Hello Eric Fick it was a great video you have made about your new speaker`s , yes i can see it was fore about 6 yers ago but anway, thanks. man . and ive hope your are well over there , regards from henrik madsen denmark,,,
bought a pair over a year ago from the Guitar Center here in Maine. They were good until about a month ago. I was DJing a wedding and one of the speakers decided to cut out. Now, it's a continuing problem, possibly an overheating speaker. I called Guitar Center to find out if they can take a look at it and they replied that they will never deal with Behringer products again. So, I am at a loss and have to invest in something else. I should have stuck to my passive speakers.
This speakers are great. The sounds is amazing.. I was wondering if we can connect a Bluetooth into the USB port to play music straight from my phone or is just for mic.. If anyone know let me know please.. Thanks
I also have the same ones...the only thing is that when i hook up my macbook laptop I only hear the music but no words. Do i still have to buy a mixer for it?
la meza te permitira conectarte a cada parlante independientemente si lo haces a uno solo es como escucharlo monofonicamente y es probable que ocurra eso,lo tro seria ver si tu conector es estereo puede ser eso..
No I think that there is something roung with your speakers you might need to take them back to the store mine worked fine right out the box. I hop this helps
i tried to look it up my gess would be half or so around 500 watts rms or sow but powered speakers there all different on how they test there power amps on there rms scale.
Does anybody have more knowledge on the "safe mode" function these speakers feature? I believe that is what happened to mine and I'm not sure how to produce sound anymore. All lights on the back are blinking simultaneously EXCEPT the amp light. Like I said there is no sound, did I blow the amp?
did you have a break in period for your speakers? I have one of these same speakers and when I first hooked it up to my mixtrack pro 2, I was getting a lot of high end, sort of muffled low end and mids/vocals were spacey and sometimes distorted. They are brand new so I was assuming maybe I had to break them in some more.
@@DRONgall well if you get a vary small mixer it would work easier to hook up but you can just get a wire that will from the input to the out put of the lap top then your done but you need to uses the volume on the speaker for your level
how are the speakers treating you til this day . i'm thinking of getting a pair. I just don't want to buy them and they go on me 8 months down the line. Does your still work like new ?
i have a some problems with them i did some big school dances and they work there ass off and something in the sub on two of them made the amp clip sooner then they should but i got the on them and they fix them and had them back to me in a week. i mostly do wedding and small to medium size party's and they work great for them. they do sound great the look good they work just fine for what i do most of the time. i don't think you will go wrong on buying a par of them. just get the warrant on them.
How bad is clipping for the speaker? Like how much would it have to be lighting up red for it to do big damage to the speaker? And is there a way to get higher decibels without always clipping?
when you're constantly clipping the amplifier you are sending was known as a square wave to the speaker causing it to heat up instead of move every time the red light comes on the speaker stops moving back and forth first tenth of a second it can build up heat so the more the amplifier Clips the hot of the speaker can get and the more chances you are too damaging the speaker and or the amplifier by blowing fuses inside or damaging other parts of the amplifier it also causes it to overheat so you must watch the clip light coming on if you want to make your power speakers last longer watch your base and keep it turn it down a little bit
well one of things is is the indicator lights may have been coming on and you might not have noticed it during your gig also the fact that you had them on for nine hours means they could have gotten hot and shutdown to protect themselves and all the things that I've done I've only had my speakers shut down once on me and I was at a school dance I was playing music incredibly loud and they weren't down 15 minutes they were down maybe 2 minutes 3 but I shut them off and turn them back on again and they were hot
ok so this wouldn't have n e thing to do with the controller or program not being updated... the place I got the speaker from told me to update that I update my serato but the board was up to date and another thing I use to run a sub and my speaker (1)... Saturday I had (2)speakers and a sub never had that problem before with one
I'm not sure about the update thing but speakers as long as you're running them within safe parameters they should not shut off now your mixer console or your computer they can turn off if you had updates that made it turn off but I run to Behringer subs and Four Tops and never have any problems with them shutting off as long as I keep an eye on the clip lights I do run a separate crossover dbx so that I can control the subs volume and tops individually from my booth so I don't need to walk over to the speakers
it is a safety feature that lets you know that you have reached maximum output of the amplifier and if it blinks too many times it was shut down into safety mode to protect the amp and the speakers once you bring the volume back down again and it cools off it will bring the power back up

i tried to look it up my gess would be half or so around 500 watts rms or sow but powered speakers there all different on how they test there power amps on there rms scale.
Is it safe to connect outputs (L/R) from the mixer into one speaker?
there is an out put on the back of the speakers

OK YEP THEY CAME BACK ON 15 MINUTES LATER so how can that be prevented because I wasnt running them hard I was playing them for about 9HRS
well one of things is is the indicator lights may have been coming on and you might not have noticed it during your gig also the fact that you had them on for nine hours means they could have gotten hot and shutdown to protect themselves and all the things that I've done I've only had my speakers shut down once on me and I was at a school dance I was playing music incredibly loud and they weren't down 15 minutes they were down maybe 2 minutes 3 but I shut them off and turn them back on again and they were hot
i use i mixer i run in to it then to the speakers and it works fine.
So you can't connect it directly into PC or Laptop?
yes with the right cable you can
Mine died after 5 years. All lights flashing with no sound from the speaker.

come vi sembra la b115d?
Hi how do u connect them using the output?
Yes you go out one in to they athere set the leave and go with it one xlr cable in and out to the out to the in on they athere done.
when u say clip mean they went out

No explanation for repair. Are you a salesman?? Are you trying sell it instead explaining repair???
I need repair info.
No im not a salesman and I don't fix speakers
What's the RMS? Peak doesn't always tell the whole story. Thanks!
I am having difficulty linking two of them together can you advise?
Darz it should be as easy as one Mic cable if that don't work your speaker has a problem.
