vocals are the most misunderstood part of this art. It sounds really cool, and so people believe that it's really hard to sing like "them dethcor fellas". But the truth is - extreme vocal techinque is easy. You do not believe, try yourself - ten days of practice and you'll sound just the same as this singer.
the real thing about vocals is endurance, it's how long you can perform without significant change in your voice.

Wrong, to an extent. It's all about a message. But in a sense yeah, the bigger portion is about the writing of the music and how brutal the vocals are. But imo it's better when you have the sick ass song structure with the insane vocals
