Would you recommend this keyboard for gaming? Mostly FPS games. Or are there better alternatives in this price range? Is there any noticeable latency in wired and wireless mode?

absolutely great for gaming wireless.
for me the big positives is the switches and keycaps. the typing feeling and sound is at double the price bracket.
if you get bored of the anime then just find plain keycaps set

there is RGB but these are not shine through keycaps, so you do see the lights but not as bright as shine through keycaps.
