I get chills because unlike in other MCU movies. Things similar to this actually happen. children are actually trafficked, brain washed, and forced to become soldiers.
Part of the reason why i love the black widow spies so much is their relatability in this aspect, how they went through involuntary Hysterectomy, a lot of girls went through something similar like fgm including me, in my country it’s even obligatory for newborn female babies to undergo gen!tal mutilation and it’s truly heartbreaking how no one ever sees how messed up it is, but this part of their story empowers me so much
They're also forced to be famous. There are famous people who are made to be in order to "influence" the way their owners say to. There are celebrities who are "agents"
@@lunasmissingshoes5372 yes it's absolutely disgusting how people compare male circumcision with female mutilation and call it the same thing. If you cut off the head of their penises THEN you can compare the two.
Sadly, this was what Black Widow should have been. A movie that we got instead was essentially Natasha passing the Black Widow mantle to Yelena. Not that that was a bad movie or shouldn't have been done, but a movie about Natasha and her time with the Red Room was what we waited for all these years. The movie we got should have been Black Widow 2, the sequel to the story of Natasha and her escape from the Red Room.
@@hectisch1727 Fair point, but an entertainment media company could just make something that is only suitable for certain audiences. But that would mean a movie or movie showing that can't be sold to as many potential customers and thus, certain works may be watered down so they can be offered to as many viewers as possible for maximum potential profit.
I don't understand why everyone hated Black Widow, I fricking love the movie. It introduced one of my fav characters (Yelena) and FINALLY gave us a movie starring Natasha Romanoff. I stand by what I said, and I am ready to fight anyone who says otherwise.
The red room has and will always be one of my fav concepts in the MCU, like the pure psychological horror and torment that goes on in the red room and just the unsettling thought that sticks with you the entire time that things like this ACTUALLY HAPPEN in real life makes you feel sick and horrified and the way they portrayed it was SOOOOO cool! The ballet, the repetitions, sinking deep into their brains and draining them of all humanity is what makes the red room so unnerving and I loved the part where younger Nat is fighting to protect her sister :( Also the fact that they start as classes of 20 and end with 1 is just so dark especially due to the fact there are so many girls there, so many dead. I wish wish WISH they got into it more and pushed the limits of the psychological horror aspect of the red room.
@itz Luke Why ? Clearly is perfect for us and you’re opinion won’t matter the negative side of you’re opinion is ridiculous, the director and the writer worked hard for the movie and everyone that participated were incredible even the actors so a little more of respect for my one of my favs

We can like or dislike the movie but this edit is truly a masterpiece. I feel like it has conveyed all the emotions the movie tried to..it's hauntingly beautiful
The movie is actually taken from Whats reality is about some people who is in that situation, so disliking would be cant accepting harsh truth or just plain stupid
I loved Black Widow but I felt ROBBED when they didn’t elaborate more on the red room and Natashas back story, like, just imagine. R rated psychological thriller Sucker punch vibes but actually done well Uuughhh I just want the absolutely BRUTAL truths about Nats past
Black Widow was more than just Natasha Romanov though. Such a complex character, you would never fit her sole backstory into one movie. But it sheds light on then very human side to her that she was reluctant to open up about, Hawkeye being the first and last person to see her beyond being Black Widow.
The moment she appeared in Iron Man 2, I wanted Black Widow to have her own solo film in all 3 phases. They say it's the Big 3 (Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor) but it's always been the Big 4 for me since Nat's been at the core of the Avengers just like Steve and Tony.
This movie was amazing, idc, idc, idc. I have never met a single Taskmaster fan until this movie came out and then suddenly a swarm of people who suddenly love the character emerged to shit on this movie because he wasn’t a man. It’s not a perfect movie but it conveys so many messages about institutionalization, and how it affects so many people in different ways. Yelena, Natasha, Mileena, even Alexi who was just a pawn. They were all used as pawns for a cause they never fully understood until it was too late. I will forever appreciate everyone who was a part of making Black Widow because it is one of my favorite McU movies of all time.
I love this video. I love that they put this remake of the song in the movie. It surprised me and fit well. I love that KillerQueen liked it too and made this edit!! 🤯
Oh… my… gosh. YOU ARE SO UNDERRATED! Oh my gosh… This is INCREDIBLE!!!!! The timing of the scenes, everything hitting beats and stuff… wow… absolutely AMAZING! Well done! Great job!!!
I know it's a movie, but the fact that Alexei and Melina willingly subjected both their daughters to this breaks my heart. I think it's because I know it happens in real life; innocent children with no one to defend them are stolen from their homes and trafficked or oftentimes, their own parents sell them for a wad of cash. They're stripped of their childhood and humanity and they endure hell on earth, without anyone to protect them or get them out of there, without anyone to avenge them and bring to justice those that did that to them.
God this edit really makes the whole thing hit so much harder- ALSO LOKI AT THE END HURT SO MUCH! Like it’s so accurate to every widow, this edit is so perfectly amazing and it hurts so deeply.
This amazing edit makes me 1) wish Marvel released this movie earlier and 2) want a Black Widow prequel to explain more of the Red Room's past cause WOW
I read that Ever Anderson (the actress) was picked to play that character largely because she knew how to speak Russian. Of course, she is Milla Jovovich's daughter, and Milla speaks Russian (her mom was Russian), so whatever Russian Ever has learned, it makes sense it was accurately spoken. 💜😎
Well, I just watched Black Widow for the first time and I can confidently say that this the darkest, heaviest and somehow saddest movie of all the MCU ! To me personally the reason why it feels this way is simply because it is based on trues events ; children’s trafficking (over 2 millions each year), brain washing orphans in order to make them soldier, Russians spies that went as far as creating families during the Cold War and even years after, women and young girls all around the world forced into a destiny they did not choose (in North Korea such things as training young girls to make them, well, basically what we see in the movie does exist and probably in other countries as well…)and so the list goes on. The topics in this movie are very difficult because they do resonate with very somber and disturbing part of our world. I am also quite disappointed we did not get to see more of Natasha’s past in the red room cause it is very intriguing and insightful in regards of who she is. But still very great movie !
