I have a serious theory for the identity of Phineas and Candace's dad. The answer of course lies on Milo Murphy's Law! In the Season 1 episode "Love Toboggan", there's a guy name Sergio McGuinness who just broke the land speed record on snow. In his speech, he mentions all the hardships he's gone through in order to do so. Both his father and grandfather died trying to break the record. But more importantly his wife and kids left him. His wife and kids left him! Wife and kids! Yes! I believe these wife and kids are Linda, Phineas, and Candace. I believe this also explains why Candace is so deadset on busting Phineas and Ferb. She fears Phineas and Ferb's shenanigans will lead to the same obsession that tore their original family apart and she wants to avoid going through that again. Then of course Milo then breaks the record going down the snowy mountain on a toboggan powered by a hot water heater, making all this for nothing!

I can kind of agree about the other evidence, but there's one thing about his "I'm the dad" evidence. Recent evidence has only strengthened my belief that Bill Cypher is Phineas father. The tweet from Alex Hirsch joking or saying he’s voicing Phineas father and The book of Bill reference to the theory on one of the first pages. Now maybe it still doesn’t make the most sense because of other factors, etc but it doesn’t have to because I’ve got a monster truck!
I love the concept of an alternate universe where Doof and Linda's date went smoothly, and they ended up having kids, thus giving rise to a Phineas that grew under his father's evil influence. I figure there'd also be a Candace/Vanessa counterpart where the two basically are one person - Evil Phineas's big sister. However, due to Doof's evil nature, I think Linda would end up divorcing him like Charlene did to Doof Prime. This could lead to her meeting and marrying Lawrence and therefore becoming stepmother to Ferb, who could help P&F Prime when they eventually end up in this AU and eventually sway Evil Phineas to the light. But that's just an idea.
Dan asks this question too - I think it's just because she would likely still be in England, and we don't spend much time there in the series so there's less to theorize over. But that said, the Poofenplotz theory is really funny!

Though I would like to point out that although Stan isn’t a great role model at face value (and if the shows did share a universe, yeah, he abandoned Phineas), he is still someone who deeply cares about his family. I'd like to make a counter argument about the Guy Fieri evidence. I'd do it on the Tik Tok but I don't use Tik Tok. I can kind of agree about the other evidence, but there's one thing about his "I'm the dad" evidence. The guy who made it says it's irrefutable proof, but if you take a look at the original video, there's some context to why he said it. Phineas asked if Guy washes the dishes for his family and Guy replied with that "I'm the dad" thing. But Phineas specifically asked, and I quote, "When you cook at home for your family, do you have to wash dishes?" He says YOUR which implies that Guy has a family of his own, which he does. Phineas probably wouldn't ask if Guy was the dad and if Phineas really didn't know, he'd probably say "When you cook at home for our family, do you wash dishes?" This would imply that Guy was the dad. Mic drop.

Recent evidence has only strengthened my belief that Bill Cypher is Phineas father.

I love the concept of an alternate universe where Doof and Linda's date went smoothly, and they ended up having kids, thus giving rise to a Phineas that grew under his father's evil influence. I figure there'd also be a Candace/Vanessa counterpart where the two basically are one person - Evil Phineas's big sister. However, due to Doof's evil nature, I think Linda would end up divorcing him like Charlene did to Doof Prime. This could lead to her meeting and marrying Lawrence and therefore becoming stepmother to Ferb, who could help P&F Prime when they eventually end up in this AU and eventually sway Evil Phineas to the light. But that's just an idea.

Great video! This was really fun to watch. Though I would like to point out that although Stan isn’t a great role model at face value (and if the shows did share a universe, yeah, he abandoned Phineas), he is still someone who deeply cares about his family. I think he probably would be a pretty solid dad if he had time to spend with Phineas, and I can definitely see him encouraging Phineas’ creativity.
