@@BenAri18 tbf most people nowadays won't either
A light bulb lighting up back then was probably the highlight of Steve's life.
This is what I liked about the early MCU. It had its humorous quips, but it used them sparingly and not every other minute like modern MCU.
It's like captain is always excited when he sees a grenade
It gets him hard
He had to save the red lever
He is a soldier

THINGS GO BOOM wheeeee
3:15 I love how Cap shoots the rifle like he was taught during WW2
Well apparently the super stim doesn’t really help to improve his aim
Controlling an automatic rifle is quite a bit different than semiautomatic. He is carrying it historically accurate though with the ready position and chicken wing.
He not like nerd Desmond doss who afraid hold the gun and sword.
@@miguelohara4716 nah Desmond is a Chad
@@miguelohara4716 He's not afraid of using a gun, he didn't use a gun because of his belief. Also although he didn't use the gun to kill, he saved many lives. Imagine what Cap would be without the super soldier steroid. Desmond didn't have any steroid and he's still a hero.
This is what I considered peak Marvel cinematic universe. It kicked start the golden age of Marvel movies.
The best party of marvel was the interconnectedness between each movie and characters. It seems that everything being released today is way to isolated from the larger universe.
The good days when every movie felt like an event
@@phosu5518 remember the hype behind Infinity War and Endgame?
Avengers 1 and 2 is peak MCU
@@user-ro6ou5vo6b That Endgame movie was truly an endgame for the MCU ngl. I also lost interest in the marvel movies.
It's crazy how engaging they could make a scene just about fixing a helicarrier engine. When even the relatively mundane parts of an MCU film could be interesting.
That's because Phase 1 was still very grounded and they used more models and animatronics instead of solely relying on CGI in later movies.
@@IronMan-tk8uc huh? Avengers 1 didn't have animatronics. Did you mean sets?
@@ashishhembrom3905 Yes, practical effects in general.
@@IronMan-tk8uc no, that's not the reason, the writing is the reason, don't just blame everything on rushed cgi
@@jeanclaudethedarklord6205 It is the reason alright, in fact in these last years, there have been many reports from people who work on this kind of thing complaining about overload of work due to the studios demanding faster special effects without giving the proper time.
This Nick Fury was so competent, this Hawkeye, competent, Maria Hill, competent. A real shame what they've become.
Yeah.., Marie shouts grenade, Fury sneak attacks and takes out a few guys and Maria then saves him from the last. Not.. oh Fury is old and a man so terrible womp womp and Maria is suddenly dogshit and gets shot by someone she knows can shapeshift. More like Maria and Fury after years working together have some sort of code for that situation and she shoots Gravik in the fuckin' face realising it's not Fury. Absolute dogshit from Marvel these days.
To be fair, both Fury and Hill are Skrulls right now, so there's that.
Dude I'm so glad I stopped watching MCU not too many movies after this one. Looks like I saved A LOT of time & $$
@@shawnheidingsfelder8179No. They didn't become Skrulls until AFTER _Avengers: Endgame_ (unless there's some info I missed due to not seeing both _The Marvels_ and _Secret Invasion)._
@@jamiestewart48 Sad to see them put such awesome little details in this, just to have the more recent series and movies, either not give a crap, or make blatantly stupid character and plot choices... Like just look at Stark's heads up display for instance. It gives all these blink and you miss it, cool little details, which you won't even be able to see without pausing. They didn't have to put in that much effort, but they did anyways, because they cared... Now all they care about is money and getting the next bs IP out as quickly as possible, no matter how many characters it destroys or shits on in the process.
Funny attention to detail:
When Cap shoots the rifle, he shoots the traditional "chicken wing" shooting stance like they taught in WW2.
While everyone else shoots with a more modern shooting stance.
This movie concept's got potential. I hope they make many more sequels to break the box office record one day.

How did they make iron man so realistic looking
big budget Cgi for these movies
They put more effort with the actual costume and cgi back then
@@Ali-sh4ibYeah, I hate how the newer Iron Man suits completely look like CGI, and the shots with his helmet off look completely unnatural. Once they got rid of any practical basis for the suit, it kind of lost its magic.
@@KonohasYeIlowFlashThe last film with Iron Man practical basis for him and action sequences was Iron Man 3. Since Age of Ultron and Civil War they'd used much more CGI even for talking moments

Very interesting. In that short scene, Captain America experienced everything he learned during WW2 training.
"The Avengers" is a masterpiece. It felt much more natural than it's sequels
Exactly. This first Avengers will ALWAYS be my absolute favorite! The plot, the pacing, the special effects and even the goddamn lightning are just top-notch!
4:07 I find this moment funny for some reason, the kind of marvel comedy that is funny through and through
« Help »
-Tony Stark
That's terrifying
A funny moment that doesn’t undercut the seriousness of the scene. Funny how that works
Yep and not cheap and over comedy like avanger end game, thor love and sh*, and so on..
This how friendships and teamwork start. Let me lay it out:
Tony Stark didn't know Rogers, Dr. Bruce Banner didn't know Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton didn't know Thor, the way the Earth's Mightiest Heroes meet each other is like going to school. Nobody knows each other until we work together and get to know each other better, that's how people become the best of friends

There's more quaility and polishing in this scene than in some entire later movies in the mcu.
1:28 Remember the times when Fury was a prepared badass and not a depressed guy who sleeps on a bench? Aaah... what the fuck happened to this character.

@@PhantomViper49 nah infinity war >>>
This movie is very good though and arguably the most important and pivotal MCU movie
@@ooperblownup infinity war is good, but not great. There was too many jokes, everyone dies but they all come back losing the whole point of the movie, which is the heroes don't always win. I'd rather the heroes lose and be alive, than die and comeback pointlessly. Avengers (2012) was the first time bringing all super heroes together the bigscreen, the humor isn't forced, "that man is playing galaga," it is common for people to sneak things while working, it's relatabe. While infinity war wasn't terrible, it wasn't great, too much cgi, the battles could have been btter, overall more could have been done.
by todays marvel standards, this movie deserves an oscar
3:44 always curious how many G Force tony can handle in his suit
Sadly it ain't the suit that would increase the capability of human body limit. Already the G-suits that keep maximum blood in the brains by squeezing it from the legs, the limitation is reached either in period or on peak.
9 G for 30 seconds is limit to become a F-16 pilot. That is usually at the pilots peak and then they pass out.
But people have survived from IIRC 200 G's that lasted less than half a second, that was multiple times over the lethal amount (lethal amount equivalent to hit a wall at 60 km/h speed or something like that). The key is the delay the impact as much as possible, so it isn't instant. So as much the force can be slowed down, more you can survive.
One could think that Ironman suit would have a built-in G-suit cushions to squeeze his body to keep blood in brains and ease heart bumping.
@@paristohe’s been shown to fly at super sonic so I can see this being a thing
Yeah. That alone should've killed Tony. The amount of G Force on that is so deadly.

Most of superheroes superpowers is the ability to turn into a CGI stunt double when they have to do something action
You know for a movie where Cap keeps complaining about Tony being unable to make the sacrifice play; he seems to have forgotten how wrong this scenario could have gone.
