Fr watching these videos of people visiting Latin American countries makes me realise how unfriendly people are in the uk, no one speaks unless spoken to and people can be very blunt and it’s very hard to find friends
The Brazilian people tend to receive foreign tourists very well, and like to see them making an effort to communicate in our language, but you, a foreigner, don't be fooled by this, because street "merchants" will abuse the value of any product that you want to buy and they will want to explore you as much as they can, this is very common in Rio de Janeiro. This not only happens with foreign tourists but also with Brazilian tourists from other cities.

I'm saying that if you're a tourist in the UK it's highly unlikely that you'd make friends with other normal people so quickly and easily as he does here, you're more likely to get a good kicking for no reason
I was a sailor in my Youth, the only country i did not dare to get drunk in was Brazil, this was in the early 90's...not very difficult to get robbed in Rio or in Santos as a foreigner at that time period:)

Having lived in Brasil, I personally wouldn’t walk around asking people if they speak Spanish. Just assume they speak Portuguese and maybe a little English.
I spent a year in Russia. Learning the language and treating people like equals will having them treating you like their friend. All the other Americans treated them like less than. Expected the girls to like them because they were foreigners, paid no attention to interacting with the guys. I was always out doing stuff with people, while the other guys sat in their rooms except on weekends.

GOA era muito deserto tinha pouca população e qd os portugueses chegram lá foi mais para trocar comerciais , que mais tarde se misturaram e ficou uma população unica muito diferente do resto da India.

Having lived in Brasil, I personally wouldn’t walk around asking people if they speak Spanish. Just assume they speak Portuguese and maybe a little English.
@Greg Hayward some understand the Spanish language. Either way timmy needs to brush up on the portuguese.
For portuguese speakers it's easy to understand Spanish, Not everything but the basic to survive

I spent a year in Russia. Learning the language and treating people like equals will having them treating you like their friend. All the other Americans treated them like less than. Expected the girls to like them because they were foreigners, paid no attention to interacting with the guys. I was always out doing stuff with people, while the other guys sat in their rooms except on weekends.
