Thank you for these videos. I am 85 years old and your title fits my life. I was born during the depression. My mother had given birth to 8 sons - lots of age differences. My Daddy was very happy but not my mother. If any one complimented me or said I was pretty, she always questioned that. She told me on more than one occasion that she wished I had never been born. When I get down,, as I do more often than I like to admit, my mind always goes back to my mother. So it was a self fulfilling prophecy for me, that I felt rejected, "invisible" throughout my life. I was saved under the ministry of my minister brother when I was 13. Now that I am a widow and live alone, those thoughts still come back. I appreciate these reminders that the God of the Universe knows better and that He also died for ME. God bless. Did not mean for this to get so long. Mary

But you, dear lady, have lived through and experienced so much in your life, ( of which only a small, but powerful percentage was shared ) and yet even in sorrowful times you did not give up on yourself or our Lord and Saviour. But now I know when I feel unloved...I MUST turn that negative thought OFF.. it doesn't matter what others think about me...or even how bad I feel about myself at times.. it only matters that God loves me and gives me the strength and encouragement to love myself! Lately, i have been overcome with this fear that I am not saved and doubt has settled in. Thoughts come to me that maybe I wasn't sincere when I prayed eventhough through tears and pouring out my heart to God. I just dont feel the joy in my heart like before and it keeps me up at night. Fears like im not making it try to settle in but I know I don't want to settle with that but I feel stuck.
Hi Ms. Shiela. I felt the same way months ago but our Lord is faithful and gracious and compassionate and no man can pluck us out of His hands. Please don't listen to the lies, continue to seek Him and His Word even though sometimes you don't "feel" Him. In my case, God taught me that the reason I was having those thoughts is because I have not yet fully repented of some sins... but God is merciful and faithful! He showed me in my heart the sins that I have not fully turned away from, and then forgave me, delivered me and set me free. I do pray that God will direct you and guide you in order to break from this fear and doubt. I don't really know what you are going through but I am sure that God will never leave you nor forsake you. Please hold on because he will never give up on you, just like how He has not given up on me. His love for us is unconditional and He cares for us deeply. God bless you Ms. Shiela. I would like to see a real emphasis on the "past tense flavor" of our salvation. All sins have been forgiven. Suicide has been forgiven. Suicide can also be a symptom that shows an underlying rejection of forgiveness, and the accompanying hope for a meaningful future here on earth and forever with God. But no one goes to hell because of the sin of suicide. That is forgiven by Jesus' suffering on the cross.
A) with a recent divorce, scriptural you need to pray and see if it is biblical to remarry, B) your identity is based in Christ, C) pray about what God's purpose and plan for you is after the divorce.

Random thoughts like that are usually called intrusive thoughts. I have them all the time, and they frustrate me to no end, believe me. The KJV is not the most accurate translation of the original scriptures. The NASB is the most accurate word for word translation and the NIV is the most accurate thought for thought Translations. Our church uses the English Standard Version, which is a translation similar to the NASB.

I think it means praying to Him. Telling Him about your fears and worries and all that, and then believing that you'll hear from Him in some way
