Oven -made hard boiled eggs: I preheat the oven to 325 F then put eggs in a muffin pan in the oven for 30 mins. I then use a spoon to transfer them to an ice-water bath for 10 mins. Super easy to peel! If you put them in the fridge still in the shells, they are not so easy to peel later.

To one the idea of using an oven to bake eggs for 30 minutes might be preferable but to someone else who doesn’t have 30 minutes to spare they would like to boil 6-8 eggs in 8-10 minutes from the beginning to the end. 4:28 Don’t throw away the skins!!! I make vegan bakun («bacon») snacks of them (often do many almonds at a time, so I have lots of peels or I save up a little at a time until I have a good batch). I let them dry first. I then make a bakun marinade from worchestershire sauce, soy sauce, maple syrup etc. and let the almond peels soak it up. Finally I dehydrate the skins - usually in the oven on very low. It is dangerously good!!! It’s also great to put on top of a salad or something that could use that little extra flavor and crunch. Or just eat it as is, in place of chips or whatever. I promise you one thing, they won’t last long!!! Almond peels are precious!!! 😋😋😋

If the stem does not easily come out, don't force it. It's not ripe. But avocados ripen after they fall from the tree, so the unripe ones will ripen over time. Putting them in a bowl of flour or a dark drawer helps them ripen.
