10r8501 is the part number for stock cat injectors lol. So no you’re not flowing big fuel like you’re saying you are. Pulse width gonna be stretched way too much for having the 1000hp that you claim. The new part number for “59s” is 211-3027 the reman number is 10r0959. You’re flowing 2.8 kgs, the 59s flow 4.7.
Fun fact, my dad was Joe Bentleys first driver when he left EDS. So I was in the actual truck that worked to build that whole shop and business a good part of my childhood. Dad ran Oregon for him weekly for like a decade.

The best way to remove those broken bolts is with an edm machine. You can buy studs where each end is a different size so you can oversize the manifold holes and keep the turbo the stock size.
Coal is just a sign of poor tuning and over fueling, money literally just blowing from the exhaust. Tuning without a dyno and proper data logging is just a crap shoot.

I have seen many cracked paccar mx-13 heads and they all crack for the exact same reason. Whoever is tuning those paccar engines does not know what they are doing. From the inception of diesel emissions the main focus has been reducing NOx emissions and NOx creation occurs when fuel is burned at high temperatures so manufacturers introduced egr system to lower combustion temperatures by introducing inert gas into the cylinder which lowers combustion chamber temperatures. You can't just eliminate the egr and expect the engine to run properly without completely retuning the engine to change the way it operates. Incorrect tuning is what causes the paccar MX-13 heads to repeatedly crack. The engine manufacturer tuned the engine with the expectation that the egr gases are going to be there to limit combustion chamber temperatures and that is why the heads are cracking. When the first emissions requirements came out engine manufacturers adapted emission equipment into preexisting engine designs but that is not the case anymore since engines are designed around emissions systems now. To properly tune any engine one must properly understand the combustion process and how an engine operates. You will continue to have cracked paccar heads.

@@Jm-is9ig With the paccar engines it is due to deleting the emissions systems. The paccar needs the egr to cool the combustion chamber to keep the head from cracking. Deleting a paccar requires extensive tuning to keep the cylinder temperatures within the safe range.
For the loads you are doing with Bonnie a Conestoga or as we call them in Australia a curtainsider would probably be worth it as long as there are not to many overwidth loads.

Hey Tim, Cat power gen tech in Florida here. Not sure if you knew it or not but the 10R-8501 is a reman injector. I don't know your serial no. Prefix but there are a slew of different injectors based on application and serial. But for example a new injector for a 3406 6TS ser. No. Is a 211-3021. Any part with a 10R or 20R prefix is a Cat reman part.

As not knowing the American trucks and transmissions, I just wonder if there is a “universally fitting” motor you can use for multiple trannys? This way you would always have 1 extra, rebuild read to be used when a truck has engine trouble? That would be nice? Cost saving as a truck that is having engine troubles will be out on the road faster to contribute earning money.

New trailers always cost more than one thats paid off. If we get a change of party in November boats will pick right back up. Those 4 years were great for buisiness and i see no reason why it wouldn't go back to that with a few policy changes back to what they were then. Between depreciation and what a new trailer costs. figure you'll get 1 new trailer for every 3 you sell. November is 4.5 months away, keep em. If it was 2 years id think otherwise. Get them all fixed up to 100 percent, repainted, then you got nice fresh trailers for when it picks up, or sell them for more as more folks will be looking for trailers and maybe it works out you sell 2 refreshed trailers for 1 new. The folks who can buy out competition when things are tight are the ones primed for the biggest advances when when the gates open back up.

On tarping just look at Maverick or TMC Trailers and see the way they bungie the tarps. Nothing more impressive than a tarp job done right.

As not knowing the American trucks and transmissions, I just wonder if there is a “universally fitting” motor you can use for multiple trannys? This way you would always have 1 extra, rebuild read to be used when a truck has engine trouble? That would be nice? Cost saving as a truck that is having engine troubles will be out on the road faster to contribute earning money.

Tim not telling you what to do but if you do get new dropdeck may i say get a mac or reitnouer with sliding curtion tarp a guy i know who owns valley trucking out of ashland ohio they haul steel coils use mac flatbeds with sliding tarps

No we are getting out of the boat business WTF. Didn’t Tim say he was gunna start hammering hauling boats a few videos ago. Man I love the trucking and family content but stick one thing out man and see it through. Constantly moving or changing directions we can’t even keep up. But keep the content coming

New trailers always cost more than one thats paid off. If we get a change of party in November boats will pick right back up. Those 4 years were great for buisiness and i see no reason why it wouldn't go back to that with a few policy changes back to what they were then. Between depreciation and what a new trailer costs. figure you'll get 1 new trailer for every 3 you sell. November is 4.5 months away, keep em. If it was 2 years id think otherwise. Get them all fixed up to 100 percent, repainted, then you got nice fresh trailers for when it picks up, or sell them for more as more folks will be looking for trailers and maybe it works out you sell 2 refreshed trailers for 1 new. The folks who can buy out competition when things are tight are the ones primed for the biggest advances when when the gates open back up.
