Thanks for sharing and talking about your Bibles, I enjoyed it! I started out with a Children's Bible (by Golden Press), then in high school we read "Good News for Modern Man" version of the New Testament (very easy to read but not praised for it's accuracy in translation). Those were Bibles all us kids in the family shared. As an adult, I read the NAB (New American Bible) which is what we currently use for the Mass in the USA. I wish you all the best in your Year 2025 journey through The Rosary in a Year!
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, and for watching the video🤗 I know some people don't seem to like NABRE, but I think it's a good translation! Happy New Year to as well, and God bless🙏🏼🎉
@@EmmMW123 Glad you are happy with the NABRE 😀 I am not a translation expert either, most important is that we read it! Forgot to say I am impressed with your lovely bible covers. I am not good with sewing but do appreciate your handiwork!
I love finding a Bible collector on YT. I have a New Testament and Psalms St. Joseph Edition NCB that I use most of all. I have the OT/NT version as well. It’s a study Bible. I have a lot of Bibles also. I love the Word of God! I have a lot of Protestant Bibles from before I entered the Catholic Church. I have the new Ignatius OT/NT Bible. Very large, but I love that it is a thorough study bible. I have Volumes I-III of the Word on Fire Bible. I ordered the new Great Adventure Bible from Ascension. I have the paperback of the first edition. I have the Douay Rheims and Didache as well. I have my 10 volume set of Children’s Bible from Arthur Maxwell that is not Catholic, but led me to Christ when I was 12 years old, and I still have my NKJ version that I used a lot before becoming Catholic. But I love my Catholic Bibles most.
Oh wow! I love your Bible collection! My mom has the St Joseph OT/NT I think and she loves it:) I've also heard great things about the Didache one. And that's so awesome that you already have the new Ignatius Study Bible! I'm hoping to get mine soon. Fingers crossed😃 I really want the new Second edition of the Great Adventure Bible but it's so expensive here in Canada...sigh....Anyhoo, thanks so much for taking the time to watch the vid and commenting. God bless🤗
That's awesome that you still have your bible from when you were a wee lass. Hopefully you can pass it down to a granddaughter some day! I have that same mini-RSV but I struggle to read it now, even wearing my glasses.
To be honest, I also read the compact RSV with reading glasses and still have to squint sometimes😂 And thanks so much for watching! Fingers crossed that Bible lasts for the future generation🙏🏼
@@EmmMW123 Well, I actually rarely read my Bible. Ya, there are manifold English translations of the Bible ! Wish you all the best on reading all your Bibles. You're such an inspiration to me.
More than 10. Last I counted of my own collection a few months ago was 72🫣 needless to say, my wife isn’t happy😳 🙏God bless and thanks for the content.

What a beautiful collection. I love your picture Catholic and the one your daughter uses. Great gift ideas.
Thank you so much for watching🤗 And yes…that picture book one is great! I still read it once in awhile😁

Outstanding!!! I commend you for keeping your first Bible.
Thank you! I’m actually surprised it is still holding up considering how old it is😁
Great bibles! Just picked up a Catholic note takers Bible
Thank you so much for watching🤗 And a note taking Bible is such a good one to have. I've seen some reviews of the Ave one and I kinda wanted it too😁
@@EmmMW123I just got the Ave Maria note taking Bible for my birthday this week. Love it so far.
@@chaoticplannermom6973 That's awesome! I've only seen great reviews of that one😃I really do need a note-taking Bible😂
Que opina de Salmo 37:29
You should get a King James Bible in the near future.
Shame on me ! I only have 2 Bibles . (1) Jerusalem Bible ( Popular Edition ) and (2) New English Bible with Apocrypha.
LOL....how do you survive?😆 But seriously, for the longest time, I didn't even know there are different translations of the Bible!
