thanks dude! i committed to madison this morning :))
Thank you! I’m probably committing to Madison soon. I’m also an Indian international.. let’s see how the journey goes ❤
You got this!
@@NandanV thank you so much! I’m just nervous about finding Indian roommates lol
I love you my man
Just got direct admit to the business school for finance. Picking between UW-Seattle (didn’t get directly into business school) and UW-Madison business school. I’m leaning Wisconsin rn.
I may be biased but UW Madison all the way 💯
thank you :) love your channel
Glad you enjoy it, Kavya :)
I was graduated from UW Madison
In the year 1983
i was thinking of applying to uw madison, but one thing that really matters to me is the on-campus part-time jobs..are they readily available? how much can i expect? Please answer it would be great help. thank you for all the videos you make they have been a huge help ❣
hello Nandan, I recntly got off the waitlist for CS at UW Madison and I am an international student (indian) and look for some scholarship an aid and nothing is available can I get in touch with you ? or can u make a video on how after first year students can cut off costs?
got admit letter for MS just 2 days ago n was gonna look for this only 😅😂
Hahah perfect timing then - congrats on the admission!
Any whatsapp group for fall23 admits?
I too got accepted for fall 23 MS can I get any contact info so that we can connect
How hard is it to get into UW, given that you are a Indian International student? I got admit in North Eastern and anticipating admit from UW. Should I proceed with NE or await for UW’s decision?
Hiee I m Riya, struggling for accomodation. Plz help if possible, I'll be getting thr in next month end.
I got accepted into uw-madison as a political science major but I've decided that I'm more passionate about business marketing or finance. How hard do you think it will be for me to be able to change my major from the College of Letters and Science to the College of Business? Also, your videos are very helpful, thank you!
Congrats on the admission, Andreea! I think it should be a fairly simple switch - you can bring it up during orientation and they should be able to let you know the specifics (most likely talk to and advisor once your first sem starts). Glad the videos help! Thanks for watching :)
@ Andrea dont switch schools
Hi Nandan, My son got offer in UW Madison for letter and science college, we applied for CS but nowhere it is mentioned in offer letter that he has been offered to BS CS, how do we tske it
All students join uw madison without a declared major, you get into one of their schools(letters and sciences, engineering, business, etc) once in those you have to complete the prerequisite courses nessesary to declare your major. CS is in the school of letters and sciences btw
Anyone want to connect regarding further steps or is there any groups in what's app or telegram for fall 23 admits please
if for example I don't fail any subjects but score really bad compared to my predicted grades, will they still cancel my offer?
Doing that in one class may be fine but in multiple would increase the risk of academic probation (basically maintain above a certain grade your first year). Try to get as close to the predicted as you can. Also I don’t work for admissions or have any affiliation with the uni so take my words with a grain of salt 😂
Hi Nandan! Thanks for your much informative videos. My son got offered admission in UWM in its Comp. Science undergrad course. He has also offer from UBC Vancouver. Please help in taking decision out of these two. Thanks a lot.
us generally has better job opportunities
Hey ashvinavi! I’m not sure about UBC Vancouver’s CS curriculum, but you may want to compare their coursework with UW Madison's. There's more opportunity for CS grads in the US, but the city life and chance of PR are higher in Vancouver (and Canada as a whole) from what I understand
@@NandanV 🤣
what happens if you butcher that math test?
It’s fairly simple but you’d have to take Calc 1 (Math 221) if you don’t get above a certain grade. If you get above that grade you can skip to calc 2 (Math 222) if required by your major
Dude I got into UW Madison CS and UIUC EE im so confused what to go for 😂
Hahah they’re both great options - you could base it off of coursework at both unis and what seems interesting to you as of now. And the vibes of the place ofc (watch my video on how to pick a university if you haven’t already!)
@@NandanV yeah dude thank you so much for all the info. I applied to Madison because of you 💪
Got PhD offer from UW Madison.
Congrats Parth!
Thanks nandan:)) is there any whatsapp group for fall23 admits?
Bro just made a thing how bad the University of Wisconsin was 😂
Are you a U.S. citizen ?
No, I’m not
@@NandanV Where are you from?
