You have a better option for speakers... That speaker have 250w rms if you choose behringer B112/B115 speakers have 1000w amplifier and have 520w rms and are in same range of price. B115 was my first speakers, I used to do weddings with them. Now have another system but I still use behringer B115 for cocktails sound in exterior because of mp3 USB port. Thanks for your videos reviewing products.
Before I discovered the Alto TS 3 series I used Behringer tops exclusively and still have the b112 and b215. They sound great and are very reliable. While, in my opinion, the Altos are better you cannot go wrong with these, especially at the price point. I still use the Behringers depending on the room size for my solo singing shows. Great stuff as always Robin.
I still have my behringer B115 mp3 and still use it for small events, it have a very good bass. I think your behringer B112 sound better than 212 can you confirm?
Lio Dasilva Yes. The 112’s were better for my solo vocal shows. The 212’s were a little too “punchy” on the bottom end for that. That’s why I got the 215’s for DJ’ing. And they were great until I discovered the TS series. Now I use the 310’s for the vocals and 315’s for DJ’ing. The 112’s still get used if I need A 4 speaker set up for now until I get the 312’s.
I run two of the 15 subs under my booth side by side got them at a pawn shop.. they work well in smaller venues but clip easy if you use the bass boost...that's why I say the dbx driverack pa2 is a must have for lower cost speakers and subs... The 15 subs do have a good punch with the right settings on the crossover.. ..you can DJ with them in the right settings...one of the handles did crack in the middle...
Hi im wondering if i can get some advice on what subwoofer to get ? I currently have two Behringer B115D tops. Do you suggest i stick with the same brand for a single sub or another brand ? I am looking for an active subwoofer of course. What Power is suitable and best for me?? Both tops are 1000W Each
I have a BEHRINGER Xenyx x2222usb... I have two 15in powered speakers running out of the MAIN OUTPUTS L and R of the mixer... Then I have one 15in powered SUB running out the SUB OUTPUTS 1 and 2, I have each cable running out of the mixer to both the sub INPUTS on the sub... Is this ok? I wanted to do it like this so I can control the sub separately... Im just not sure if I have it correct...
Great job man thanks, now, what do you think if is a good configuration with one b212d and one b1200d pro sub or two b212d. I mention that this system will be for home or my yard
What would you recommend for new member to the DJ world, with a FLX4. Need to purchase speakers to use at parties (back yard, inside) 100-150 people max. But would like to buy something that can grow with skill. EDM music and a lot of base music. I want to buy them as a gift for my son. I am looking at Behringer B112D vs DR112DSP. Bluetooth I think is something that he is wanting, and I thought perhaps having a USB port would be handy. However the DSP does seem like it has lots of benefits. Would greatly appreciate your input. Cheers Julia
you cant go wrong with a pair of B115W's especially if your playing EDM, I think you'll find them punchy enough without the need for a Sub and the Bluetooth feature comes in handy to.
subcribed this channel for the reviews ! what i would like is a "live sound" not ear deafening loud, but a live sound and a big "stage" would this work in a bigger living room?
great review, but I have a problem with the sub. Whenever I connect my active tops thru the sub, they're only able to deliver 50% volume ish. It's all connected thru a dj mixer. do you have any idea why the volume is so low?
You need to run it thru an external mixer I recommend the Yamaha MG-10XU that's what i use it really cranks out the volume. The DJ Mixer is not powerful enough. I had the same problem as you till an audio guru friend told me what to do and it works like magic. To hook it up you go from the DJ mixer into the external mixer and into the subs and from the subs into the tops. I have the Behringer 2x B115D 2X Behringer EUROLIVE B1500XP Active 3000W Subwoofer & The Pioneer DDJ SZ Controller
Massive reduction in bass. Listen again with headphones 🤣 mid and high is obviously no different but the 212(either active or passive) barely gets 80hz on it's own.
We have this same woofer in our place of worship but currently experiencing problems. No sound, the three lights at the back blinks every 5 seconds. Can anyone help what the problem could be?
Can u Compare these with/without subwoofer to the Mackie, ZLX and EON lines? I think the Behringer sounds better than the Mackie. Just the design is a bit more professional
Thank you so much for ALL of your videos. I have a few questions, and if you or others would volunteer your knowledge that undoubtedly vastly surpasses mine, I would be so appreciative. 1. I've heard from a few people that the D212d's are better than the newer D112d's? True? I've heard they are equally as loud, and equally as clear if not a little better. Opinion? 2. How would you run two stereo tops with one mono sub? Can this be done with just the Behringer gear or would an external crossover be necessary? 3. We are a Christian pop-punk band, I'm disabled and haven't worked in a decade (and no, I don't collect disability), so money is TIGHT. You don't even understand. We can purchase a PAIR of new D212D's for $300 shipped. We mainly need them for band writing and rehearsal with a 500 watt bass full stack and a 120 watt tube guitar head with a half stack 4x12 and real drums. We'd be sending vocals, synths, and loops through the D212's. Can they cut the mustard in this context? Of course, we'd like them to pull double duty as PA playing small little homemade gigs? Again, this is without a sub. Can they get the vocals and synths over the drums? We are well past the times of ear bleeding stupid loud audio, but we do want to feel it. 4. You went through great pains to say these speakers are in NO WAY professional, that they are for at home or little no $ parties. Why is that? Sound quality? Reliability? Thank you so much, please remember we are trying to do something with next to nothing here. If I were working we could save and make a proper investment in gear that would sound good and last. BUT, we really can't afford to throw away money spent on Behringer. I had previously sworn off Behringer altogether, for the reasons everyone knows - gear non-functional out of the box, and every single Behringer product that I bought or used eventually failed. A lot of people are saying those days are largely over for Behringer. I don't know if that is true or not. We have purchased a few items in the past few years and surprisingly they have not blown up yet after a few years of use. So we're on the fence re dealing with Behringer at all. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
YES you can, only if your full range speakers are powered, otherwise, you need an amp. Same connectivity, mixer out to sub inputs, then use the output jacks to amp or powered speakers. Dial your desired frequency, and bass boost to match your tops.
For the DJ / small pa use would you say the Alto subs are better than these? I do use alto 12inch active tops at present, just the above are on offer at present.
I am going to do a head to head but the alto does cost $200 more and has 125 watts more power. So I would be surprised if it did not sound better. BUT is it $200 better?
I have an Alto 18 trusonic and the behringer 15s.. the 18 vibrates more resonance in different rooms..while the 15s are tight thump.. kicks are punchy.. but peak a lot sooner than the alto ..but the alto is 1200watt 18 inch... I get great sound from the 15s side by side running thru my dbx driverack pa2 ( crossed ) (compressor) and most importantly ..( limiter). The limiter lets me push harder without peaking the built in amp..I don't use the subs boost because it peaks before you get loud..I run everything at 12 o'clock letting a dbx do all the work. You can run the high cut all the way to 150 but it gets a little muddy so I'll leave it in the 40-80 Hertz range on the speaker itself if you don't have a dbx.. overall I think the subs are pretty good but I didn't pay full price I got them used from someone else.. I don't have the tops so I can't tell you much about those.
That's a good point it may be a great 3-year warranty but if you don't live close to a service center that could be a problem. So for everyone reading this, you could always check the Manufactures website to make sure you will be good with service after the purchase. You just never know if you will need it. Note that 5% of all electronic sold will at some point need service under the Warranty period.
@@expertisland why do you keep saying that when ive encountered behringer subs in pro use in bar dance floors often enough to consider them commonplace.
You can't make that statement and then not explain it. You'd be surprised at how many live venues use behringer gear blasted every night for hours, without issues for years.

I think I will alto and and some of the other brand we have.
Excellent presentation Friend! Good PR too. Nice scientific approach.
