, when we went to Uzbekistan, and saw all the incredible mosques, our phrase was “More BLUE stuff!” 😅
So happy that you guys chose to come back to that now if you think about it this is a great place to explore and gain more and subscribers plus everything is so cheap and affordable you could stay here so long and have so many adventures. 🍻🍻👍👍
Another fun watch traveling along with you guys and the scenery is so beautiful. Good to see you were only charged local price for the ferry trip. I think the running (on bike) commentary is a pleasant aspect to the videos. Loved the reference to dental floss for the size of the rope holding the cow/water buffalo 😀.
Such stunning scenery and the drone vision just takes it up a notch...love it. Your all doing an amazing job avoiding animals, people, trucks, other motor bikes, rain, fog ...no wonder your so tired at the end of each day!
Really doing a great job. Your investing in your equipment and your skills are really elevating your vlogs. And what better place to show off you efforts than Vietnam. Such a diverse and stunning country.
I don’t think I’m brave enough to ride a bike around Vietnam ~ so these videos are the best! Loving everything, the view, the food, Tia’s commentary ♥️♥️♥️
Have you guys visited Ninh Binh yet? Ninh Binh is a must-see, it's like Ha Long on land. If you guys visit, go on a tour boat in Trang An, Ninh Binh. Its scenery is breathtaking, the most beautiful destination of Vietnam.
If you eat chicken feet the wrong way, you have to dip the chicken feet with salt, pepper, and lemon, then drink beer 😊 i from Việt Nam. Good luck for your trip!
@@OnePackWanderers FMD! Ignore them! You keep everything so politically neutral..... but there always needs to be one numpty, who wants to raise the Trans-card! And there's nothing wrong with your hair! Keep bringing us fab Vlogs of far away places, so we can forget all this crazy identity politics. Please take care on the road to sapa. It's absolutely feral. I'm thinking of you all. If in doubt pullover! Ps: There was a Pizza place there in the square at Sapa when I was there in 2008/09. Hands down the best pizza I have ever had, anywhere in the world. I put it down to them using Buffalo Mozzarella cheese.
If it rains, go slowly, check the tires for good grip. Remember to honk your horn when passing a large truck, at intersections, intersections, and turns. In Vietnam honking comfortably is not disrespectful. 😊
Glad you guys are visiting SAPA. We were there in March. I highly suggest you visiting Fansipan above the clouds. It's about 800 meters higher than Machu Pichu. Highest peak in SE Asia. Amazing views.
I love your videos so much as I travel vicariously around the world with you. I do admit to being worried that something bad had happened as this video was a bit overdue. I am incredibly impressed by Tia's motor cycle riding. I am quite sure I couldn't do it. Kudos to you!
Tia for audio scale. Thank you for visiting Northern Vietnam. I am worried about the dog outside the door from the place that served hotpot. Hope everyone is doing well.
I’m early this time! Was anticipating this video Edit: Can’t believe that went by so fast. I couldn’t tell but I hope you guys had the low beams on the whole time you were inside the fog. It could’ve been dangerous if vehicles of the opposite lane weren’t able to detect you. Have well-deserved rest, although I certainly don’t want 14:54 to be truth 😂
I think what actually happened is that because you did your homework and knew how much to pay, they couldn't capitalize on confusion and just accepted that. That's usually the case, if you have the right amount ready, people won't bother to rip you off. You were in charge of the communication, Tia, so there was no window at all to try to rip you off. I think that is the key in general, be informed and be in charge. Independent of language that basically draws you to them as a local.
Just curious. Are you guys currently in VN? If so then yall should be careful driving around in the North. There are currently way more rain than usual and landslides happens a lot, be safe out there, if you're happening to be riding up/down a hill and some strangers want you to stop you should be because they might be noticing that there might be a landslide that's going to happen soon near the area. Always on the look out.
I feel like I need a bike helmet ⛑️ for the next vlog ,to get the best experience 😂 I once ate chicken feet too....to my Chinese neighbors amusement I ate the bones and all 🤦🏼♂️🤣. Stay safe guys 🌺🌺🌺👋🇳🇿
I want to ride North Vietnam but I have an Aussie licence, how do you go with insurance given US and AU cant legally drive or ride in Vietnam? I have ridden in Saigon and parts of the south years ago and took my chances but as you get older you start to worry more.
I say don't worry about it. In the worst situation, just give police 200k VND and you can continue with your trip. In most cases, they just ignore foreign riders.
You can get an International licence before you leave. It’s also a good idea to get travel insurance before you depart. Always a good idea to be prepared.
