- 07 and up escalade oem nav bypass with screencast. Allows video in motion on 07 08 09 2010 11 12 13 and 14 escalades. Video also shows screencast from samsung edge phone directly to the factory screen. Available for many other oem applications. Screencasting available for any monitor with standard rca video input.
He's an after market device installed called a lock pick. You can go to any car stereo shop in your local area and have it installed. I had one on my 2007 Escalade. They cost around $200 and up. That's what he didn't mention in the video.

did it on my dads escalade we have xm to did all the steps but didn't switch to the black screen

How were you able to screen mirror without connecting to a wifi hotspot on the truck? How is the phone connecting to the truck?

The phone connects to a hotspot created by the mirrorlink, its just using wifi for connectivity not for data use, it gets its data from your phone

I just purchased a Cadillac Escalade EXT 2007 and this is not working for me, Is there any kind of reset or something I can do to make this function work? When I hit the window button 4 times my screen never switches modes, well it's on XM radio.

That's cool. Can you tell me if this will also give the rear TV Monitor the picture and sound? I'm definitely going to look into getting this bypass. I have seen a few BYPASS's out there that unlock the rear view camera, phone dialing & Front DVD Movie Play all while driving and not in Park.

i have 08 escalade with similar interface, no AUX on my setup either. I am confused as to what you got to get that to work. can any body help? i started googling, not seeing anything tho.
Use a navtv interface to get the mirror or carplay to work. As far as audio goes, if you just want to add bluetooth, you can go to the xm tuner behind the glove box, intercept the audio at the tuner without disconnecting it and add a universal bt module that runs about 35$ on amazon. Reggie Rice go to connections...then to bottom for more connections..then down to mirror link.you have to have a cast box hooked up via the rca video jacks in rear.

made this video years ago, coastaletech.com made the interface, first gen worked, thats whats on the video. i ordered the next gen that had the mirror link built in after this video and never could get it to work right so i just installed a samsung galaxy tab 8 that fit right in its place and ran a charger. i added a mirror link box to output the video from the tablet to the headrest tvs and an obd wifi hotspot and a wifi backup camera to make everything seamless any questions call or text 2149349705, I have a stereo shop in carrollton tx and id be more than happy to help anyone else with this setup

I found great way how to connect your iPhone to the Cadillac I’m able to use Pandora or watch videos on my Cadillac with my phone or cable tv if you have the app on your phone with under $20 . Took me a while but I finally found it 😁.

The Bake Show well I have the 2007 Cadillac Escalade and if you look in the back of your center arm rest you’ll notice the 3 color input for audio and video . Go and look for those connections and make sure the end of the cable fits your phone audio input like if you where connecting some headphones. On your TV screen change it to AUX and your ready to hear your pandora or watch Cable TV on you’re app phone but keep in mind if you want to watch TV in the front TV it will only work if the truck is in park other then that you shouldn’t have a problem hearing pandora or RUclips.
