I agree the JJ and the Yokomo were a bit pricier than I wanted to pay for them, even with them being limited and special. I could not spend the money for the Mid either. Once kits get over the $350 mark I have to be really excited and have a connection to them to buy them and none of these got me that excited. Still great kits just a bit too much for me. I do really love the look of the cool TL01B truck you picked up, it is super cool looking and I may have to find a used kit to do something like that!! It should be a blast out on the track and fun bang around kit! I had to laugh when you pulled out another ZX5 kit, I don't blame you for grabbing that one at all! LOL!! Take care and have a great weekend Keith!
Thanks Adam, the anniversary kits are all about making money for these companies. It is getting out of hand. Ended up landing the dogfighter rere on buyer for just over $300 which made it worth it.
That ZX-5 is a nice pick up. I look at them every now and then, haven't pulled the trigger though. I have been very interested in the JJ Ultima, but for the price it's a bit of a bridge too far. Nice haul once again!
I agree on some of the pricing! But they are definitely cool to have in the collection. That TL01 is a definitely upgraded and neat. I’ll email ya a guide of the TL01 range for ya.
gonna step up here on the JJ angle, amazing quality, fit engineering, granted only my second Kyosho build outside of my Fantom, but worth every penny, gearbox, pinion, bearings,
All three are cool as. The Fantom will look the business with the gold paint and all the gold bling. I love the green one but without an airbrush you’d never get green to match the wheels, Gavins build for that one has the colour formula for the green, if you haven’t seen it mate.
That TL 01 truck is very cool looking forward to seeing run footage of that truck I also agree the JJ car is cool but there is a lot better choices for that kind of money but to finish off the anniversary cars I get why you bought it
Great haul! The best 60th is the Mini-z Skyline 2000GT-R red body. And I've seen lots of new Yokomo's going under 400€ at Buyee. Currently 500€ at Tamico.
Keith, this is a crazy coincidence, but there’s a TR-15T loft find, only used once on eBay at this very moment for £325!! It’s obviously built and not new in box but it’d be worth getting just for a parts truck and to scratch the itch a bit for the moment :) :) I don’t think it’ll let me send you the link here but the band of the seller is Veetec JDM UKDM Parts Store (6703). If you need it buying (as it’s in the U.K, let me know.
That tl01 is cool. Dodge bodies are hard to find. I’m always on the search for dodge bodies cause gray is a dodge truck fan. Man great score for a runner
As a vintage collector, I have only bought the turbo Scorpion and JJ Ultima Kyosho buggies. in both cases because I wanted modern race buggies to run in their respective classes for vintage racing, where modern ”interpretations” are allowed, because my vintage Ultima JJ replica that I've been running the past few years is being left for dead on the track. Kyoshos 60th celebration buggies are inadvertently aimed at a very small segment of the vintage buggy market. True collectors are still buying up originals over the new cars and most re-releases appeal to people who want the vintage "experience" with none of the challenge of hunting down parts and original cars. Lots of these buyers don't have the emotional attachment to the originals or connection to the history. Look at complaints about why Kyosho used a body that doesn't fit on the JJ, or why they used grp shock towers instead of carbon fibre. Or why they chose a colour on the 60th Mid hat you can't buy readly available. Kyoshos problem, and why there are still plenty of unsold Ultimas and Kids around, is that there's a very small section of the market these cars appeal to. If you've already bought an Ultima or Mid why would you buy another, especially at that price, even though upgraded versions have cost them considerably more. If you are a collector why would you buy one when they have less connection to the originals than the standard re-release versions. The Yokomo 870c has even less connection to the original. Tamiya keeps on churning out re-releases time and time again because while they are aimed at the much bigger group of non racers who knew about the cars back then, plus they still appeal to young new RC fans who buy them for what they are today.
Mega haul, the jj is a bit steep, but. Its an excelent build and drives great 👍 i know what you mean about the 870c once i had mine built i put it next to the mid WC87, i could not see a £500 car there, sadly you’ll have to wait a little to see mine trackside, it went in my deal for the Dynastorm 😁 but i can allways get another 870c. And once ive saved up, i will get another. Keep up the awsome work 👍
Yes agree with you there on the JJ and the Yokomo, and I wasn’t going for the mid but it’s been eating into me so saving for one as they’re not selling very fast here in the uk. Great unboxing
The kits may be expensive. I agree it's alot. But it always has been. I know you know that better than anyone. To put top of the line electrics in your car costs more than the kit. The 80s were dark times money wise. I like the jj. Looks angry. The mid could possible be the best looking 4wd kyosho if it's era. As for modern that cc you built. It just screams race. You better get a 7 I think. Haha
Wow! That’s an action packed box! The ZX5 NIB is wicked. I have to ask though as a noob but how and where do you find these deals and auction sites? Nice work and great videos. Cheers !
For kayosho’s 60th anniversary to celebrate and also my first I got the 70 dodge charger in color green now I’m hooked Great quality just wished they had had crawlers which I’m mostly into but also kinda new to the hobby
Lovely purchases as always Keith! You really know how to hunt down the bargains pal 😎 Those Kyosho kits are 🔥
Love playing what's in the box with you Keith 😂
It’s was another great box of fun. Nice to waffle on from time to time. 😊👍🏼
You have more treasure than Captain Jack Sparrow,, Wooohooooo Happy Days! Thank you!
Thanks
Crc-ii is a rad car. Fast AF, really nice build. Thanks for the vid again. Love it

My fav is the Ultima, cheers
Gauranga🙃

LOL I just binned some TR-15t tires, as nobody was bying them 😆 Look forward to seeing the dynablaster on road driving, in the future :D
Thanks. I am looking forward to it.
Awesome stuff Keith another great video. I like the unboxing vids I learn about cars I know nothing about it’s like a learning lesson.
Your want list grows as well. Lol
@@rcicons4915 the addiction is strong 😭
Love the enthusiasm! The TL01 is a great chassis, they make speed gears for the car and also have a lightweight chassis if you can find them. Enjoy!😊
Nice Kyosho Stack Bro. Enjoy it. Fantom really did dry up fast at least in states it seems.
Yes, I feel like they were gone in a couple of days
Great haul! The best 60th is the Mini-z Skyline 2000GT-R red body. And I've seen lots of new Yokomo's going under 400€ at Buyee. Currently 500€ at Tamico.
Love seeing this stuff especially the wacky purchases.
I think I’ve got a TL01 A Parts in silver if you want it, let me know. 🙌🏻
Nice Kyosho collection!

As for the price, I dont want to add up how much my race spec Top Force Evo has cost to put together.

I actually landed one on buyer for just over $300
@@rcicons4915 nice 👍 im tyring to stay away from buyee, but your vids aint helping with that 😂

That Phantom is super sick! 😮
Looks like a great fun time buddy.❤
Gotta admit that phantom does sing to me - that little nitro version especially but damn they’re expensive!!!
Wow! That’s an action packed box!

I got a JJ car. Yes, very much over priced. When I build mine I will put in a Trinity JJ brushed motor as well. Thoughts?
My LHS had the JJ Edition for $189. They can't sell them.
Damn that is one fast buggy 😊😊
Kyosho please make more nitro kits
