Color me surprised. For a kit-bash starship, it's as maneuverable as the Millennium Falcon, and can pack quite the oversized punch. This is one ship the Vorta would not like to see on their sensors.
Okay so the front of the ship is intrepid class. Someone obviously saw the very first episode of Voyager and said let's do a mashup. Because like I said, the front of the ship is intrepid class. The actual warp nacelles themselves are basically intrepid class. But everything else on the back end is a maquis raider. Someone took Janeway's ship and Chakotay's ship and just shoved them together.
I love the Yeager. So well named. It can wax the fanny of any Federation starship of its era. It can wipe out a trio of Jem’Hadar easily, looping around and hitting them from above without a single torpedo fired.
😨Wow Admiral.. the Yeager was tough gosh against Voyager and took it out and longer for the Ent D.. but wow I forgot was this powerful. and yes, noticed the Aro Shuttle, hmm too bad that could not detach lol. yes looks front Voy, back Maquis, Nacelles, hmm I forgot lol but very fast and capable.. gosh.. noticed that small red light under the saucer, is that the deflector, eeh. oh my lol ! loved the battle Admiral..!😊🖖
Ya Voyager is the 2nd most mary sue starship in the series, next to the defiant. Except for finale voyager, deus ex machina the starship at that point.
There's coffee in that kitbash. I actually think it would be hilarious if the "full spread" on the Generations galaxy was just 1 torpedo. Yes I'm still salty about that scene.
I still firmly believe the loss of 1701D was due to gross incompetence of her command crew. They knew how to rotate shield frequencies. And even with no shields, The Galaxy class should have had more than enough fire power to bury a Bird of prey. It was sad.
@@aaronatwood9298 Oh it's so much worse than that. Their actions were dictated by forces beyond their control, by beings many times more powerful than Q. They're called writers
@@Jarsia 🤣😂🤣😂 If they wanted to get rid of 1701-D they should have had kirk fly off in it to save the day and die that way. Instead of that BS in terms of kirks death and death of the D. Should have had Nick Meyer Direct it and Nemesis. Definitely would have not had that kind of trash.
@@aaronatwood9298 Yeah, there's a million ways they could have handled it better, but it's been 30 years, and we got what we got. It is what it is. At least we got Picard S3 to make up for it.
RIP Chuck (Yeager). When I was young, I always wanted to be a hotshot pilot. It's probably why I liked Archer so much. It's no wonder it was called the Yeager... Chuck once took out a whole squadron (5) of German fighters alone. His squad was pissed that he didn't radio them for the fight. His response: Sorry guys, there weren't enough kr**ts to go around. 😆
The Yeager....one of those "WTF is that!?" reactions after seeing this ship for the first time. I don't think a Maquis and Intrepid saucers would ever be able to be joined...somehow they made it work. It just totally looks out of proportion scale wise... I was like, "Holy crap!" when I saw the Yeager taking out Voyager as quickly as it did. I never would have expected to see that. I surely thought Voyager would wipe the floor with the Yeager...guess I was wrong. Clint Eastwood: Do I feel lucky.....well do ya......punk!? I'm pretty sure the aero shuttle on the Yeager is cannon. I too was impressed with the Yeager. Definitely can stand on its own in a fight. I was blown away (no pun intended) with how quickly it took out Voyager. I wonder if the Yeager had some armor since it took a punishment of 20 photon torpedoes from a Galaxy Class.
Yes proportion wise it isn't right. An interesting what if though. It must have had armour. It's the only explanation. It was newer than the Intrepid Class. It surprised me how many torpedoes it could fire! 🖖
If you were fighting the Picard Galaxy , you wouldn't have stand a chance. They would have manoeuvred out of your torpedoes, until you go dry. Only 18 left in this fight... xD
Of course this misses the Yeager's party piece. Which is it's ability to render the opposing ship's crew combat ineffective due to the hysterical laughter.
Yeager calss - very nimble and fast. Good outplayed the bigger ships. Can you please tell where you source all these mods? I bought the game two days ago because of this vids and have installed the BC remasterd mod. But i want all 22nd century ships and some more.
The yeager was kitbashed SPECIFICALLY for the Dominion war. Of course it's powerful! It would be bloody useless if it couldn't take a kicking. Think what happened to the Odyssey?!
Ah yes, the bastard child of the Intrepid and a Condor raider. Its weird that the Yeager doesn't have a forward torpedo launcher, it feels wrong. It also feels wrong that it can beat Voyager so easily. Beating a Galaxy class is just wrong though.
Yes! It does look like a mixture of Maquis and Voyager. The first time I saw it, I thought it could be from an alternate story. Where Voyager was so badly damaged after being whisked to the Delta Quadrant, they had to combine it with bits from the Maquis ship.
@@RetroBadgerGaming That would have been so cool! There would have been something so poetic about both the crew AND the ship being part Starfleet and part Maquis.
(just seeing the title not seeing it yet) Oh Voyager BETTER win this. EDIT: Eh, well Voyager was never much of a fighter till much later in the series. Season one voyager barely made it.
I don't think I am a fan of the Generations 1701-D. Its torpedoes are so slow that it is constructively less powerful than the other Galaxy variants. Its torpedoes are easily evaded, it takes too long to fire them leaving the ships forward launchers vulnerable to attack and it actually delivers fewer torpedoes per minute because the volley is so slow.
damn damn i know the jaeger could win she wiped the floor with a intrepid class and even was able do defeat a galaxy class i am impressed. i mean it is a bit ugly but has his own charme i would fly proud with a jaeger class.
0:50 Of course. From what I understand the Yeager was the original hero ship for "Voyager" where the USS Voyager and the Val Jean were both damaged and they had to merge the ships. They didn't like that idea, however.
I'd be curious to know how balanced the game actually is. And how realistic and faithful to the series/movies it is. Something tells me things are a bit off.
Way too overpowered. I doubt a nasty looking kitbash like that would be that powerful. Maybe as powerful as the Intrepid class (though that's stretching it a bit). At any rate, I wouldn't necessarily take this one into account... since it was only a background vessel and therefore probably not necessarily part of canon.
Must've been all that dim cinematic lighting on the Generations era Galaxy. They couldn't see the fire torpedo button.

Impressive that Yeager is the most maneuverable ship ever...try it vs an Akira next please
Janeway didn’t have her coffee ☕️ power torpedo, ready😅😅
lol... Coffee makes the Galaxy go around.
2:08 you call it "maneuverability". I call it "randomly going round and round".
Made me dizzy.
The pilot was drunk
The kit bash model would have had an aeroshuttle outline on it so... yes, canon.

Deanna Troi on the Enterprise while it's being attacked. I sense great hostility from them Captain. The bridge crew: ...
much as I love the Yeager, in canon Voyager would have this easy, with all of its crazy mods.
Ya Voyager is the 2nd most mary sue starship in the series, next to the defiant. Except for finale voyager, deus ex machina the starship at that point.
Okay, that was ridiculously fun! What an unexpected little ugly badass LOL
The sheer amount of torpedoes that the Galaxy class can fire always impresses me

Galaxy class beats it badly. Took you a long time to finally get the galaxy class, but when you were the galaxy class it was over very quickly.

I don't believe so, Added to the list 🖖
wow, stupidly overpowered

I do love that purpose built amalgamation of madness.
like the Romulan Holo murader... idk i scored a direct hit.. i didnt oh shit happens! lol Ty for the video and LLAP!
Would love to see you do Voyager against the Yeagar. You should be able to win.
The Yeager class is a heavy striker. Fly in with a large phaser blast and shoot a wall of torpedos in your wake.
Dam there Sensor array didnt want to stay down for the count lol
Did you try it while playing as the Intrepid?
Impressive little ship!
The Spin to Win kitbash.
I legit thought the USS Yeager was going to get 'graped' by Voyagers plot armor.

They are all on Gamefront 🖖
In Ghosts mod for Star Trek Armada 2 the Yeager class is used to deploy Federation marines onto enemy ships and stations.
Cool! 🖖
Be interesting to see a yeager vs the defiant
I had no idea that Yeager was so powerful and tough
It's everything a Klingon heavy cruiser should be.
Next, lets see a Runabout destroy a Borg cube.
🤣🤣 One of Janeway's many shuttles could probably do it. I wonder how a fleet of Runabouts would do against a cube?
The yeager was kitbashed SPECIFICALLY for the Dominion war. Of course it's powerful! It would be bloody useless if it couldn't take a kicking.
Think what happened to the Odyssey?!
Yeager looks like it could seperate along with the areo shuttle
How is a Galaxy Class phasers unable to reach out as far as the Yeager class
Would a ship of that size really be able to out range the phasers of a galaxy class with it's own?
Captain from In Diana Jones. 😏
Ah yes, the bastard child of the Intrepid and a Condor raider.
Its weird that the Yeager doesn't have a forward torpedo launcher, it feels wrong. It also feels wrong that it can beat Voyager so easily. Beating a Galaxy class is just wrong though.
I bet the new Tibereon Hvy Destroyer or the VANAHEIM can seriously put gun and maneuver the yeager
If that was the tv show, Janeway & the crew would have beamed over to the Yeager. Sending that ships crew onto the beaten voyager
Wait where’s the Voyager VS Yaeger?
Please re-do both sides. I want to see if Aunt Kathy can earn her revenge.
Prroper kitbash ship,,spacedock loves this ship
Ah, USS Frankenstein again😅
So like if Voyager were cut off at the neck and rebuilt by the Maquis?
Boom vs the warbird
I know its not a fan favorite but I like the Yeager class
"Tough little ship..."
Every time someone says it, Michael Dorn senses a disturbance in the Force. 😛
(just seeing the title not seeing it yet) Oh Voyager BETTER win this. EDIT: Eh, well Voyager was never much of a fighter till much later in the series. Season one voyager barely made it.
Voyager should easily win. Voyager has twice as many torpedo launchers, and a larger engineering hull. Where does the Yaeger even have it's warp core?

Its torpedoes are easily evaded, it takes too long to fire them leaving the ships forward launchers vulnerable to attack and it actually delivers fewer torpedoes per minute because the volley is so slow.
I am going to guess that Voyager will win this as the other ship is a mothballed ship.
damn damn i know the jaeger could win she wiped the floor with a intrepid class and even was able do defeat a galaxy class i am impressed. i mean it is a bit ugly but has his own charme i would fly proud with a jaeger class.

Unfortunately the stardrive section is around double the size of Chakotay’s ship, so that doesn’t work
It looks like 2 ships stuck together.
Indeed! It's almost like they took Chakotay's Maquis ship and stuck it on the back of Voyager. 🖖
Ok I will never not love star Trek, but that's just lazy😂😂
@jameshorner7816 they had a habit of reusing bits of ships in the show. Especially the Excelsior class!
Unbalanced.

V-ger wil comply
That's a very ugly ship hahaha I wonder if the warship voyager will take it on 😊
*Looks at zoomed display of a salvo of photon torpedoes just barely missing the target and flying past it harmlessly*
DATA!!! 😡
Yeager class is an abomination and a disgraceful use of the Yeager name!
Yeager love doing the spins 🤢🤮
Jeager shouldnt be better than the it was meant to be. Dont agree with this one.
