- Join me for a Walmart Spark ride along on Sunday August 4, 2024! I chase an incentive after a late start to the day. The weather is forecasted to storm which means it's a pretty nice day! Looking for a friend to spend your Spark driving day with? You've come to the right place!
Dang this randomly popped up in my recommended section. I remember years ago you used to upload thrifting content.
Yeah! How you been? I may throw some thrift/yard sale stuff in the mix here.
Have you thought about cross-docking at a community warehouse space? Semi's can drop at the dock. There's pallet jacks and sometimes forklifts for others to use. You just need to transport the product to your home space from there. When I would do this, I would rent a u-haul for the day to transport my stuff from the dock.
Yeah I thought about it. I still don't have the space to keep multiple pallets. Not many community spaces here either. I can rent a 1500 sq ft space with roll up door for about $1200. Last time I looked there was a space with AC/heat and an office for that price. That's what I'm looking for ideally.

Thanks for the thorough answer to my question. I have another one. How do you view "retirement" in your line of work? With no pension, no 401k, will you be able to sell the business or how do you ever stop working until you drop? Also maybe you could talk about why you moved to Delaware?
Addressed in the video coming out next! Keep the questions coming!
We had shopping only incentives Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Since so many were chasing shopping incentives I was knocking out well paying curbside offers, and higher item count shopping offers as few were accepting them
Most veteran Spark drivers went home early all 3 days, and many were missing in action, so I had my pick of open ASAP curbside, and shopping offers, which is very unusual in my market
The other store in 2 store home market had over a dozen $40 plus open shopping offers Sunday, most around $1 per item, yet many were unclaimed for 5 to 10 plus minutes at a time
I was able to knock out 2 curbside offers per hour at times since there were so many small low item count low mileage open ASAP curbside offers
Load times were super quick, most coming out in 5 minutes, or less, some immediately
So many items, and substitutions were out of stock that shopping was frustrating, and I had some cancellations due to out of stock items
Sounds like you had a great weekend! We only had the Sunday incentive. Friday and Saturday were both ok but could have been much better.
With the whole sit and wait for bigger items or keep moving and smaller orders. Im probably against the grain on this one but id rather always keep moving taking lower paying orders as long as there close to mediorce offers that can make at least 20 per hr. This is also just my side gig, not my dependent income, so im not as worried about my actual income with this compared to most, but i absolutely hate and have zero patience for sitting and doing nothing
That's where I'm leaning too. If I had a more fuel efficient vehicle, I'd take a lot more runs.
What’s your Amazon eBay shop?
Won't give out that info.
@@firststatedelivery what do you sell? Legos? Or return pallet stuff. Just curious
The advice I would give to anyone looking for inventory for Amazon is to sell as many different things as possible. I sell liquidation, toys, health and beauty, grocery, clothing and shoes, etc. Keep as wide a lane as possible and don't go really deep on any 1 item. The market can change really fast.
