So glad to see Neuer soing amazing this season. Surely top 5 goalkeepers in the world this season. I have watched lot of games this season and he was phenomenal like in his prime. It’s just a shame that Buffon is getting old and is downgrading...But now Neuer is approaching that stage as Buffon did since 2012.Everyone tought Buffon prime was gonna end but he suprised everyone and proved what a legend he is. Like Van der Saar or even Lev Yashin himself, Gigi Buffon is still a worldclass goalkeeper at an age considered to be old even for goalkeepers! Also like those two legends, Gigi also has worldclass sportsmanship. I love Gigi so much and unlike Cristiano he didn't disappoint the fans when Juve visited Korea and played against K League Allstars. In fact, we never expected him to act so professionally and friendly to the Korean fans especially he has a bad memory of the 2002 World Cup when Korea beat Italy, knocking them out of the tournament(as someone who watched the 02 World Cup live as a kid AND again as a grownup, I can safely say that I can understand the reason for controversy but also there's no denying that our national team DID play really good as a team and we never seem to be able to play in an organized manner like that since lol)(Props to other Juve players too, but Cristiano never even mentioned Korea in his Insta, didn't meet the fans and didn't even warm up for substitition, didn't play at all while every fan chanted his name during the whole game. We never know why) Massive respect to Gigi Buffon, he is definitely the second coming of Yashin both on the pitch and off the pitch. A super agile, super smart and super brave goalkeeper to an old age, a player with amazing loyalty to one team, a charismatic leader and lover of the game, fellow athletes and fans, and someone whose presence who you just cannot ignore. And of course, both are all-time great goalkeepers. Hats off to Manu Neuer too, definitely the best keeper in the world now, he deserves to be the second keeper ever to win a Ballon d'Or. It is always a joy to watch him make saves, rush out and sweep and even make insane dribbles or passes.
