    • @CountertopEpoxy
      @CountertopEpoxy  Год назад +1

      We used MDF board and joined and sealed the seams with our Countertop Epoxy let it cure then used bondo ontop of the seam and sanded it for a smooth finish then the flood coat was poured ontop.

    • @CountertopEpoxy

      Yes we typically build with mdf pour then place panels. We also have a wall epoxy that is thicker that can be troweled on the wall.

      The Base is our Premium Epoxy with our white liquid base color. Then a layer that is the same with mixed Pearl Metallic Powder. For the veins its our Charcoal Metallic Powder mixed with our Premium Epoxy. Then accented with our Gold Metallic Powder mixed with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol.

    Ive actually set one up of real marble 2 stories high. Yeah break a part of it and the whole thing was ruined. Since it was natural the veins were unique. I feel kind of glad that now we can get the look for cheap. But it will never have the quality and outlast the real thing. Sadden by how we are willing to use cheap materials in construction that wont last too long and are easily damaged and disposed of.

    Too much effort and too much ingredients and much more expenses. There are more easier ways to make a marble effect and much more cheaper
