Awesome work with the fiber-glassed Arrow, I can't wait for the fiber-glassing video to come out. Now, just stop teasing us with ME 262 spoilers, release the video!!! :D
WOW.... Love how this hobby has changed in leaps and bounds in the last 10 years alone and a huge thanks to you guys and your cohorts for pushing for all the advancements. Opens up this wonderful hobby for so many more that would be too apprehensive to even try... Love the channel!!!
This was great, a fun challenge! How about a 15 to 18 mph day, get a tail dragger and a tricycle gear plane then do some take offs and landings on the runway safely. It's a realistic challenge and we can always pick up some pointers. Lots of guys stay home if the wind is over 7mph,..... so sad.
Not much chance of finding golfers out that day. The autopilot mode on the little board must have advanced defence research by years! Sure am impressed with the drone pilot on this who did a fantastic job at keeping up ! !
i been watching your videos since i was a young kid in primary school i love your videos and i shared every single videos you done because of how much effort and hours you put into making these projects tysm for doing this.
We fly slope gliders in 60 mph wind (when on the rare occasion we get winds this big) at point Fermin, San Pedro, Ca Keep in mind these are custom built 48 to 60” wing span planes that weigh up to six Lbs - epic!! Now back to the video / love the Flight Test crew!
The ability to fly in that high of wind and especially the launch assist is absolutely insane. I would never have imagined this kind of tech 25 years ago when I was a kid in the hobby.
Nice! I did something similar when I was flying a Zaggy back in early 2000 in Hong Kong. I had to tape a rock on the noise of the Zaggy ;) What was nuts.
@@JejetRC super easy. I highly recommend getting some zap finishing resin and some light fiberglass cloth from tower hobbies. Greatest skill i ever learned.
Solid Rocket assist emergency rockets should solve those problems.... get into those leading edges of storms give you that total thrust regardless of what the propeller or wing experience.... would be epic!!!
Flying in high wind with the right plane if fun. We used to fly in 45-60mph winds all the time with big .40 and .60 nitro trainers. It was a lot of fun landing backwards, flying inverted so slow that you could come down a touch the tail in the grass without fear. I miss those days, honestly. It sucks that the .40 square body cheap nitro trainers are no more.
great job developing that tech, seems like you made a lot of great common sense decisions and made it happen. after I get the quad thing figured out.. Wings are next.
I've flown a 2s piper cub in 40 mph winds gusting to 50 odds, it was fabulous, my dad couldn't believe it, I hand launched into the wind full throttle. I flew for about 6 mins on a 1300 mah, upwind legs where soooooo long as its top speed was roughly 45mph, downwind wow. I still have it, it's been stuck in a tree and everything. I landed it in my back garden almost stationary ground speed wise. Its up in the garage rafters, I'm gonna get it back out give it a fly soon, is been hibernating for 6 odd years
I've flown my One-Sheet-Wing in gusty winds so fast that I was moving backward half the time despite being at full throttle. Fantastic fun, especially with no computer assist. ;) Man, I miss our big field...
Riding two wheels, is much like flying. Have you guys ever considered also branching into electric two-wheeled stuff? I have a Puch moped from the 1970's that would be cool as an electric that can range up to 100 miles round trip.... 😁😉
Have you guys heard of the Helio Courier aircraft designed at MIT in the 1960's? You guys should make a model!! I fly a real one and think everyone should get the chance!
I love my Aura5s... but I dont' think I would have the guts to fly in that kind of wind. I have flown in some pretty windy conditions, but today I got down to the field and found it gusting from 15-30mph at a right angle to the runway. It just didn't happen.
Curious what 4s battery you guys are using with the value bundle set up? Mine flies like a dream on the 850 3s, now I'm really excited to see what it'll do on a 4s!
I love how the editor put question marks for some of the subtitles cuz he had no idea what they were saying due to the wind 😂
Yeah Noah really nailed this one. Such a fun video.
I want to come fly there again as soon as I can.. Y'all are having way too much fun! Without me...🤣
You guys shound fly the FT Arrow into a sharp blade and film it in slowmotion. That would be awesome!
Awesome work with the fiber-glassed Arrow, I can't wait for the fiber-glassing video to come out. Now, just stop teasing us with ME 262 spoilers, release the video!!! :D
fibre glassing video was a few months back mate,, noah glasses up both arrows with instruction on how its done
Upsidedown launch assist very impressive! Time to visit your store.

That was just amazing. And the subtitles are next level. Good job!
Wow really strong one .. Your technology is great
Awesome. Shared! Keep it up guys!
Thanks Joe!! Appreciate it !
Still love watching you guys all these years.
"what do you say we shoot some gaps"
(ginger approves)

Love to see Josh rocking the King of Random merch. Rip Grant
Here we go!!!!!!
Lets go to fly 😋😋😋😋😋
Good morning everyone!
Not much chance of finding golfers out that day.
The autopilot mode on the little board must have advanced defence research by years!
Sure am impressed with the drone pilot on this who did a fantastic job at keeping up ! !
Can't tell you how much I loved watching this. I think I would have also seen you try to fly with out the level assistance just for comparison 😉.

it's been absolutely ages since I've watched anything from this channel
the quality of the content is still great, keep it up guys
Oooo...a 262 @ 6:26. Nice.
That’s nuts!!! Love it! I have flown in some of these crazy winds without the computer assistance. Wow!
Ayyyy, rockin that TKOR shirt
you guy's should build "Teachers" Skyly and the Sanka mk B from "The Sky Crawlers"
Nice! I did something similar when I was flying a Zaggy back in early 2000 in Hong Kong. I had to tape a rock on the noise of the Zaggy ;) What was nuts.
60mph is BBQ weather here in Scotland 🤪
I love how windy it is you can even hear them 😂
You guys should make a video fiberglassing a master series. Makeing it as nice as possible.
Amazing
Now I gotta make another arrow and try this in the Santa Ana winds, it blows roofs off sometimes lol.
I guess I’ve got to buy some fiberglassing stuff too. Or it would only last a few seconds.
@@JejetRC super easy. I highly recommend getting some zap finishing resin and some light fiberglass cloth from tower hobbies.
Greatest skill i ever learned.
Flexing the 262 again I see.
Outstanding as always! Is that a DJI FPV doing the chase footage?
Amazing the Electronics that can be put in our planes now. Nothing like we flew 50 years ago. I did not think the drone would make it.
ABSOULUTELY LOVE UR VIDEOS
Love the king of random shirt
Ordered some of those ear buds, thanks! Oh airplanes look good too haha
i want the led light boxes/tube these guys have in the background. SOOOO cool
I love the thumbnail for the video. I imagined Josh doing his best arnie voice 😂
Course you can! Bruce gets the AXN out only in a gale now-days...and without stabilization
Looks like a typical day in Iowa, impressive flying.
Me- sees 18mph gust at 150ft "well i guess im gonna just go play in the simulator"
Solid Rocket assist emergency rockets should solve those problems.... get into those leading edges of storms give you that total thrust regardless of what the propeller or wing experience.... would be epic!!!
Please make a guide for fiberglassing a plan
please bring the Sea Angel kit back.
its not a epic fail, it's epic testing!
That thing rips haha great video
This reminds me of OG Flight Test
Flying in high wind with the right plane if fun.

Damn Josh Bix looking good. Came back to this channel after a while
6:24 that looks INCREDIBLE. Is it going to be in a future video?
Awesome work, guys!!! 😃
You should've FPVed it! 😂
Anyway, stay safe there, everybody! 🖖😊
Nice
Most amazing things were the drone shots. Rock solid, not a twitch!
been there done that! planes fly backwards too in those kind of wind speeds!!! really fun!
you guys got to fly that gas Stick in these kind of wind speeds!!! that thing does great in crazy wind speeds!!!
You guys always do what I would do someday.. lol thanks👊👊💪💪
Nice vid my guy
Why always king of random merch? To just show support? Not hating, I love Grant!
RIP ❤
We love the TKOR team AND they make great merch that is comfy and stylish... so we wear it! haha
The title of this video should be "WOOOSH!!!!!!" lmao
great job developing that tech,
seems like you made a lot of great common sense decisions and made it happen.
after I get the quad thing figured out..
Wings are next.
I never seen an rc plane with the speed of 60mph before That's freaking awesome! 👍
You need to Google "dynamic slope soaring"
I've flown a 2s piper cub in 40 mph winds gusting to 50 odds, it was fabulous, my dad couldn't believe it, I hand launched into the wind full throttle. Drone: REEEEEEEEEEEEEEUUHHEEEEEEEEWWEEEEEEEVVVVEEEE
DUDE! Look at those Elevons just Working!! 😂
Of course, when you are slope soaring / sloping (as I do) we simply call winds that fast by another name - GOOD LIFT !
Wiiiiindy!!!!
wow
Noone talks about the quad thad kills it there, too!
Thought I’d check out the Aura Lite board. $40 in your store - £60-70 in the UK!
Their plane, can fly in literally 50 mph winds!
My plane, gets immediately knocked out of the sky by a 0.01 mph gust of wind
Fun!
Please make an F4 Phantom RC sometime soon!
Good night everyone from India
I've flown my One-Sheet-Wing in gusty winds so fast that I was moving backward half the time despite being at full throttle. Fantastic fun, especially with no computer assist. ;)
Man, I miss our big field...
lol
what if it went up and was striked by a thunder
but still great vid
Sounds like an awesome challenge for a vid. :)
Trees love rain !!
8:39 you're welcome!
price is sick
You guys should make asymmetric planes.

Yay 😃
Please make an b-2 bomber that actually carpet bombs or an sr-71 mabee an f-14 that wings sweep and unsweep
Ogga bogga
Was this the wind about a week ago? I was hanging out on my favorite rooftop on UC’s campus watching those storms roll in, so much fun!
Good morning!
Gooooooood morning/afternoon/evening to you
Next Easter make an egg bombing plane. Talking a dozen eggs dropped at once!
Can you offer your foam in a 10 pack in addition to a 25 pack because I want flite test foam just not 25 sheets

New episode idea: flying aircraft carrier for drone landing and takeoff?
