I'm sorry but it's getting increasingly frustrating when people use cold weather/wind/gloomy skies as a con for a college because it has little-to-nothing to do with the actual school and some people, like me, actually like cold and gloomy weather just had to say that
I chose uw madiso cuz i grew up in the middern east and always liked thr winter vibe. Dont get me wrong seeing the snow in a rlly long time was a nice experience... for like a month. Winter is rlly harsh. Buses are always full which means u gotta walk 15 minutes to class early in the morning. If u get the chance live near ur classes. Would not recommend treadi g through a Snownami
I'm from NYC and I want to leave for university especially to live the "Big American" university experience so I've been looking into different schools but debating whether it'll be too big of a change. Anyways, this video was super insightful, and loved how quick to the point you were!
They act like they admit you to engineering but you actually aren’t really in the CoE until you make progression. Basically, you’re going to have to have a B average in very competitive classes or they kick you out after 3 semesters. Other major programs don’t do this - you only need a C average to stick. Getting kicked 3 semesters in sucks.
Hi! I'm considering going to UW Madison for a student exchange program in my current university but I don't have an idea how much it would cost to actually live there. Do you have a video on that? Like everything that a foreign exchange student needs to be aware in terms of financial. Thank you in advance!
Hey Nicca! Of course, here's one I made that breaks down all my expenses - ruclips.net/video/AfiyGRfEghU/видео.html ; I also have one on finances in the US if you're interested - ruclips.net/video/iLZOS1BEXVg/видео.html

Stuck between here and UMN. UW Madison has the edge academically but UMN in the twin cities has so much more diversity and I feel like there is much more to do and experience
I am from the Twin Cities and went to Madison. If you’re looking for a college feel, then Madison is definitely the right choice. If you’d prefer to be in a big city where you can explore and “get lost”, then do UMN. Academically they’re so similar so just pick the college that will give you the lifestyle you want outside of class. Not that you asked…but you can’t go wrong with either choice.
@@NandanV I got deffered. I’m in state, 4.071 gpa, 30 act, loads of extra curriculars, and killer essays. Uw Madison is my dream school and idk what to do.
NYU will suck you dry of money, excluding living exp, and living expenses in NY is you know...i need not tell you. So as an international student, there would be peters competing for funding too, so risky take.
What are some thoughts / concerns you have on attending UW Madison?
best damn school ever your wrong I got family members and friends that went there zero problems

Ooo, that would be quite the change from NYC to one of the Big 10 campuses. Thanks so much, Ines, glad you enjoyed the video :)
How's physics department and electrical department from UW Madison?
