- This week we finished the worlds fastest micro jet boat! We installed a faster aftermarket jet ski impeller, wired up some premium light bars and got the whole mini jet boat wrapped to match our dream camper at CW Wraps in North Idaho www.cwwraps.com/

The six year old, I baby-sit on weekends, is now screaming about wanting a pink boat like this! What every six year old (who get frightened when she ride her OWN bicycle too fast) needs!
I was a bit skeptical at the start, not sure about covering up that beautiful aluminum body. But that came out better than I could have hoped. Each build is better than the last, I'm super hyped for this giant secret project.
At least it's just a wrap so if they miss the bare aluminum they can peel it off real quick or change the color.

As you change the angle of the fins, you are either making the prop more high geared or more low geared-- Just like a sprocket on a motorcycle. If they are saying that the prop is more "performance at acceleration" -- they just mean that it's geared lower, so it will also have a lower top speed. Just something to realize

Pretty cool. I hope the wrap doesn't prematurely peel off, being he started at the front & worked his way to the back. Exactly opposite how I think it should be layered. That's like descaling a fish & expecting it to glide smooth.

No way! I was just in Sandpoint for airplane training about a month ago. The boat ramp at the beginning looked familiar, then I realized I fished it. I've been watching the build and didn't read the description until today.

Pink isn't on my all-time list of colours but it works. I would love to see some kind of black, white, silver, chrome, or anything kinda matt or dull with a pink accent. The pink being in some kind of super shinny style of paint.

Yea there’s two types of guys in this world.. guys who like what other men like and guys who like men.. not a clue why they’d do that to the boat unless they really do grind hard on plumbing.. dunno why .. I mean the Barbie keep was funny I thought but they seriously wanted to do the bar by keep for personal reasons. Not to mention I’ve never seen any wife or lady friends.. so starting to put one and one together now.. i mean not a big deal but beating around the bush on letting it be known.. or beating around the tree.. or something.. lol

Its going to be a whole new monster with the reeds and especially the impeller! It needs to be properly rallied on a river with some shallow spots and rapids!

@@calholli what your changing is the leading and trailing edges of the impeller. We were doing this with a hitch homemade impeller holder and using a torch with a wrench to do this at the marina. Hey we didn’t have any shop close when testing. Here’s a video to get the idea

It's amazing when you put those nice props in how tight the tolerance is between the impellers and the stator,, some actually sound like a knife just touching the tube until it breaks in👍👍

My last project, I used a 13/18 variable pitch Solaris prop, they are nice units. Extended ride plate is gonna be a necessity, Run it out as close to the pump as you can get. I used pump wedges that stacked but you can also shim the ride plate on the rear as well.

For your weight and balance try pointing jet nozzle a few degres down. It should help with that jumpy bow. Awesome build!

on high-speed jet boats they have a plate just in front of the water intake that is shaped a bit like an upside-down backward wing, my understanding is it causes the water going over it to curve upward and into the intake to reduce cavitation at high speed.
That’s so wild and cool! Can’t wait to see it in person 😮

My smallest boat build was 11' 6" X 6' . 20 degrees deadrise. 25 kts with 25 hp outboard in open ocean. Love your micro jet boat. If you build another, try to get a sharper knuckle at the stem. I think it would porpoise less.

In some of the footage, the wrap looks to be CocaCola red. It's only in certain lighting conditions that the pink really pops. It'll be interesting to see it outside. They did a lovely job on the wrap and the decals though, whatever colour it looks.👍😁

Just a suggestion, but you guys seem like you'd be able to build something like those Lazaerth Wuzuma quads- A 4-wheeler with a big engine that you sit on and not much else. Seems like it would be up your alley and a cool street machine build!

You should take the restrictions of the reed valves , makes a big difference by letting more air in , not many people do this and they say you aren’t supposed to but I’ve raced 2 strokes all my years
