I got one......Vault 8 was supposed to have 2 G.E.C.K.s and due to a clerical error, one of those G.E.C.K.s ended up in Vault 13 while Vault 8 ended up with hundreds of years of water chips that they didn't need at all. So Fallout 1 would've probably never happened if not for that error
But then cheaped out.

That would be so sick! Wasteland 3 is takes place in Colorado and it’s basically fallout so I definitely recommend it if you haven’t played already!

It’ll just depend on if they want to take a second crack at the Midwest and maybe tie up some loose ends over what happened, if the game is ever canon enough to where SOMETHING happened from the game.

Tactics is unironically my favorite fall out game wish it was canon
I recommend wasteland 3 if you haven’t played that yet. It reminds me of tactics but way more refined plus the story and the lore are a 10/10.👌👌
I ended up uniting all the different humanoid types, Loved it. I wish it could have been cannon. Could have let to a very interesting BOS civil war and an new “county” to push back on or work with the new California Republic

As far as I was aware, it kinda sorta is. The whole airship crash, schism in the brotherhood and such are part of the backstory of 3. That's also why Maxson has the airship in 4
@@copo2835 the way things went and many specific people and places in tactics are not canon, but some things that happemed in it is. Like a story that was based one a few pieces of truth
So on top of building Skynet in FO2 they built its cousin in Vault 0… ok so we all know that this is impossible from a legal standpoint but this already sound more fleshed out than the institute and would make a hell of a DLC.

@@mouseblackcat5263 Don’t get me wrong I love the mechanist with a passion but I’m talking…oh wait no that would have made that DLC kick ass. What if the automatron DLC had the Mechanist go head to head with a legitimate rouge AI from one of the vaults? Like a previously undiscovered vault in the glowing sea. It’s already under used as is.

@@twinslive. In all honesty the only real gripe I have about it is that I wish there was more to do with them. Outside of the main story they really don't have enough actual side quests and were a rather large victim of the radiant quest system that was a problem for FO4. That being said the implementation of it in the story was also kinda thin from the plot.
Vault-tec has one of the best good guys but evil behind close doors arcs. Reminds me of real life business like Disney

That's kinda why New Vegas is so hardcore, that computer could connect to all the others. You can shut it down, work with it, manipulate it... Now it's just 76, I guess I'm old now

They took in all the geniuses except those left in the Big MT facility. There were dozens of scientists besides the Think Tank, but apparently they all died in the great war while the Think Tank scooped out their brains.

Ahh. Fallout Tactics lore. I loved that game, even I hate that it was mission to mission and not open world as F1 and F2 were. Too bad it struggle to hold up today due to massive glitch issues. (like the encounter rate on the overworld map)
I wish there was one along the 1-5 stretch between Portland and Seattle. It would be amazing to have other people see what this area looks like when nature takes back. Also, sasquatch

This isn't canon, but something like Vault 0 has to be. In canon Vault-Tec set up all these crazy long-term experiments - who did they expect to collect the results? A headquarters of some kind, filled with nerds, designed to operate for hundreds of years, simply has to be canon.
Maybe Bethesda will call that place "Vault 0" or maybe they'll call it something else, but something like this has to be canonical.
Vault Tec's Ultimate goal was Space Travel and the Vault's were experiments of scenarios of situations in space or when they finally colonized a new world. I believe there has to be a central location for Vault-Tec separate from the Enclave Vying for control. Hell, I have a theory that Samuel of Foundation is a secret Vault-Tec Executive on assignment to watch the Appalachian Vaults and their progress.

It's broadstrokes canon, mentions of it in Fallout 3. But if the robots and mutants fought over there is a question. The Brotherhood was there but could have been wiped out.

Funnier even is that the "greatest minds in the USA" includes a corn star for some reason.
This is a neat idea, though I feel a "vault 0" should have explicitly been where the vault tec CEO's personal vault with all the people they needed in order to observe every other vaults progress.
I think there was a vault in tactics that had vault tec higher ups, but I don't think it mentioned the CEO or focussed specifically on monitoring stuff like vault 11s progress.
I know vault 11 was from a much later game, it was just the first that came to mind when thinking of vaults that had a social experiment.
This has to be the realest thing to happen in fallout literally building a failsafe for humanity and the fat cats decided "eh to costly to actually do it right."

I really hope they take some of the lore from Fallout tactics and Brotherhood of Steel and make it canon- I really wanna see Cheyanne mountain (vault 0) in one of the newer games

I think ship price increases are great. The grind to get there feels a lot more rewarding, but this also encourage people to play with others who either have the ship or play with people to take on higher reward missions.
