Isn't there one too few Level 1 pieces for the normal level?
This is a great game! It can be super simple or more involved,
there is a lot of ways to alter the rules to make the game faster/easier(kids/drunks) or longer/harder(adults/hardcore gamers)!
Highly recommended.
Thank you, so much! Outstanding video and walkthrough!
Thank you so much for posting this walkthrough. I’ve been playing by myself for a few rounds and this explains it really well. 👍🏻
Aw you're welcome ♡
Great tutorial... but just for curiosity... How many yellow pieces do you have in your box? I suppose to use more than 10 yellow pieces (4 to block, 6 to IA and 1 for me), but there's only 10 pieces of each type in my box. lol!
I'll use mix with other kind of pieces to block the piles.
Same problem here. I use the Level 2 pieces, but it seems to be the kickstarter set on the video… and after multiples solo games, Jack is always wins-_-
Same problem. I only have 10 yellow pieces
Same. I wouldn't have purchased this game if I knew it didn't have enough pieces to play the advertised solo variant. I'm very irritated.
Interesting solo challenge that I think many solo players at all age levels will like. Great explanation, couldn't be more clear than that. Biggest obstacles in getting people to enjoy new games are knowing the rules and knowing if it will be fun. I also hope to see you do more game collaborations with other game enthusiasts this year!
Thanks so much! I hope so, too ♡
Thanks for sharing!
Very tempted by this one. Update. Won in raffle at game group. Solo kills me every time though.
Can any game every be truly played solo when you have a cat?
Yes, but you will lose.
Hahahaha true dat!
Thanks for that - v helpful
Not Jack. Rather El Cid. Love all your videos.
Oh my god, she is gorgeous. Thanks for the video.
I have one question. You said you can draw blind instead of from the grid but I do not find that anywhere in the rule book. Is there an upgrade to the rules?
From the "Solo Variant - Your Turn" section of the rulebook (pg 9):
"You may still take puzzles from the draw deck instead of taking one from the puzzle grid. If you do, the pieces above the grid do not move."
Great video! There's no such rule in the rulebook allowing to take a puzzle from the pile though.
How does he have pieces in his supply if you're supposed to remove them from the game? At the beginning of the video there are 4 locks, then you removed 3 from the game, then later you added 3 from his supply, making a total of 6 locks. But where did those 3 locks in his supply come from?
From the "Solo Variant - Setup" section of the rulebook:
"Step 8: Place a number of level-1 pieces into your opponent's supply based on your chosen difficulty level:
Normal - 6 pieces
Hard - 3 pieces
Unbeatable - 0 pieces"
@@geoffreyhawley503 I see. Thanks!
Ist bestimmt super erklärt. Leider verstehe ich nicht so gut Englisch.
