impressive cranking especially from a 6volt the distributer might be damp inside sometimes a spray with wd40 or similar and wipe out with cloth can work or a hair drier .
Hudsoninbury, have you given up making videos for your RUclips channel? I have enjoyed all of them going way back including the Car Capers and Bennicks days. All the best from Australia.
@@hudsoninbury well sounds like your situation has changed with other projects and priorities. I suppose I am being selfish as I just so enjoyed those early videos with all those great cars, both yours (we hired a 2CV from Citroen in Paris in the mid eighties under the Tourist Transfer program and proceeded on a grand tour putting 13000+Km on the clock before handing it back. Your 2CV is fantastic!) on your property and the other ones being repaired at Bennicks. The videos were very well recorded and the accompanying knowledgeable banter was great. Good luck and thanks for the memories.
Pour a little gas straight down the carburetor and it will start right up. Save your starter and battery. The old fuel systems always leak down when they are left that long. Its standard procedure for me on the 52 Merc.
great old cranking sounds. thanks for uploading!!
Love the Cranking lots! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
