Bansuri Beach Resorts near Sandunes is one of the best. Very close to the Beach, Classy. I stayed there during my vacation to Pondicherry. Its very rare to have such resorts very close to a famous spot, with such facilities at a budget price. Also it provides free entry to Sandunes❤❤❤. Must go 😍😍
Very nice video. However, Pondicherry is a highly unsafe city for women considering tamil people living there. specially for north indian couple, the city is highly unsafe and being out after 7 pm in pondicherry is highly risky for women as molestation is very common with tamil people targeting tourist women. Couple and Families strictly avoid this town. Goa is safer.

Pondichéry was a wonderful city, it was clean and peaceful before 1995. Now it is occupied by the people from other states particularly from Tamil nadu. The French culture has disappeared almost. The city is dirty and over populated.
Correct. My mother says the same. I too have noticed this, local indigenous population was peaceful until outsiders converted it into real estate market.

Gutted about the amount of rubbish along the beach...signs everywhere asking people not to litter, bins provided but no, stuff chucked everywhere. What is wrong with people, it's such a beautiful place ☹️
Agreed, we need to be much more conscious and responsible for our actions. Littering away everywhere just isn't sustainable for maintaining and enjoying all these places for the longest time. I am planning to go during the last week of September 2023 to Pondicherry. How the months of September & first week of October ? Does it rain heavily there?
That's when the season starts in Pondicherry. You can very well go during that time. And you are right it may rain, feel free to refer to the forecast for that. If you do not want to take chances, then late October onwards will be your best bet.
Yes, you can rent a car in Pondicherry. We didn't personally get the chance to use it so we do not have a recommendation. However, should you search on Google, you will find a decent few options! 😅

Hey, at the Chunnambar Boat House amongst other activities, you can do boating in the Chunnambar River. And Pichavaram Mangroves is quite far from Chunnambar Boat House where some vendors offer boating amongst the mangroves.

Hey, from the beaches mentioned in the video, you could swim on all the beaches. But the best experience will be at Rock Beach, Paradise Beach or Eden Beach. Hope this helps. 😀
Hey, you will come across frequent showers in monsoons and beaches, watersports, swimming and other water activities may be closed due to stormy waters. the sun won't be harsh and you can still enjoy the cafes, plazas and french architecture. However we recommed you head to Coorg, Chikmagalur, Wayanad, Kodai or a similar destination at the moment. The monsoons bring out a really unique charm to these places. Beaches are best enjoyed in Winters
Awesome video guys. I have visited pondy after watching this video and I ll suggest one thing related to coromandel cafe. 5:19 If there is a wait for the table, don't wait. Just go find another cafe. There are plenty of good ones. This one is overrated. The food is satisfactory at best. The staff are a little arrogant because of the demand. Not at all worth waiting. You won't miss anything in life if you don't visit coromandel cafe.

You can plan a 4-5 days trip. And you can cover Pondicherry and Auroville. And if you really want to add a place then maybe you could visit Madurai which is about 5 hours from Pondy.

Yes, for the better part you can get by with Hindi and a little bit of English. However, it will also depend on the company you are joining. So, maybe they will be in a better position to answer this! 😅
Also wanted to know if I rent a car …. Is on street parking easily available ….are the auto rickshaws available go travel to and fro the beaches which are far away… m confused whether to rent a car or just take local commute
Car parking is available for some cafes and beaches. Auto rickshaws will take you to almost every place. But will definitely overcharge you for. So, my personal recommendation would be that you rent a two wheeler. It will be easier to commute in, parking is available everywhere and it will be cheaper than the other two.

You will find people swimming on all the beaches. However, my preference would be Paradise and Eden beach.

It would really depend on the weather forecast and the like. But in general, given the monsoon is at its tail-end, is not a bad time to visit.

I am planning to go during the last week of September 2023 to Pondicherry. How the months of September & first week of October ? Does it rain heavily there?
That's when the season starts in Pondicherry. You can very well go during that time. And you are right it may rain, feel free to refer to the forecast for that. If you do not want to take chances, then late October onwards will be your best bet.

Yes, you can rent a car in Pondicherry. We didn't personally get the chance to use it so we do not have a recommendation. However, should you search on Google, you will find a decent few options! 😅

Hey, at the Chunnambar Boat House amongst other activities, you can do boating in the Chunnambar River. And Pichavaram Mangroves is quite far from Chunnambar Boat House where some vendors offer boating amongst the mangroves.

Hey, you will come across frequent showers in monsoons and beaches, watersports, swimming and other water activities may be closed due to stormy waters. the sun won't be harsh and you can still enjoy the cafes, plazas and french architecture.
However we recommed you head to Coorg, Chikmagalur, Wayanad, Kodai or a similar destination at the moment. The monsoons bring out a really unique charm to these places.

Awesome video guys. I have visited pondy after watching this video and I ll suggest one thing related to coromandel cafe. 5:19 If there is a wait for the table, don't wait. Just go find another cafe. There are plenty of good ones. This one is overrated. The food is satisfactory at best. The staff are a little arrogant because of the demand. Not at all worth waiting. You won't miss anything in life if you don't visit coromandel cafe.

You can plan a 4-5 days trip. And you can cover Pondicherry and Auroville.
And if you really want to add a place then maybe you could visit Madurai which is about 5 hours from Pondy.

End of September should be a decent enough time to visit, given the fact that it would be the tail-end of the monsoons.
Also wanted to know if I rent a car …. Is on street parking easily available ….are the auto rickshaws available go travel to and fro the beaches which are far away… m confused whether to rent a car or just take local commute
Car parking is available for some cafes and beaches. Auto rickshaws will take you to almost every place. But will definitely overcharge you for.
So, my personal recommendation would be that you rent a two wheeler. It will be easier to commute in, parking is available everywhere and it will be cheaper than the other two.

1. Since Pondicherry is on the East Coast, all the beaches will give you a chance at a beautiful sunrise. However, my favourite is Eden Beach.
2. Nope, you can rent the scooters on the spot.
