Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Put a whole (unopened) egg in each individual cup of a 12-cup muffin pan. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove and immediately place in an ice water bath. Allow the eggs to cool, and then peel.

Your youngest fan Bethany loved your new video 😁 ( I wrote to you as she is just 5 and loves watching your show, her favourite is the one with the mini eggs) she especially loves the twisted cucumber. She told me I'm not allowed to put the eggs in the oven because she loves cracking them into the pan 😂😂🥰😂 she's actually really good at that and gets no shell bits ever!!
This video was filled with especially good ideas. I used two of your great tips for dinner last night. I used the jar-and-shake method to take the husk off a whole head of garlic, then I floured and rinsed my mushrooms! Thanks for helping in the kitchen. 😊

That is true, mate. What I thought I’d do though, is to pop a carton of eggs in the oven at the same time as i bake my goods. I usually have boiled eggs in the fridge ready for snacks , so now I have a way to save energy by cooking them in with my other baking rather than extra gas to boil them
Hi Gail put your medium sized eggs in a kettle, bring it to the boil, leave the eggs in the boiling water for 15 minutes, then take them out, put them in cold water, perfect hard boiled eggs. Quails eggs i leave in the boiled water for just 5 minutes. It's one of Web Spoons tips on another video.😘
Love your spoon and canned foods tip ! I was using a table knife and then put a pot holder in top of the can to,prevent hurting my hand… your method is way easier and better….
Thank you for the dumplings shapes. I make Varenikis once a year with about 10 different fillings and freeze them. I'm always looking for different shapes to easily identify them by fillings.
Oven -made hard boiled eggs: I preheat the oven to 325 F then put eggs in a muffin pan in the oven for 30 mins. I then use a spoon to transfer them to an ice-water bath for 10 mins. Super easy to peel! If you put them in the fridge still in the shells, they are not so easy to peel later.
Massive waste of energy. Don't use the freshest eggs and they will peel easily. Stir while boiling to center yolks. Boil and you can have hard-boiled eggs in 5-7 minutes instead of wasting time and energy heating up the oven.
@@ShroudedinLovePlease have an understanding that people have different ways to do things. We don’t need to put down anyone who has different ideas. They are not “finding faults”. To one the idea of using an oven to bake eggs for 30 minutes might be preferable but to someone else who doesn’t have 30 minutes to spare they would like to boil 6-8 eggs in 8-10 minutes from the beginning to the end. And the water after boiling eggs can be used for cooking other dishes.

4:28 Don’t throw away the skins!!! I make vegan bakun («bacon») snacks of them (often do many almonds at a time, so I have lots of peels or I save up a little at a time until I have a good batch). I let them dry first. I then make a bakun marinade from worchestershire sauce, soy sauce, maple syrup etc. and let the almond peels soak it up. Finally I dehydrate the skins - usually in the oven on very low. It is dangerously good!!! It’s also great to put on top of a salad or something that could use that little extra flavor and crunch. Or just eat it as is, in place of chips or whatever. I promise you one thing, they won’t last long!!! Almond peels are precious!!! 😋😋😋
Thank you for the information, especially with the avocado. I didn’t realize that if you pull out the stem, it will tell you whether it was ripe or not. I think this will make things a lot easier for me to choose the right one. And I like the other ones you did too. I always enjoy your videos. They are so informative thank you very much for posting.❤
These ideas are all good, practical, solutions to everyday problems in the kitchen! You quickly present solutions and don't drag on and on. You're very organized! Appreciate you!
If the stem does not easily come out, don't force it. It's not ripe. But avocados ripen after they fall from the tree, so the unripe ones will ripen over time. Putting them in a bowl of flour or a dark drawer helps them ripen.
I really appreciated your tips on choosing good avocados and pineapples! I have NEVER known how to do it properly so didn’t buy them. I sure will now! Thank you!

10 mins boiling an egg is more cost efficient than the oven being on for 30
Also didn't say what temp for eggs in oven. If I'm cooking something else I could cook eggs at same time to make it more energy efficient.
