    Ed Puzzle is one of the greatest tools for teaching foreign language that I have seen in years. It's truly a great tool.

      It's also worth noting that it's easy to use and linked to Google Classroom. I don't even mess with technologies that can't be linked to Google Classroom.

    Thanks so much for this fantastic, informative video on how to use Edpuzzle. I was going to make my own video (Lon Po Po), but found several others that were already done. This was a huge timesaver.

    Can I use my own video lectures in EDpuzzle or do I have to use existing videos from their library?

      Joe, so you can use their videos or upload your own, there is a ton of content on Edpuzzle I’ve never wanted to create my own, and plenty of people have create questions for each video which saves you time! If you want to use your own you could upload to RUclips and then search it on edpuzzle and start making questions. Hope this helps!!!

    I am just getting started....after reading some of the comments below I'm a bit confused. When I create a class, should I use Google Classroom or Add a new class? I signed up for the Basic free plan.

      I used Google classroom and it made it really easy! No codes to hand out! Just post assignments directly to GC from Edpuzzle!

      @@TubeTechie Thanks so much for the quick response. I looked again at the questions from about 2-3 weeks ago and the person who replied said NOT to use the Google Classroom option and NOT to import from Google because the students were being asked for a class code, which they didn't have. Maybe there was a bug there that has since been worked out? I just want to be as sure as I can that if I set this up with Google Classroom (which is my preference) my students will be able to access assignments. Due to distance learning, I don't have the option to have them try it out during a class period where I can see what will happen. I appreciate any further advice/reassurance, and your patience with my questions.

    Do my students have to signup for Edpuzzle if I am linking my Edpuzzle account with my Google Classroom accounts?

      They will have to just use your link posted in google classroom. If they are inside google classroom they’ve already signed in, they may have to give it permission though.

      Yes but you’ll have to Upload the video. I’ve always uploaded to RUclips then searched it and added questions.

    My school is using Canvas... is this edpuzzle compatible with Canvas?

    Great video! Thank you. :) However, there is no class code appearing on the current version of Edpuzzle now. Do you have any update about this? Some students are being asked for this code by Edpuzzle before accessing the content I assigned them to do.

      When you create a class the class code is on the students tab! Good luck if you have more questions just ask in the comments!

    What about the collection of student data? Are they FERPA compliant? Should I worry about student emails?

      I spoke with the CEO and he stated "it is 110% FERPA compliant" he also made me aware that his company has multiple departments dedicated to ensuring the student data is safe.

      You should be able to share no problem, it will just have both types of videos! But classes can be kept different

      I did for a bit, and did use edpuzzle a few times, yes it was useful! You can do a lot with it to supplement your teaching.

      Edith Damron all the data will still be stored on Edpuzzle, just go to your class on there.

      That’s a lot more work but all you would need to do is create in and upload it to RUclips, then search for your video add questions and assign it! If you need more explanation on the actual record software or cameras just let me know!

      I have plenty of time to watch five million videos. Again, for lazy teachers who don’t want to research their class content. Johnny didn’t watch the video because he mistook it for a music video. This does not inspire students to think.

      @@judyjo1600 You should watch all 5 million videos. Every video. You have to watch all of them to find just the right one. I hope you don't have plans for the weekend so you'll be able to watch all 5 million videos. Or, just search by subject. Or don't use this method at all.

    I want to make my own videos. Copyright issues are serious. Where are these videos coming from? These videos are not tailored for my classes.

      I have found some excellent All-Day videos. They run all day and allow teachers to nap or get haircuts.

      You use so many question marks. I think each extra question mark represents how angry you are at Edpuzzle. I used to be mad at Edpuzzle, but now I forgive it for everything it has done to hurt me.

      They also don't know David Attenborough. This man put so much time into this video to teach us how to use this at a time when so many teachers are asked to teach remotely for the first time. Say "thank you" instead.

      Again sorry, that you feel that way, not all teachers are bad or lazy, the good teachers (and there’s a lot) use it as support for what they are doing in the classroom or for distant learning purposes. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the program, I like to see different perspectives.
