My friend Jason Watts Rest in peace we use to watch the Lions play every Sunday with his grandpa and he always use to say to us before he died he just wanted to see the Lions reach the playoffs. Gibbs still would have been selected even without the Jameson suspension. People won’t agree but this offense did JUST FINE without Jameson last year. ASRB / Reynolds / Khalif / Marvin Jones Jr for just WRs are great and we have some rookies who could make an impact.

It hurts not to have Jamo the first 6 games but all they have to do is win 4 of those first 6 games and remember we started 1-6 last year. This defense was better then the stats suggest last year and the weakness was the secondary. This secondary may be top 10

@Professional 2022 maybe, i mean the reality is this is still a very young team and was the youngest team in the NFL last season so i still expect some mistakes in that regard. As far as coaching someone like Campbell will always have a decision or two that people will question so i don't expect that to stop nor should it. They're aggressive and take risks but they showed last year that they can learn from them at least.

As a Lion’s fan, all of these rosy predictions for next season make me nervous. The Lion’s have been so terrible for so many years that it’s hard to take the predictions seriously.
As a long time Lions fan this is honestly the first time I'm truly believing. So I'm not really nervous at all. There's times I've hoped in the past, for sure. But never have I been anywhere near as confident in this team as now.

I'd say 10 is there floor and 13 is ceiling. It's hard to see them getting 13 so quick but this team is really talented and I could see them having a top 5 offense and top 10 defense, the defense could surprise a lot of people I think
If the secondary they improved can give the pass rush another half second or so this year to get home I expect great things from this team. And when we play Carolina they better pray that the line holds up or aiden Hutchison may very well end Bryce young’s career before it starts or even James Houston 4.

The Lion's defense is still suspect after the draft. Their defense was addressed but not enough.
Did you pay attention to FA? The only real hole in the defense is DT and I think we will bring a vet towards the beginning of the season

Gibbs is faster and will get you those big plays. Robinson will wear teams down with his running style. two very different, but elite running backs.
