Just came across this channel in the last few days. I'm enjoying all the videos and learning as I watch. I love the joy you get with every hook up! It's an infectious laugh you have Marcin! I haven't yet managed to hook a pike (or mullet or bass!!) on the fly yet. I'll keep trying...
I am fairly sure I had Vision Koski in this video. Also I find Wychwood Gorge very good. the flippers are from decathlon and they come in one size but you can adjust them
Another great video Marcin 👍 maybe try feathering the cast before the mouse hits the water, it should straighten the lure out and keep it away from your leader.
Thanks mate, unfortunately it doesn't work for me. Seems best if just let hit the water at full speed. Between this and the tail catching hooks it's really annoying. Shame, such a good lure that...
@@MarcinKantor also use a multiplier or bait caster. Much smoother feathering using your thumb. Using the spinning reel makes the lure tumble. This drove me crazy with the pig shads. With the multi you never loose tension during casts. Like a yo yo 😂. Great vids bud keep them coming.
@@aaronmaughan1 thanks for the heads up. I've a hate / hate relationship with casting gear lol had two attempts at it, a couple of weeks each time, and very soon I was selling the gear :) just doesn't work for me, hate the shorten casting, although agree with all the pros you said. Still I find much more comfy with the spinning gearl. Although I must say, the Penn slammer 3 is a beast and until I got it with extra heavy rod, it wasn't quite right. It's really, really nice now. But then again, after forgetting how much I hate the baitcasting, I am getting drawn back to thinking about it and giving it a 3rd go LOL
@@MarcinKantor what is the rod your using. Looking for a heavy spinning setup for guests that don’t like the upside down reels 😂. Yes I understand some people just don’t like bait casters.

Great video Marcin, as usual. Do you think you get more action with fly compare to regular lures? Never tried fly fishing, but Miuras mouse is one of my favourite lures, it’s a big fish catcher🎣
Thank you Adrian. Yes, I'd say so, but it's partially because the flies I use are smaller that Miuras Mouse or other big lures and therefore more small fish will hit it, whereas big lures are more selective. Why not pinch your barbs for easy removal of your hook out of the fishes mouth?
I do it for all trebles on lures, 50/50 on single hooks still. The problems with flies were more about the fly hair tangling in their teeth tho
