    Congrats you earned it. You’re one of the original aviation RUclipsrs. I’m just reaching ATP mins and my mentor told me the same thing. Start volunteering!

    Hi Jay:) thanks for the video! So I just completed commercial and I’m headed for CFI, II, MEI. Of course once I complete ATP I want to get into a position. Any tips or tricks on how to go about that? I’m 37 so I’m seeking all efficient pathways for building flight time if you catch my drift.;) thanks again for the video

    Hey-What are your thoughts on SIC turbine time? Was that the vast majority of your remaining turbine time? From what I hear, SIC isn't as valuable and you can't log it unless the company has a type of training program. Thought? Thanks for your insight.

      SIC Turbine time is valuable! Specifically in a transport category jet at a Part 135 or 121 Carrier. I can't speak for it's value if flown under part 91. Also you can log SIC turbine time, and to fly transport category jets you need a type rating, which requires training. Hope this helps 🤙🏾

      @@jaycay99 thanks a million. Turbine time that's not PIC, or Captain, is that considered SIC?

    Are they not going to mandate that you cut your hair? If not, that's awesome

      Nope! I had dreads when I got hired at DL. I personally refused to cut them. I have a video that talks about it 🤙🏾

    They don't ask for too many hours...

      My brother, I have to disagree with you. 1500hrs of Turbine/Jet time is quite a lot of hours, and it takes years to build.

    This guy is not a Delta Air Lines pilot, nor was he hired by Delta Air Lines.

      That’s funny, with the fact I’m an Airbus A320 Captain at Delta, on another one of his videos I quickly recognized our pilot selection office and that he had a CJO in hand. I wonder what exactly it is about him that would make you say that he never was a pilot for us?? I really wonder. 🤔🤔

      Peep the CJO in the video. And I said I don't work at Delta Air Lines my guy.

      @@JLuke78You tell me? Maybe it's the fact that he had hardly any PIC at the time?

    • @JLuke78
      @JLuke78 16 часов назад

      @ Are you a pilot at Delta? If so you’d know that despite myself and others around my seniority (17 years) being hired with considerable turbine PIC time many of the FOs hired as of recent have little to none. That’s not unusual at all nowadays.

      @@JLuke78 that's interesting when I interviewed in Delta in early 2020, everyone had at least 2k TPIC time. I turned down Delta due to Covid and my employer still required 1k TPIC
