Hi Dom and thank you for watching. This a very long long model. It has taken up the top shelves of both the garage shelving units that I purchased from Screwfix! 🤣😂🤣😉 I’ve enjoyed every second of the build. I wish I could do it all again 😊😉🤣 take care and best wishes 😊😉😊
Hi Gaz, thank you for watching my friend. Got to have a trailer with the Scania ! 😂🤣😉 it’s a big model with the two unit’s attached are 1.2m long! Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😊😉😊
Hi Mattias and thank you for watching. The trailer chassis is relatively easy to assemble, it’s the side panel stickers, they take some time and patience to manoeuvre into all the side panel grooves. The truck and trailer combined is about 1.2m long! Takes up the whole of the top shelf of my 2 x shelving units from Screwfix. Take care and best wishes 😉😊😉
Hi Nanni, hope you’re keeping well. Oh yes, the truck and trailer together makes the model 1.2m long! It’s taken up the whole of the two shelves in the garage. Going to have to buy some more shelving units 🤣😊take care and best wishes. 😊😉
@@NANNIRC hi Nanni, Si, there are strong. I’m learning how to reverse like a full size articulated truck driver, it’s an awesome model. Take care and best wishes 😉😊😉
Hi there and thank you for watching. Oh yes, this makes the combined Scania Truck and trailer 1.2m long. The side panels were were tricky to get the stickers straight and stuck in between the grooves of the panels. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😉😊😉
Hi Addam and thank you for watching. There’s more to these trailers than meets the eye. The side panels are really tricky too, getting the stickers to stick in the ribs of the panels, took ages to get right. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😊😉😊
Hi Craig and thank you for watching. Oh yes, the weather is improving, little by little. I’ve been eagerly awaiting getting on to this trailer, it’s huge! The Scania R620 and trailer takes up the whole of the top shelf of 2 x shelving units that I got from Screwfix! The trailer is in itself easy to assemble, but the side stickers are really tricky. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😉😊😉
Hi there and thank you for watching. I’ve subbed to you, so that I can see how you get on building this great model. You’re going to love it! Take care and best wishes 😊😉😊
Hi Dave and thank you for watching. If you’re thinking of getting the Scania R series, I would recommend one, they are great trucks to build. The trailer is relatively easy, but the side stickers are quite tricky to make sure they are straight. Best wishes to you and the family too. Take care 😊😉😊
As always a great building video John. Everything's very good shown and explained. Lokking forward for the next parts. But just now you have my respect for choosing this trailer. The sidewalls aren't so easy when it comes to the stickers because of the waved surface.
Hi there, and thank you for watching. I thought that this trailer would work nicely with Scania R620. You’re right about the side panels, the stickers took some time to line up and work into place. I had to work the stickers into the grooves of the side walls on a one by one basis. I hope you’ll approve of my efforts. Take care and best wishes 😊😉😊
Hi Nanni, the leaf springs are stiff really, well have to see how the model performs outside, although, shouldn’t be too bad, I’ve go an 80T motor for more torque than speed. Take care and best wishes 😉😊😉ciao John 😉😊
@@NANNIRC hi Nanni, thank you for the tip, a little weight to the trailer to help with loading the axel, great idea. If not I’ll upgrade to some oil shocks. Take care and best wishes to you and the family 😉😊😉
Hiya John. Just catching up. Wow I can't get over the size of this thing. Looks incredibly solid and there is much more to it than I expected. Going to be good fun trying to learn how to reverse with this attached. I'm always impressed when I see articulated lorries manoeuvring. Great guide as ever my friend. Best wishes to you and yours 🙂
Hi Bob, I hope you’re keeping well. Oh yes, a lot has been going into this wonderful model. Hmmm….motorised legs, don’t think I’m going to get a pink ticket from the chancellor (ha hum, I mean wife🤣) for those. I’m happy with everything else. Thank you for watching. All the best to you and the family. 😉😊😉

In Step 3, you should have the nuts (BA6) sat in the X5 parts rather than sat on the chassis rails.
