Do visit the Pichavaram mangrove forest, its the 2nd largest in Asia and just 60kms ride from Pondicherry city centre and the boat ride there is so amazing. as you're there so you must try this experience. also on the way to approach the forest, you'll find a hotel run by a tamilian family where they provide nice sea food. must try that.

Canon G7X Mark ii is great for travel vlogging in specific since its more of filming on the go and a light weight camera like this one is great, the quality is great too. But if you'd still like to go for a bigger DSLR then I'd definitely recommend the Canon 5D Mark ii or Canon 200D.

The mask must be worn only if traveling on a two-wheeler otherwise there are no restrictions.
