- In this tutorial I will try to model realistic cloth wrinkles without cloth simulation, we will use Cinema 4D`s powerful deformers and noise to get that effect.

your latest tutorials are out of this world man, so useful content
Thanks man.
This video would have been perfect for a project that I was working on, where the client wanted a text in shapes as balloons. Thank you for sharing.
Super
Wow man that displacer restriction trick is so useful! Thanks a lot man!
Thanks!
Wow, I really needed this one! Thanks!
Awesome tutorial!! Keep them coming!! cheers!
Hyper interessant. Merci beaucoup, vos vidéos sont très précieuse. Merci
It should be noted that your stretched noise deformer to create folds will not work properly if you polygon geometry is square. They need to be rectangular lengthwise in the direction of the folds.
Awesome tutorial!
Yeah you are right
@@polygonpenI could notice it also, texture projection wrapping around doesn't work. Maybe we need UVs for that. Pin that comment, it will help people not getting frustrated.
Amazing tutorial, dude you nail it every time I watch your tutorials.
Thank you very much :)
Best tutorials on the planet!
you have some of the best tutorials on youtube keep dropping these modeling courses my man
Thank you Jim
Wow, thanks for letting us know how the restriction tag works. Didn't know this.. Really helpful!!!
Awesome tip. You deserve more views and likes. Thanks.
Thanks :)
Thank you for this
I had no idea you could use a field for a displacement falloff. That just opened up a world of possibilities.
Yeah, there are many alternative ways to model in C4D.
you are a Master lol
we want more tut on industrial products modeling with c4d
thanks
Awesome, ever since I found your channel, it has been a place for me to learn more advanced tricks. Thank you for this
Great technique. Thank you!
A very useful tut, thank you!
thanks man great tutorial
Nice! Best part is the ending ;p
Haha :D
I love this technique. I use vertex maps with the vertex map node in octane to paint in displacement, bump, and additional coloration on textures. I really like this method, and haven't thought about how it could be used with deformers. I'd be interested in seeing if there's a way to bake that high poly mesh into a displacement or normal map and wrap it onto a lower poly object.
Great and very realistic! thanks
Best tutorial!
Thans for the great tip. Very useful.
Brilliant! Very easy to follow.
Thanks
Nice tutorial ! Thanks for sharing
Subbed man you have really helpful things here ❤️🔥🔥
Thank you, welcome :)

Thank you very much
Thank you!
Nice tutorial!
Magic!
Epic
great job!
Thanks!
Hello. I've found out that C4D R23 and later versions have removed the Paint Tool from Character window, so I'm stuck at the painting step. Could you please make another video of this tutorial for these new versions, or guide me how to do this using new tools? I'd appreciate that. Thank you so much.
Hey, the newer ones have the paint tool, if you can't find it just search it ( SHIFT + C )
@@polygonpen oh yes I found it. Thank you so much.
Good!
thanks bro.. here's a like..
Very cool.
Awesome!
Genius!
I wish i could give you a million likes!... i have been wondering how i can add cloth wrinkles to my models and voilà... thanks a million
Thank you :) awesome
Thanks. Nice
Now I know why you don't have any dislikes :) thanks!
Haha Thanks
nice dude
Amazing, thanks for these tips, I normally do this in substance painter, may I ask you which hotkey did you use to blur it?
Press shift and paint.
@@polygonpen Thank you Sir!
My Weight Tool doesn't paint at all... any suggestions? It's set to Add, Strength 100%, Brush Radius 75. Thanks!
It may act weirdly sometimes, try to do it again.
good
Muhteşem 👌👌👌
The paint tool for the vertex weigth is missing in s24 do you know where is it? pls :(
No, it is still there, under selection menu.
2:20 I dont have same this hic...
Hi bro any phone model tutorial
Maybe soon.
eline sağlık
Tesekkurler:)
@@polygonpen türkçe filan sakın yapma abi. yemin ederim değmez. ne kıymet bilirler ne vefa. zaten diğer türkler gelir bok atar anca. sakın abi aman. ne zorluklarla bu iş öğrenilir zerre haberleri yok. kıymet bilmek diye bir şey zaten yok. sevgiler dostum
Sagolasin, oyle bisey dusunuyordum ama oyle diyince bi kafam karisti
@@polygonpen gerek yok hiç emeklerine yazık
Peki, aklimda tutucam.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
When I have my selection and click set vertex weight, I do not get the red and yellow weights. Nothing happens at all... anyone have any idea why this is happening?
Are you sure you are on point mode.
@@polygonpen Yep! I am on point mode but only get the highlighted points and no yellow and red shading. I still went ahead and tried to use the paint tool and it does nothing. Maybe I have a setting turned off?
Are you sure you select "Set Vertex weight", not "Set Selection", It should turn red even if you don`t select any points
how to get this effect in maya ???
I am not sure, sorry :(
What no dislikes
yay :)
@@polygonpen maybe you are Russian hacker who hacked RUclips
может быть
@@polygonpen не понял
