Suggestion - What if Martha failed to defeat the Master? Either she never escapes the valiant or she dies travelling the Earth before she can spread the message to enough people. What would then happen when the Daleks steal the Earth? Could it be the Master who defeats them? How would Dalek Caan's prophecy change? Would Rose still come back, and would Donna still have a part to play?
as soon as the doctor died, the whole timeline would unravel since 12th doctor saved davros from death so all of the daleks would dissapear from time, after which there would be no reason for him to use the delta wave in the first place
@@forcedalek if I remember correctly, he was completely surrounded by hand mines, and I believe it’s implied that the doctor would have materialised the tardis around him to save him (I don’t remember exactly), something a soldier wouldn’t have been able to help with. It also would explain why the daleks never shoot to kill the doctor, especially since they developed a good understanding of time during the time war. Then again, the paradigm daleks did knowingly lock him in the pandorica which would have stopped the doctor from saving davros (of course ending the whole universe in the process) but it’s either a plot hole, those specific daleks didn’t know about it or you are right and davros would have been saved anyway. Interesting to think about either way

I think the Cult of Skaro would've escaped, even if it was just Dalek Sec. Which means the events of Daleks in Manhatten/Evolution of the Daleks would've succeded, erasing the present day completely

This is a much better S2 idea than the actual S2. I would propose that The Doctor is thought to he dead in parting of the ways and then finally re-shows up in doomsday after a whole season away, but this time he's obviously David Tennant and has a new face and nobody recognises him. Plus keeping the ending where he loses Rose to parralel earth would still have an impact because they would spend a whole season trying to reunite, thinking eachother were dead. Then as soon as The Doctor finds Rose he has to lose her. Would be better than wll the lovey stuff we got in the realy S2
I've always been fascinated by "What if the fake-out regeneration in The Lie of the Land was real?" And a couple of other suggestions: What if 12 stayed blind for the rest of his life? What if 13 decided to follow Ruth after Fugitive of the Judoon?
Don't think it would've changed much if 12 stayed blind. The sonic sunglasses would pull him through pretty much every episode that remains. His only real struggle seemed to be with reading things and I don't recall that being a problem in any remaining episodes.
Suggestion - What if The Master regenerated at the end of series 3. I think it’s an interesting idea since Missy is a version of The Master that is actually redeemable and is really into her friendship with The Doctor. Also I feel like she love The Time Lord Victorious.
I dunno, Turn Left was explicitely written to showcase how absolutely awful everything would have been without The Doctor. Half of England was eradicated and the country was under martial law, Torchwood was destroyed (UNIT too if I remember the episode correctly), 60 million Americans are killed by the Adipose thing. The Sontaran invasion is only stopped by the actions of Captain Jack, who would have died alongside The Doctor in this timeline. I dunno, I don't really buy that not only would all those things have gone better if The Doctor had died earlier, even though they were so much worse with him dying a little later, but also somehow Torchwood would have dealt with the Dalek/Cyberman invasion more quickly without The Doctor, giving the cult of Skaro less time to escape. Let's give our hero some credit! It's a fun thought experiment though, and I enjoyed the video! Obviously this is all in the spirit of fun and shouldn't be taken that seriously

When that is all happening The Doctor could of still returned. If the Master returned, then I'm sure the Time Lords can resurect the Doctor. In the last part, Rose could be in there too and as the clock is nearing detonation, the sound of a TARDIS materialising shocks the room, especially Rose as she slowly turns her head to see a new updated TARDIS with Eccelston's Doctor coming out the TARDIS as soon as it landed. In typical Doctor fashion, he stops it from happening and saves the day. With Rose mumbeling in completley confusion, the Doctor explains everything to her. The Doctor uses his Sonic to send the TARDIS he arrived in, back to Gallifrey and enters his trusty old Type 40 TARDIS. And has mixed feelings as Mr Smith as the TARDIS's on board computer, but as he learns of Sarah Jane's death, he grows silent... with a tear falling down his face, surpressing what he feels and making sure that Rose doesn't see this. Out of respect and honur for SJM, he welcomes Mr Smith as the TARDIS's main computer and him and Rose go of on thier adventures in usuall fashion.
I did consider having the war Doctor come into things and save 9, but it felt a little bit too far fetched as I was aiming to keep this episode more grounded, love your ideas though!

I have a weird idea but what if the 6th doctor had the 12th doctors character arc I would have loved to see what might have happened But a what if for modern who would be what if the 10th doctor resisted regeneration like the 12th doctor or what if the 11th doctor died on trensalore
So as discussed, its up to you how the events in the past can be carried out, either we have it that the events in the past don't happen, or Mr Smith alerts rose and the crew and they use the Tardis to travel back and sort them out

True but to be fair the doctor arrived fairly quickly, what’s to say a Kaled soldier wouldn’t have came along to help
