Personally, I don't like pop music, which is why I love "WHAT?" because it's a fusion of different genres like rock, even heavy metal, hiphop/rap, etc. and the lyrics is meaningful and unpretentious. Thanks for reacting to #SB19! The main producer is Simon Servida, who’s Filipino-Canadian. Perhaps you could react to his vlog to understand more how What? was created? 💙💙💙
SB19 is a five-member Filipino boy band that debuted in 2018, consisting of Josh, Pablo, Stell, Ken, and Justin. They were trained for three years by ShowBT Philippines, beginning in 2016. They are the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act to be nominated in Billboard Music Awards for the Top Social Artist category.
The song is produced by a Filipino (Servida Music), not really a Korean, with the help of Pablo, the leader of the group. He even created a video for this.
Self love self empowerment follow your own path dont listen to your haters and dont let them dictate what you should do. Raise your own flag no matter what. Going against the grain and fighting through obstacles
Hi thanks for reacting to SB19. Yeah they are K-Pop inspired because they're under a Korean Entertainment company there in the Philippines. In regards to producers one of those is Pablo the LEADER of the group is a full blooded Filipino and the rest of 3 more producers are also Filipino. From what I know the only Korean had contributed there is the mixing and mastering of the song. Which I don't know if it's also a part of producer. The Creative Director of this video is Justin the youngest member of the group. Then the main choreographer is Stell the main vocal of the group. I hope that you enjoyed watching this MV, your reaction are well appreciated by us A'TIN 💙💙💙
I feel bad for Sb19 seriously, they're doing their best to make their OWN identity on POP industry and yet still being called KPOP. WHERE'S THE JUSTICE IN THERE??
The producers were mostly filipino. Pablo wrote the song and even composed it. Sure they are influenced by it cause they are in a korean ent. Company but pop music no matter where it came from is pop music. It just happen that kpop is more mainstream. And respect also SB19 as well cause they work hard and spend a lot of budget to pull this high quality mv only to be labeled as kpop. Whats the definition of kpop btw. Western artist also do the same high budget mv like what also kpop mv do.
VERY WRONG conclusion. If you read the description of the WHAT? video, it says: Mixed by: Hyun Jeong Ko (Koko Sound Studio Korea). It means, one of the persons who help produce the song by mixing it, is a Korean. Hope this clarifies your wrong statement.
@@DaveMediaTV it also meant that the song already had its unique sound that Pablo as the producer wanted . What the mixing did is polish their song to make it sound as good as possible “taking all individual sounds of a song , balancing them so they all work well together. Not the Same at all like their previous song when people can pinpoint what kpop group the song might sound like because he producer also produced for those kpop groups. This time Sb19 and their filipino collaborators were the main players
SB19's name was taken from the initials of their Korean management company, ShowBT, while the number 19 was taken from the country codes of South Korea (82) and the Philippines (63), by adding the digits or by getting the numerical difference, signifying the strong bond between the two countries that led to the group's creation. However, the members themselves came up with an alternative meaning, using the phrase "Sound Break" to make known their intention to break into the Philippine music industry and their aspiration to provide a higher standard for other Filipino idols to follow. Their group introduction, "Get in the zone, BREAK! Hi! We are SB19!" is also a reinforcement of their ambition to become the first Korean-trained Filipino idol group to represent the Philippines and the Filipino talent on a global scale.
To be honest as a fan I'm offended, but I also understand cause today's trending group artist is Kpop. I've been a multi-fan of Kpop for a long time until now, but when I started to stan Sb19 I thought that maybe I like them because they were like Kpop. But time pass realized that I liked Sb19 NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE LIKE KPOP, but because they ARE MORE DIFFERENT THAN KPOP, they have this music that's not only captures your ears and attention but they also touches you heart you can feel the emotions to there songs you can feel there hardwork , every songs have a deep meaning that every one of us can relate , they don't follow what is trending right now they make the trends, they are more talented, they make their own music, they make their own concept, because they are FILIPINO!. Filipinos is also known for there love to music and amazing talents, music is always been part of every Filipino, and I'm proud of it. Maybe you won't understand this but if you always watch them you will realized that their is a big difference between them and KPOP, because they are P-POP never been like KPOP.
Thank you for checking out out PPOP KINGS!!! If you wanna know more of their vocal potential check out their ballad song "TILALUHA live on wish bus" and their cover of "BAKIT BA IKAW live on MYX" ^.^
Watching this after watching your reaction to “Alab”. I agree with you that it’s similar to K-pop because of mixing of rapping and singing, but especially because of them dancing. I’m not too familiar with K-Pop, so I can’t judge if it’s sounds K-poppy. However, several reactors have been saying that it sounds different to K-pop, so I guess it’s a matter of opinion. What’s special about SB19 is that they all sing, dance and rap, they compose and/or write their own songs, co-produce their music and except for a couple of songs did their own choreography. Thanks for reacting to their material. Looking forward to more reactions, especially to their live performances of their ballads “Tilaluha” and “Hanggang sa Huli” (I recommend to watch the videos from TM Pusuan or WishBus.) 감사합니다.
Thank you for reacting and featuring SB19 , BTW THEY HAVE BALLADS SONGS TOO, try to react to one of their live performances in TM PUSUAN, they sang their debut song TILALUHA ang I'm pretty sure you will like it too..
Pop is a universal genre no one's own it. K-pop is influenced also by J-pop and American pop. Thanks for reacting to them. Try understanding the meaning of the song to better know about it.
@@e4k what about the idol industry? It all started from Jpop tho, the very blueprint of Kpop orginated from Jpop. Do your research. Even the so-called “slave contracts” between the management and the idol was influenced by Jpop too.
SB19 is unique in other pop group.. their talent is pure and their voices are NATURAL!THEY Are very good when it comes to harmonizing and blending their voices...some reactor said that they are different in other pop group.. especially when it comes to live performance....so maybe you compared them to kpop because they're under korean management but their song is not a KPOP and their voices is different in KPOP....next time don't compare any pop groups to KPOP in your reaction because your viewers are of different races...anyways thanks for reacting them...no hates!just love!😊
Try to react of how they create this masterpiece. Simon servida the yt producer is the co producer with collaboration of the leader of sb19 pablo and others.
Hi! It seemed to me you reacted already to this before. But maybe not. At a glimpse the MV showed they were standing up for/battling against something to be at the end happy and free and peacefully getting along with all. There's much to be said about the MV and the behind the MV. I'll let the passionate A'tin (SB19 fandom) do it. This is the first song of their comeback. We're waiting for them to perform it live. And looking forward to the rest of the songs for this comeback.
Pls watch What dance practice. Looking forward for more SB19 reaction vids. They are now being nominated in BBMA along side BTS Blackpink Ariana Grande and 17.

Thank you for reacting sb19, please react also to sb19 TILALUHA live
The song is produced by a Filipino (Servida Music), not really a Korean, with the help of Pablo, the leader of the group. He even created a video for this.
Thank you for reacting to SB19🥰

Mixing is also part of producing the song. So, your conclusion is indeed wrong. Feel free to correct your statement.
Thank you for reacting them🙏, hopefully more react them bcuz they are very total performer(VERSATILE).
try to react korean times.💕
Thank you for your reaction on SB19. For more information just check on Google.🇵🇭
Thanks for your reaction for SB19
Pls react
FANFEST intro love goes+ go up + dance break by SB19
Thank you 😊❤️🇵🇭
I feel bad for Sb19 seriously, they're doing their best to make their OWN identity on POP industry and yet still being called KPOP. WHERE'S THE JUSTICE IN THERE??
all of them are rappers, singers and dancers... they write and choreograph their own songs.
They even have their own creative director in their group.
Wow!!!! Our PPOP Kings!!!! Thanks for this reaction video.
#SB19
They're best in ballads too💙
Gosh they are world class now 😊
Ty for reacting!!
Having English subtitles you need to open it. Thanks for reacting to our boys SB19. Keep safe and God bless.
@@DaveMediaTV well i knew that. What i meant is mostly filipinos who co produce.
@@ks17on dont mind that dave media ...he is a TROLL....his comments were copy paste everywhere here in the comment section
I don't know why you kept saying that it's sound like "KPOP" cause I heard this song and it's more on rock.
I agree... pop rock for me
SB19's name was taken from the initials of their Korean management company, ShowBT, while the number 19 was taken from the country codes of South Korea (82) and the Philippines (63), by adding the digits or by getting the numerical difference, signifying the strong bond between the two countries that led to the group's creation.
I agree
🔥 WHAT❔🙌🏻👏🏽💙
I'm here because of sb19 💙💙
Thank you for reacting po.

No, this video reminds me of Backstreet Boys' Everybody with a different theme.
🤔 hmmm… I never ever saw them perform like this.
their producers in this song are all filipinos. anw, thanks for reacting to #SB19.
love from Philippines 💕❤️💞
Ama salamat ikaw ang agimat 😍😍😍
Actually all SB19 music lyrics are very substantial..especially their WHAT?
I don't see any K-Pop style in here, it is just P-pop style and i love it 😍
Exactly
bulag kc
As a Pinoy Hiphop listener. That rap part is dope.
Thnaks for kind explanation 감사합니다😀
They can sing ballad too 😊..
Thank you for reacting SB19 ! Maraming salamat po !
Fyi JPOP influence in KPOP was only rock ballad :)
@@e4k what about the idol industry? It all started from Jpop tho, the very blueprint of Kpop orginated from Jpop. Do your research. Even the so-called “slave contracts” between the management and the idol was influenced by Jpop too.
💙💙💙#SB19
The producers are filipinos that includes the groups leader Pablo..
#SB19...🥰🥰😍😍
SB19 is unique in other pop group.. their talent is pure and their voices are NATURAL!THEY Are very good when it comes to harmonizing and blending their voices...some reactor said that they are different in other pop group.. especially when it comes to live performance....so maybe you compared them to kpop because they're under korean management but their song is not a KPOP and their voices is different in KPOP....next time don't compare any pop groups to KPOP in your reaction because your viewers are of different races...anyways thanks for reacting them...no hates!just love!😊
VERY WELL SAID HOPE HE CAN UNDERSTAND IT............
No It's my first time hearing and reacting to this group lol
But I've seen the comments before😁

🔸SB19 Racism Controversy
Fame usually comes along with controversies and SB19 is no exemption.
The P-pop group was accused as a racist back in December 2019 following a Twitter post about their concert at Negros Occidental in the Visayas region.
“Hello, Negros! We are now in your zone! Excited na kami sa mga mangyayari sa aming first stop for our nationwide tour #SB19inNegros #SB19 #SB19_JOSH #SB19_SEJUN #SB19_STELL #SB19_KEN #SB19_JUSTIN,”
The supposed promotional tweet ignited confusion to those unfamiliar with the province and branded it as a racist remark. And although, fans were quick to clarify that ‘Negros’ is a place in the Philippines and the five guys mean no harm - the ‘racism’ controversy made it to the Asian Boss.
