I appreciate that this is your experience in the city, but as someone who lives here and has grown up here, it's worth noting that that level of crowd isn't usual at all. It's what we get on weekends or long weekends or Christmas to NY. But otherwise, you would get a table at any restaurant / cafe if you walk in at 8.30/9, apart from maybe one or two on off days. Cafe des Arts, as well, is busy AF on weekends but weekdays are fairly chill. So, if you're watching this for the vlog experience, that's perfect. But if that makes you think you'll have that experience of Pondy, then that's not how it is on weekdays.
Haha I see..!! I really hope it was that way when we were there!! But we managed to get a table everywhere after a lot of waiting, either way! 😁
@@talkintravel I'm glad you got to enjoy it. This Christmas to NY week was so crazy the lines outside Cafe des Arts stretched down the block. This latest weekend was far more chill though. I also think the whole 'no Covid lockdowns' in PY while other nearby states had weekend lockdowns contributed to a surge in traffic lately. But that has since eased.

Coconut water which u guys were drinking is only 25INR at pondy, in delhi its 50 now,is the difference just bcoz of logistics ( only!!)
