    you have explained partially incorrect. There is a fixed magnetic field provided to magnetron. And the bunching takes place because when oscillations happen in anode cavity, then a tangential elec field component is generated by RF; which in turn retards the electrons. Moreover, the oscillations happen not because of LC circuit . Its because when RF is applied to the cavity, the cavity behaves as short circuited Transmission line of different wavelengths (as per the no of cavities in design). Thus a resonance occurs due to standing waves generated.

    Hello,
    I have a question, can the electro magnetic waves be diverted in a pipe ? In case if i have 4 compartments to be cooked, I have one centralized Magnetron, Can I divert the waves through any tube like structure ? Is it possible to have a solenoids control 4 valves for each compartment and turn on in each compartment when ever required.
    And in a normal microwave oven, How is the distance influenced between magnetron and the food ? Suppose the distance is close to the food, and if the distance is 150mm , How this would result ?

      Frequency, time and power are very different variables! Magnetron frequency is determined by the physical cavity dimensions. Most microwave ovens can deliver a range of power levels so that your cooking time can be what you want.

      Aamas Vasave we put dc voltage to heat up the cathode and RF input to generate magnetic fields or by putting magnets

      @@hyperion3704 when we switched on a magnetron or we can say just before switching on a magnetron there will be no output then from where does you feed a part of output to the magnetron.
      Jab magnetron ko power ON kiya jaata hai ya magnetron ko power ON karne se theek pehle magnetron se koi bhi output nahi nikal raha.. to aap magnetron ko input kahan se denge.
